I am breathing a bit easier - I had my 6 week, 1 day ultrasound today and they found a heartbeat of 124 bpm! I am thrilled obviously but can't manage to relax yet either! I want to put a ticker on my signature (didn't want to do it before for fear of jinxing the pregnancy) and went to the site tickerfactory.com but can't figure out what to do! Can anyone help me out??

It is so nice to hear everyone's stories.

Claudia don't be afraid, heven forbid something bad happens (I am saying a prayer for you and your baby) it will hurt. Adding a ticker tape and enjoying the momement now will help you relax. Try to enjoy this time, it will help you relax. Do lots of deep breathing, try to avoid stress. Tell your friends and dh even if you are moody and wrong grant you some leayway and don't push the matter.

Okay someone please tell these ladies how to add ticker tapes so they can sport those BFP!!!!

If I can remember correctly, you go to tickerfctory and create it. YOu cut and paste it into your profile under the BCC section. Then it is done. I might be mixing up where you paste it but I think that is it.

You said you frozen day 5 transfer of two embryos on 8/7/06 and took HPT 5 days after transfer that showed positive, what made you want to take a HPT 5days after transfer? Were you getting any symptoms or just wanted to take the test?

I ask becase I had a FET on Thursday 8/31 and was thinking about getting a test B4 my blood test on Monday. I am nervous about the results because I do not really feel anyhting, no sore boobs, nothing! I know everyone is different and most of the times symptoms do not come up until around 6 weeks, but was just hhoping for some kind of sign.[/quote]

Thanks for the congratulations! I feel quite sick to my stomach this morning so am happy about that. Excuse my techinical ignorance, but is the BCC section the same as the signature section? I can get as far as creating the ticker and copying the link but then can't figure out where to copy it to in my profile. I tried the webpage box but that didn't work.

No help here, I tried adding a ticker into my signature earlier and it did not work. I figured counting to each mile stone might help the time go by faster

I was on menopur, didn't respond too much despite being on the maximum dosage, everytime I went for u/s my overies were never doing as well as they would have liked, had to inject for a day more than the norm, I had two ebryos transfered on day 3, one and 7 cell and one a 5 cell (if I remember correctly), only had to stay on the bed for 20 minutes after transfer (though I couldn't last that long as I was dying for a wee!). Had to stand on the tube for an hour and a half on the way home.

I rested for 2 days, was told no physical activity, no swimming (cholorine can cause infection), no flying, no sex and take it easier for the 2 weeks. I started retail therapy on the second week!

My clinic don't do betas unless you have a positive HPT at 16 days post transfer, I started doing the HPT's 7 days post and only got the positive on day 10. I think I did 16 tests in total (I bought a batch of Ebay which we really cheap!).

My first beta 16dpt was 344 and the second one 20dpt was 3114 (or around about). We have one happy little beanie in there.

I was cramping from EC until about week 11. The progestone shots were awful. I will say I found IVF one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I told DH I wouldn't go through it again if it hadn't worked but luckily we don't have to.

Claudia I can see you managed to do your ticker from the pregnant after treatment board, well done it suits you!
