Good news and scary news

Post by MB »

I just had my 8 week first ultrasound this morning. We had IVF earlier in August and my first beta was 158 and second beta at 21 days was 2400.

The good news -- our clinic saw two heartbeats. Both strong. ANd I am so grateful for this.

The scary news -- there appears to be a third sac on the side but they cannot tell if it is a baby or just a sac. What worries them is the location of the sac .. it is in a place where it can burst if it grows. We are headed for another ultrasound in a few hours.

Please pray for us and our babies.

MB,

I will be thinking about you and keeping all fingers and toes crossed. I am very excited that you heard two health heartbeats. I am not sure I understand the 3rd sac.

How many Embryos did you have transferred?

Parenting is synonymous with worrying.

MB, it looks like mostly good news. That third sac is a concern. Try your best to let the doctors do all the worrying. You pay them well for it. Try not to stress, as it can only make it worse. Best of luck.
