I don't know how this happened but BC and Lupron messed up my body so much... :( I've been waiting for AF for 2 weeks now if not longer. I can't wait to start my cycle again. Sorry for the short post, just wanted to complain.

Good Afternon Everyone.

I hope everyone is doing well.

KF'06- I'm so sorry you are having problems. You have every right to complain, that is so frustrating. What did your Dr. say? Is that normal?

Jordon22 - I'll keep my fingers (and everything else I have) crossed that your calendar will come in today.

Aunty - Thank you for updated the list.

AMD - Welcome and good luck with your upcoming cycle.

Talk to everyone later.

Take care,
Nancy

Hi again,

I have a question for all those in the group who have been through the IVF process before. I am concerned about the transfer because my RE said that you need a full bladder and after the transfer I have to stay laying down for 1hr. Not to give TMI but I am the type of person who needs to get up three times a night to use the ladies room and when I had my IUI I found that part to be horrible and I only had to lay down for 10 minutes after that. I don't know how I am going to last the whole hr. Is there anything they do during the transfer to help with that? Like give you a bedpan or anything (sorry for being gross)? Believe it or not this is my biggest concern at this point. Any advice???

Thank you.

Hey Girls-

AMD welcome and good luck! If you don't mind my asking... what drugs do you have to do when you do a FET? It's not as many as a fresh cycle right?

Nance- wow an hour you have to lay there? I think I only have to be there 30 min. I didn't know about the full bladder thing, this is my first time. I am not looking forward to that! Way to go on giving yourself your lupron injection, you'll be a pro at it before you know it

KF 06- moan and groan away! I am the queen of complaining so I'm sure you will hear it from me eventually. That is a bummer. What does the doc say? One of my big fertility problems is that I don't have a regular period. The year we got off the pill and started trying I only got like 6 periods, 2 of them my doctor had to start for me. That is how we figured out I rarely ovulate on my own. Which makes it hard to get pregnant! Needless to say I know what it is like to wait for what seems like an eternity for AF! It'll happen!

Well, my drugs come tomorrow. I never thought I'd be so excited to be receiving a ton of needles in the mail!! yippy!!

take care everyone- :D

Thank you everyone for your support. It's frustrating for me because my periods were always +/- 2 days and now it has been more than 2 weeks! The nurse keeps on saying: "you will get it soon". She said it happens after BC, plus my cyst..... But I had been on BC for about 4-5 years before and didn't have anything like that. I guess, it's Lupron to blame. I'm going to my aerobics/dance class tonight, so I'll try to work out really hard and hopefully AF will arrive soon :)

Jenn, don't freak out when you see the box with drugs. Well, I did. There were so many of them and all those needles! I was horrified that I wouldn't know what goes with what. The nurse or doctor will explain everything and not once.

Nance- Just wanted to reply to your post. I know every clinic does different things and you have to take their advice. On my first cycle I had to have a full bladder, but after the drive there and being told to wait about 20 mins in reception when I arrived I had to give in a go to the loo! Was paranoid that this would harm my chances but turns out the full bladder is only if they need to scan you during ET which they didn't with me in the end anyway! Also after transfer they told me to get straight up and go and get changed. Didn't think that was good either but as you can see it didn't do me any harm. I know its easy to say but try to just take their advice, as they are probably used to us ladies saying we can't hold on any longer!!
Hope this helps.
haven't got time to reply to everyone but hope your well

Hi Again,

Casey - Thank you so much for responding to my post. It was so helpfull. Especially since it worked out so well for you. I am so worried that if I do the slightest thing wrong and it does not work I know I will blame myself. But now that I know that it worked for someone without the full bladder and after getting up directly after I feel so much better.

Hey Nance..you have every right to be worried as if after all the prodding we can then sit for an hour with a full bladder...now when they say full bladder my clinic says they mean your bladder must be full enough that you can feel you will need to go but not bursting to go...like imagine your on the highway and there is a toilet stop the next one will be 25 miles could you hold it for that long then thats full enough if you couldnt hold it then your bladder is too full...hoep that helps...i have heard some clinics empty your bladder for you i wish mine would do that i may askl them....

good luck Debz
