Hello all Thought I'd start off a new thread as the last one was HUGE! So how we all doing?? I hope all the other 2WW's are hanging on in there - especially Donna, we'll all be thinking of you on Friday and Di, thinking of you too honey and July ann hope you are feeling better! Sarah - glad someone else has a dh has wierd as mine! Val - glad to see your back from EC and rested, it doesn't matter how many embies you start off with - it only takes one good one to work and thats all we all want!!! Hayley - have you recovered from the digger incident and the scan - thinking of you and hope all is ok. Happy sniffing, injecting or waiting to everyone. love nikola.xx

good idea nikola...i was completely lost in the other tread! well the cars still drivable , but why is it that when anyone see's the dinge they all say "god hayley , what did YOU do to your car!!!!" they just take it for granted that it was me who smashed it .. not dh or builders for that matter....think i'll kill the nx person to say that hmmmm well feeling more positive about yesterdays scan now so we'll see what tomorrow's scan tells us ...prob ec sat/sun :-O the sooner the better as im a tad uncomfortable at the mo! can i ask a q??? last time i didnt get as far as et so never had to use the pessaries, so how often do you have to 'insert

Hayley, people are v.brave tackling you with all the hormones flying about - I'm suprised you've not lost it already. You should say "I didn't smash the car but I'm likely to smash your face in if you don't shut up!" - that should work, subtle but to the point, I feel! Good luck with your scan tomorrow, I'm sure it will be fine AND you'll make it to ET and then you can join in the pessary gang. They don't sting, they don't do anything except make a bit of a mess! I have to do mine at night, so I tend to do them just as I'm getting into bed, so I can lie down and it doesn't melt and trickle down my leg (too much info? sorry!) I only do one a day and its a bit like popping a torpedo of wax or a crayon in and then it melts and makes a mess. Pretty disgusting really, but they don't hurt and if you stick them in far enough they don't come out. Although Helen S (an old timer on this site!) told me that hers always pop out no matter what she does - she has to lie on the bed to put them in!! My dh has offered to go round and do her injections but he draws the line at helping with her pessaries!!! The one good thing about pessaries is that they make your skin and hair shine beautifully. You look and feel great (apart from the bloated stomach!) I bet you can't wait!! Talk to you soon love nikola.xx

pessaries dont seem to bad then, thnx for the advise. fingers crossed i get to experience the pleasure!! definately looking forward to the nice skin asthe injection have brought out a couple of whoopers! i hope im not tooooo graphic , but i've just been to the loo and discovered a small blood clot in my wee (sorry!!) but im a bit worried about this. has this ever happened to you? Do you think i should call the clinic? im not in any pain or anything but just concerned. thank you hayley

Hi hayley V.graphic espcially during tuna/jacket potato!!! Nevermind, needs must. I've had blood clots before but not specifically during tmt, I would phone your clinic for peace of mind if nothing else. I imagine they'll say its fine and will check you out tomorrow. Are you remembering to drink lots of water? You should be drinking a min of 2 litres a day! I'm not sure what that equates to in real language, but I tend to drink about 8 pints! (and spend the rest of the time on the loo!) It might just be your body ojecting to all the drugs. Phone the clinic for reassurance - let me know what they say! love nikola.xx

Hi to all SCB's , hope you're all feeling positive today. I had EC this morning and they got 4 eggs out which is brilliant (only had one last time) so still feeling positive, though the pessimist side of me does keep saying 'it's all going too smoothly this time'. Will find out tomorrow how many, if any, have fertilised and then ET hopefully Friday Hope the rest of you are all OK Lots of love, Kat xx

hi girls kat well done, i hope you are getting lot's of rest.you only need one. what time do you have to phone clinic. nikola and sarah how are you feeling today. hi haley good luck for sat, with regards to the pessaries i have to take them in the morning 400mg and the evening 400mg.I have been told i must lay down for 30 minutes after wards. then there is not to much mess.oh the clinic run out of 400mg so i have to put two 200mg in.the things we do to get pg. i'm feeling fine but so wish it was next week,every little pain and i'm of to check my knicker's perhaps that was to much info. from july ann

No wonder this website comes up as "adult sex site" !! Im fine July Ann-a bit anxious cos apart from niggling pains in lower abodomen for a few days, now stopped!! no other symptons.. I read a lot of posts where girls who get ++ve get spotting, has anyone seen any +ve girls post that have had no bleeding?? Fingers crossed for a good fertilisation Kat xx Hayley-as Nikola says just a bit messy!! I have to use 2x400mg twice a day. I tend to use them 6.15am & 6.15pm & lie down for about 30 mins after...... I know this is gonna sound gross(its 15.45 so hopefully noone is eating lunch or dinner) but I find it better if you use them up the tradesmans entrance-less messy, if you are drinking lots of water & spending lots of pennies you may find front entrance more messy!! Karen suggested on an earlier thread to do tradesmans in morning so no mess during day & other entrance in evening!! Hope this helps, oh the things we poor woman go through, when I come back Im deffo gonna come back a man!! thank god for this site... the things i have learnt!!!!! didnt know you could use "both" entrances, thanks for that sarah- all sounds lovely, the things we have to do

nikola- i cant get throught to the clinic (constantly engaged) but dh reacons to play it by ear as there's been nothing since (sorry to spoil your lunch!) and my scan is at 0750am tomorrow morning. kat - congratulations on your 4 eggs and best of luck tomorrow! july-ann- completely understand the knicker checkin pet, hang in there & best of luck talk to you soon hayley

Hi all July Ann - I have to phone clinic at 1pm tomorrow unless they have called me first. Will try and have a nice long lie in so the morning is shorter. Re pessaries, I asked this morning about the lying down for half an hour bit and was told I didn't need to but they also suggested the back passage so I'm going to try that one in the mornings this time round. Otherwise I am convinced a lot of it just comes out when you go for a wee. So - roll on 1pm tomorrow....unfortunately our tv lost all it's yellow & green colour on Monday (Ground Force isn't quite the same with brown grass!) and the repair man has taken it away this afternoon so I will just have to be on the computer to entertain mysef instead! Hi All Why am I the only one who only has to take 1 x 400mg pessary??? am slightly paranoid this could be why I never manage to get pg!! I don't trust anything LGI tell me anymore! What do the pessaries do anyway? Never really thought about it, just stuck it up my 'nunee' and gone to bed! I've had AF pains last night but convinced this was from eating too many Percy Pigs and then had a bit of stomach ache this morning but convinced this was hunger pains (not enough percy pigs!) Kat its fab news on the EC! As everyone has already said (and said to me when I didn't get hundreds!) it only takes one. Its sounds as if four was better than last time, so that is a good start! Hope you're all ok love nikola.xx

hi haley make sure you use the trades mans entrance night nad morning of ec as the need a clear entrance. if you know what i mean. oh kat have a nice lay in or do what i did and had lot's of mags to read in bed with trish on the tele. val my boobs hurt and i think this is a good sign as they did not last time and i got a negative.has anyone had wind problems as i feel really bad sometimes and i feel constipated.perhaps i'm giving you all to much info. just looked on the instruction for the pessary and it said it can cause wind,breast tenderness,weight gain,bloatedness and to top it all depression and a feeling of tension. sarah a lot of girls have got pg with no spotting, it is on one of the old threads. well speak soon july ann

Hi All, I'm just watching an interesting game of "cat chess" that is going on between my 2 cats. I have just been shouted at by my male cat (Leo) as he is most indignant that I am tapping away on the computer instead of getting his dinner. He is therefore intimidating our female cat (Tilly) who is half his size by hiding around the corner waiting to pounce on her as she walks by! Any way, enough of such nonsense, and back to pessaries!! My boobs always hurt when I am on the progersterone. I believe we take it as progersterone is the major hormone that supports pregnancy in the early stages. I too am suffering major wind, that I don't remember before. I pity my poor DH at night in bed with me!! I'm blaming my huge belly on them as well, it has nothing to do with lots of crisps and summer pudding I've been scoffing at all. As you will see from another thread I have just had a random panic about spicy food! Am feeling a bit more rational now so will go and cook some dinner (the first time I've really moved from bed since monday, I've been mega tired). I had better feed the cats first before world war three breaks out. Hang in there all you 2WWers. Good luck for ET to Kat and keep jabbing Hayley, hope all is well with your scan tomorrow.
