Hi Nicola,

I am not actually a member of this thread but not sure really which thread I belong too!!!!
The reason I am writing to you is because I just read your last post and you almost described the way I am feeling exactly!!!
I am 26 and have PCOS, I was on clomid for 9 months with no success and then had 3 cycles of IUI again with no success and now I just had my first cycle of IVF cancelled in august and have had the hardest time dealing with it emotionally and I too look around at baby things and think that it should be me and I am ready now!!!!!!
I hope that this is a thread I can join as it would be great to get to know all of you, I am AF day 3 and I have to go to the hospital on 25th September and will hopefully have a blood and scan so that I can start my next cycle, which I thought should be around the same time as you?
I am quite new to these boards so if i am in the wrong thread let me know and I will keep searching for where I belong! haha
I am wishing everybody BFP's and am sending lot's of baby dust to those longing for a baby as much as I am.

Take Care
Cheeky Monkey :)

Jordan--I hope you have your plan and it is wonderful!!!! I always feel better when I have a plan!!

Nance--So glad you had your class, I think the class is always overwhelming but when it comes to the real thing its not so bad. The progesterone shots are a bear but Jordan says her hubby puts a really hot wash cloth (as hot as you can stand) on her bum and that really is the best way!! That way the PIO doesn't clot up and make a knot on your bum!! ouch!!

Aunty-- I meant to post earlier that I always do the HCG and that is the hormone you produce when your preggers so I think it is fine!!

Nictor--I am always looking a baby stuff too, wishing and hoping!! Hang there our time is coming!!!

We are leaving Thursday afternoon to go see hubbys brother. They had a baby the day I found out I lost my little girl... Hubby and his brother haven't always got along. I have always blamed it on my MIL (I don't have time or words to describe her) Lets say she is a piece of work and very selfious person! I have always thought she like keeping them apart so she could be in the middle and know everything. Anyway I think hubby's brother has finally seen thru his mother and saw the light. They have been asking us to come out to visit and see the baby and have asked several times. So I finally decided that we would go and see how it goes. I know hubby would love to have a relationship with his brother and I hope that it goes well. I want to see the baby but some days I don't! I know it is going to be hard on us both. The other night his brother called and they put hubby on speaker phone so Cailin(the baby) could hear Michael(hubby) and he could hear her jabbering and when he got off the phone and came into where I was I could see it in his eyes that it bothered him and upset him a little... I hate seeing that look on his face, I so want to be able to give him a child, he is so good and loving to me.

I kind of got to going there... I will be out of pocket from Thursday till the following tuesday. Will try to keep up as much as possible.

If the list gets behind, I will catch up as soon as I can. Please don't get your feelings hurt or offended if I miss you or forget something. Just bring it to my attention and I will fix it!!! If anyone is willing to help me with it, I will be more than happy to send you my file that I use!!!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!!

Hi Jeck,

Just wanted to thank you for adding me to the thread! so thanks!!!!!
I know what you mean about seeing other babies, I find it really hard as my brother and his wife had a baby recently and then my sister in law and her partner had one two weeks later, I love all my Nieces and Nephews to pieces but it doesn't make it any easier when we go to see them!
Me and DH are going to our nieces christening next weekend and we are godparents which is great but also very hard cause I want to be stood there with my own baby!!
I hope the visit goes well for you and that you can keep your PMA up, just remember that it will soon be your turn :)

Good Evening Ladies.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Jeck - Thank you for the updated list. I hope you have a great time. I know how hard it is to be around babies. But just keep having faith that one day that would be you. . . because I'm sure it will be for all of us.

CheekyMonkey - Welcome. I am glad you could join us.

Rachael - Welcome back. We have missed you. Hope you have a great time on vacation.

My DH and I are leaving to take my Father In Law out for dinner for his birthday but I just wanted to check in quick before we left.

I hope everyone has a great night.

Take care,
Nance

To all those who have come through this so far, I extend my sympathies. You are all strong warriers in this battle for what we all want.

Now for me to be selfish!
Has anyone else taken Estradiol before a cycle. My RE wants me to take it and he stated I will not take the Lupron shots. If you have undergone this, how was the sucess. I believe he chose this because my FSH was 10.4 and I have reactive MTHFR. He has finally confirmed that I have the high homocystiene levels to go with the MTHFR. He said this is rare but fully treatable. I am very nervous about Thursday because that is when he will be giving me my calendar. Anyway, back to the Estradiol, he has me taking this until AF appears (around the 20th or so), then I will jump into the stims. I guess this is a variation of the flare protocol, but I have not heard anyone else mention a similar protocol.

Thanks,

Racheal

Hi Nance,

Thanks for the welcome, it's great to have everyone at hand who is going through the same thing.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that I am able to have my down reg injection at the end of september, have you been given a date for anything yet? Sorry if you have already said but I am still trying to remember who is where in their cycles!
Hope you had a nice meal with your father in law!

Hey lady's...
Jordan made me laugh i could hear him saying that...LOL and yeah Get errr done ... :D

Jeck i feel for you i really do i hope it goes really well on all levels with your BIL and that you find when you see the baby its not as bad as you think they have a way of helping you to look past anything else (maybe your too busy stopping them eating lego or putting toast in the video player) but your time is near to be blessed yourself ...

Racheal i have hear of a flare cycle its great and works really well i have read its used mainly on poor responders it cuts out the Downregging and can have a much better response than using Lupron im excited for you...lets see loads of healthy follies

Good Evening Everyone,

Well I did it. I gave myself my first Lupron injection and I have to say that it was a easy. I did not have any problems. Of course I was so neurotic about making sure my hands were clean I washed them about 5 times. One down, many to go

I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Cheeky Monkey - No worries, I have problems keeping track of everyone here also. I started Lupron today and have an apointment with my RE on Tuesday for my Mock and an endometrial biopsy. BTW I love your user name. Is there a story behind it?

Jordan22 - Did you get your calendar?

Jeck - Thanks for the tip on the progesterone shots. I will make sure to do that. All ready to begin your Lupron tomorrow? You must be excited to get started.

Have a good evening everyone.
