anyone else have spotting during early weeks of twin pregnan

I have been spotting for almost a week. I am 6wks 1day. After a real big scare last week with cramping and spotting, the RE got me in for a scan on Tuesday. I was set for the worst, but within 30 seconds he told me there were 2 babies, both in great places, and each one had the yolk sac...which he said was spectacular. He measured them both.....they GA was 6 weeks which is right on schedule. He told me not to worry about the spotting because it is light and dark brown colored. My cramps feel like AF cramping. I feel great....because I was really worried about everything before Tues. Just wanted some reassurance if anyone else had these things happen to them!

Even I had the same symptoms. The only thing was I bled for more than 2 months. From week 2-12 of the pregnancy. I am 14 weeks and even now sometimes I get some spotting. Just take it easy.

Hi Michelle.

It's so worrying when it happens, but it's amazing how many women do bleed/spot.

I was one of those. With my son, I bled/spotted on and off until around 14 weeks - sometimes brown, red, clots and cramps... this time, I spotted on and off until about 16 weeks - it's stressful, but hopefully it'll soon pass. Just take it easy when it does happen abd if in any doubt, call the dr.

Gushing bright red blood for me at 12 weeks with twins. Scared me like crazy! But when I was checked the babies were just fine. It lasted about a week, then nothing after that. They say it's "not a big deal" (hard to believe that when it happens to you though!).

Sounds like you don't need to worry, especially since yours is light and dark brown...and your doctor said all looks well.

For my sanity I put my feet up and rested as much as possible. Not doctors orders. But it couldn't hurt and it made me feel like I was doing everything possible to prevent a problem...it gave me peace of mind.

i'm spotting today and crampy. i was hospitalized this week for dehydration from a stomach infection. we are 9 weeks pregnant and heard a healthy heart beat but I'm really worried and praying for health and safety. your stories are reassuring.

I started spotting days before my BFP and didn't stop until my 7th week after I stopped taking progesterone. My babies are fine and I am now 12 weeks pregnant. Hope your pregnancy goes as well : )

Try not to worry, I also experienced a couple months of bleeding and cramping..get plenty of rest and take it easy
