Hi Everyone,
I am a nervous wreck!! I have been on Follistim for about 10 days. I went to the doctors yesterday and had a ultrasound I have about 18 follicles. The sizes range from 10-17. I went for more blood work today and my doctor just called to tell me my levels are really high so I have to go for ER on Saturday. I did not expect this to happen so fast!! I am just worried that my follicles are not big enough. I just need someone to tell me I'll be ok

10-12 days of stimulation is pretty typical. 18 follicles is perhaps a little above average among all IVF patients.

Sounds about right to me.

They said your "levels are really high"? Did they mention your progesterone?

Hi Ghost,
They said my level yesterday was 1400 and today it doubled. I'm not sure what they are talking about. I just took my HCG shot and ER will be Sat. Thanks for the info. Jenn

That must be your estradiol, sometimes called E2.

1400 is pretty typical E2.
