Hi everyone,

I go in for ET in 1 hour. Not sure how many they will recommend to put back. Im glad we are putting back 5 day blasts because it gave me some time to heal after ER.

I will be resting for the next couple of days.

Anna and Jen- Hope things are well.

Talk soon,
Jackie

Jackie, just checking in to see if you are OK. Hope ET went well and you are at home being pampered as your embies snuggle in.

Good luck on your 2ww, may the time fly by to a BFP!
Take care

Anna,

hi Jackie, glad to see you are OK. How many embies did you transfer? When is your test date?

When my embies were first transferred I just lay down for the rest of the day. We went out for a quiet meal that evening. Then the next day I had to fly back home from Barcelona. I didn't stay lying down when I got home just took things easy and didn't do any heavy lifting etc...I watched a lot of TV for a couple of days though.

There are lots of theories about how long you should stay lying down. What did your Dr say? I know Zita recommends 3 days bedrest. I think if you just take it easy you should be OK. Let Dh do housework and shopping. I went for walks and met with friends for coffee(?) and generally was a lady of leisure!

I have everything crossed for you. The 2ww, lets face it, is mental cruelty  , but you will get through it :) I would say to try and keep busy and take your mind of it. Easier said than done.

Loads of luck
Keep in touch
Hugs

HI Anna,

I had complete bed rest for 2 days and had to get up and about the 3rd.

My test date is the 7th of Sept. It sounds so far away :(

I have a metalic taste in my mouth and am very bloated, but I did not have any OHSS this time. The last 2 times I did.... Is that good or bad?

You said that you went with the girls for coffee? What are your thoughts on that? Zita says NO, but I have heard that if you drink a couple cups (16-20 oz) then it should not hurt you. What have you heard and are you drinking it? I love coffee so much!! :D

Glad to see that you are still feeling well. I hope it lasts for 8 months :D

Take care,

Jackie

Hi Jackie
hope you are Ok. Not long to go now. I saw your post about when to do a hpt. My experience has clouded my judgement maybe but please try and hang out for your beta!

About coffee, sorry I don't drink it! 'Going out with girls for coffee' is just an excuse to meet in a cafe and have a good old chinwag. I tend to drink water or very weak tea. If you really like coffee I don't see how a cup or 2 a day can harm you. Although I have reaad that you should drink decaf. Denying yourself all life's pleasures is only going to make you miserable. At this time you need to be relaxed and happy!

Signs and symtoms during the 2ww are a nightmare! During my second one my AF pains were so strong and 'normal' I was absolutely convinced it hadn't worked. The body plays some very mean tricks at this time. There really isn't anything you can do but wait aarrgghh!!!!

Sending you baby dust and loads of luck.
Thinking of you

Jackie

i ahev just logged on for the first time in 2 wks...i wish you a massive BFP tomorrow... thinking of ya and sendinfg tons of baby dust x x x

Anna- How are you doing today? I think it's okay that you don't have any symptoms...every pregnancy is differant...When my sister was preg with her son she had no symptoms but had mega when she carried both girls....please don't take this lituary...I think it's just the way you ( or any indidual) reacts to the extra hormones...For you carrying any sex of child may mean that you have no symptoms...hope i have explained this right...what i meean is DON'T WORRY, evrybodies pregnancy is different.

Hope being back at work is okay for you...make sure you look after yourself...thinking of you Mummy with baby in her tummy!!!! x x

we are moving in a weeks timeand i will be offline for the next couple of weeks ( OR until adam decides to re-set up the e-mail/broadband after our move....) excited and sad to be moving ...but now ready to move in to our new home...

catch ya soon girls...

Love jen
