I check on this board so often you would think I am waiting to find a post that says..."YOU ARE PREGNANT. CONGRATULATIONS" hahahah...

Jackie...I wish you lots of pma and follie vibes for them to have a major growth spurt. Keep talking to them and tell them this is just unacceptable for them to be such late bloomers :)

p.s...so sad about croc hunter. So sad :(

Hi ladies,

Jackie, ggod luck with your follies. May they grow grow grow!!

Zirly, I was so shocked to see that about the Crocadile Hunter. They say it was such a freak accident. That should have never happened. :(

Mia, How are you feeling. We test te same day. What symptoms are you having if any? I have mild cramps, very bloated and boobs a little tender.

Just a couple days now. Good luck to you!!

Hello to all you septembies!!

Take care,
Jackie

Jackie, Test day is so close, yet soooo far away. I feel pretty good. No bad cramping, just slight bloating, slightly tender BBs. I've been really tired early in the evenings, which is unusual for me. I did the ugly cry today, just out of the blue. Definately a hormonal thing. DH was joking around about ripping off my estrogen patches, because I was having a hard time getting them off without it hurting as it pulled hairs. I guess I really didn't wan't him to pull it off and I was yelling "don't do it, don't do it" he pulled it off and I just started bawling uncontrolably. I funny thing is it didn't hurt at all. I felt so silly at that moment and started to laugh.

Aunty is right ladies, the HPT is evil! It will cause you stress. And stress is bad for the baby.

Hello ladies how are we all today.

I just thought I'd share a little inspiration story:-

I had a patient in today who went through 12 cycles of IVF. After years for BFN's and heartbreak she finally got pregnant on her last and final cycle. She had 8 eggs but only 2 survived to day 3 and were both grade B. She had then both put back and now has a gorgeous 2 year old boy!! She is 46 years old. Amazing.

have my BT tomorrow to check if I've down-regulated and hopefully will start stims tomorrow night.

haylie- when do you start stimming?

Hope everyone else is well

Good morning Ladies

Well i have been for my scan today and they were short staffed so the consultant was doing the BW. Anyway he says it will definately be Thursday for EC and ET on Saturday. At last. I feel so bloated now that I will be glad when they do the EC.

i hope that everyone else is going alright. Sorry I have not posted any personals for a couple of days but DH is off work as I haven't got much free time.

i will try to catch up soon

Angela

Morning Ladies:

Ange: What a lovely story, summit nice to wake up to :D Gives us all a bit of hope :) I dont think i will be going 12 cycles - i couldnt afford it for one, and hopefully we wont need to, cos this is gonna work this time round for all of us in Sept posting - YES LADIES ?????

Amd: Is time going by fast? Seems an age at this end lol

Jackie & Mia: Woooooooo Hooooooo ladies, not long now - how on earth have u coped so well? Sending loadssss of PMA & baby dust ur way :)
Mia: Sorry but i had a giggle at ur DH and the patch thingie, its ur homones all over the place

Lamb curry - hmmmmmmmmmmmm sounds so lushhhhh

Croc Hunter: Its so sad - i used to love wathcing him

Zirly: lol@ YOU ARE PREGNANT .... CONGRATULATIONS that also made me giggle this morning

As for the HPT: Ladies, honestly - i havent opened it yet and as i said in my earlier posting - i have no intention of opening it - i want to hold on to 'maybe i am' for a wee bit longer. I know this has no relavance at all - but when i gave up smoking (4 yrs ago) i did it by keeping a pkt of cigarettes on me all the time for a week, and even held an unlit cigarette in my hand when the cravings got worse - it sounds stupid i know, but thats how i did it - its temptation, but in a different form

Im sure ive got AF pains

On that note ladies, im off to work, will catch u all later, have a lovely positive day - keep that PMA up ....

Luv Becky Xxxxxx

Ange- that is such a lovely story what an amazing woman to have gone through 12!
I have to go for a scan and blood test on Friday to see if everything is on course and hopefully I will start stimming on Friday. I will be using menopur is Gonal F the name of the drug you will be using? Good luck tomorrow will be thinking of you. I hope you are feeling better x

Becky - that is really bad about the way your employer is let's hope you can just thrown it back in her face when you announce your BFP!

I agree with Emma about the peppermint tea, that was all I drank after my op to remove my tube, I was so full of gas and it really helped to settle my stomach

Nimble - Good luck for your scan tomorrow grow follies grow!!!!

Have a nice day all

Hello girlies

will do personal later...
just to let you know that I called my doc about leaving my puregon out all night and all day (i did not tell her i put it in the bin!!) and she said it was ok, even if it has been hot here. It would be bad to leave it in the car for exemple...

She also asked me next time I go for a scan (tomorrow) to do a dopler of - ok it is a translation from french so i am not sure it means anything- my womb arteries??? Do you know what it is?? and what for??

speak later girlies

Souris.

A doppler machine is what the midwife/dr would use to hear the heartbeat on an embryo. Maybe she wants to have a look at the lining of your womb?? but they can usually tell that from the transvaginal scan...so not too sure. Will be interesting to see what they say.

It is 2:42 a.m. where I live. I have been awake for HOURS. :( I cannot sleep. Hormones maybe? It isn't nerves...I don't even have anything in me (eggs or embies!) Maybe the progesterone.

Anyway...just thought I'd post

Morning Ladies...

I am having a bit of a bad morning, can't concentrate at work and all I can think about is whether those teeny embryos are implanting. If truth be told, I'm scared. We so want this to work, we've wanted to start a family for so long and have been through so many operations to get to this point. My friend is due to give birth on Thurs and I just can't help thinking what if we don't get our BFP, how will I face her?
This 2ww is hard, dude!
