Im back...

Debz, i forgot to ask u. I read ur post about gatoraid with OHSS. What is Gatoraid? Is it sport drink?

What the relation between Gatoraid n OHSS? Is it to prevent OHSS? When do we start to drink it?

Now Im panick... Thanks a lot Debz.

Ems: Dont panic! I dont think its too late for implantation, it all depends doesnt it on how long ur embies decide to take to get there? I dont have no sore boobies either, and no more AF pains, but i dont have the brown discharge, i think i almost wish i did - to me it sounds good. Go into main thread and ask in there also - Im praying hard for u hunnie

well I must have the slowest growing follies in the world! Another dissapointing day and feel very disheartened but know that every thing is done for a reason.

Back in on Wednesday for another scan and pencilled in now on Friday for my EC !! Third time lucky!!

Good news is I have yet another later contender and have 7th little one growing on my left side.

Has anyone else had this problem??

Hope everyone is well today - at work - juggling my diary yet again, so this is a short and sweet post.

Emma,

Try not to worry too much. I had brown on my last one too and ok I was a BFN but my clinic did say that it is also very common in successful pregnancies, especially IVF. I read Zita West's book and she says this too that brown can mean success. It's when it turns red that they're may be a problem because it can mean the neck of the womb is open and ready to expel.

I think you will be fine honey. Keep up PMA.

Good morning everyone.
Wow I have only been away for a night and this site has been so busy.

We have had a lovely night away. This morning I was fine but within the last half an hour I have started with pains on my left side. I guess that this is probably OHSS coming on as the doctor did say I was a very high contender for having it as I had so many eggs and my hormone level was high. I just wanted to ask the girls who have done IVF before when the OHSS came on. We are now on day 4 after EC and I think that is the prime day for it to start. Also how far after transfer does the embryo start to implant as the doctor also said that the OHSS would be worse if the embryos stuck around, which would be a good sign.

Well I have got myself loads of water to drink and I am off to lie down. Hopefully i will post more later if this passes.

Angela Welcome back.... i have heard the same thing about OHSS getting worse after the baby attatches...i know ohss came on about two days after ec...please be very careful in monitoring your breathing other than that its lots of water and some sort of sports drink works wonders too...

Jemima you drink the sports drink after everything else if you get OHSS so you have ages yet nothing to worry about for a few weeks i suppose you can drink it after EC to see if it will stop some of the OHSS...dont forget not everyone gets it so you may be lucky

Ems dont panick i have heard ladys talking about spotting up to 12 weeks along it could be your little ones sunggling in .....not long to go now...thinking of you

Good morning gals. Well...my PMA is gone. I just never "felt" it since they put it in. They messed with my embies so badly (if you remember they biopsied them twice...UNHEARD of!) And I just know tht caused problems and damaged the emby.

It is 4dp5dt and although that is way early...they put in a hatching blast so it really should have stuck right away if it was gong to. And if so...I would feel and see somethng by now (been preggo so many times). I poas (i know i know)...but I ALWAYS do this. I am a poas addict. And nothin...and I use the most sensitive kind. So...I am pretty much out but I will stick around here.

Not to mention...my emotions are BAD from these hormones. I want to rip the patches off and stop with the injections of progesterone. It is like poison.

Sorry to be such a downer.

Zirly hunnie,

Its not over till the fat lady sings U've tested way too early hun. I know u think that they shud have attached by now - but remember, it take a few days for the HGC to travel thru ur body and into ur 'pee'
Ive tested again myself today, i am on a 10dp2dt, and mine is still a no no - but i havent given up hope, and neither should you.
All those things u told me the other day were so true - so please DONT give up hope hun, and tell me - what do u think u would be feeling or seeing by now???
If we're meant to feel summit or see summit - then im out of the game too, cos i aint. I dont feel no different - but what i do feel is - great. I feel really healthy for the first time in ages. maybe thats a bad sign im not sure (this is the first time ive done this) but as i said - im NOT giving up hope, and neither ARE ANY OF US giving up hope on u either. its not over till the fat lady sings - and i certinately aint started singing yet !!!!

(You wouldnt want to hear me if i did lol)

So hun, keep ur chin up - throw out those tests, and keep smiling, we're all praying for u

Zirly - don't give up you have to have faith and get that PMA back -easier said than done I know hang on in there. To everyone on their 2ww I am sending lots of hugs and love and hoping and praying you all get your BFP!!

Nims - don't be disheartened hun, you'll get there before you know it Friday will be here and you'll be having your EC.

Deb(miracle) - you won't be in a better place than amongst all these special ladies they really are the best. I start stimming tomorrow wey hey!

DH took me out on Sat and we ending up buying me a new car, I pick it up on Thurs can't wait, it is also really nice to have something else to think about for a change. I have been really emotional and crying over the weekend, I don't know if it's the drugs, the pressure of it all or because I am just so tired!!

ZIRLY......NO NO NO NO you are not allowed to give up im sorry we just wont have it at all....you say your littel one must have gotten damaged in all the pocking i say wow your little one went on to become a beautiful little sheblast inspite of all the messing with ....also Becky is right i know she was 5days old when she went home but she still needed time to settle in she may show in blood right now but its way too early for it to be detectable in pee....you need to give her at least another two days to even think about seeing anything

on mass we are sending you all our pma i cant wait for her to prove you wrong....shes a little fighter...

Jemima hun i dont know why or how sports drinks help at all its just last cycle sooo many ladys had a case of OHSS and i remember they said it was fantastic the way it helped with the swelling i know im going to get some ...in moderation dont drink too much of it though dont want your embie/s on a sugar high.

Nimble slow growing follies are good follies means there is more going on in there .. zirly forgive me but wernt your follies slow at first?? im sorry it seems so long ago now, im old so i forget things...lets send you some follie dust and spur them into action...EC friday sounds great ...thinking of you

i'll tell you they were little terrors today giving cramp like pains all day.

Something that Becky said in another thread about having some sort of home test (don't mean a hpt). My clinic is the same as Ems where by I just have to do a HPT and wondering whether thats enough considering some of the things being said on here.... just a thought!!
