Mia - I am so very sorry! I was really hoping that you would have gotten a BFP. You are such a trooper with such a positive attitude! That positive attitude along with nurturing yourself (and your DH) will make all of the difference the next time you try. Spend the next few weeks/months or whatever time it takes until you are ready to start again just relaxing, not stressing and taking care of yourselves. You'll know when you are ready to start again. Stay strong and keep up the positive attitude! You are in my thoughts.

Newbie_rose - Welcome aboard. Good luck with your pregnancy test on Monday. Sending baby dust your way.

Rittie - Glad to see that you are doing better. Don't feel badly about ranting or venting your frustrations, that is why we are here. We are all here for you.

Ladies - I had a blood test done yesterday to see how I was doing on the stims. I hadn't heard from them by 4 pm so I was thinking things were status quo. Well about 10 minutes later my phone rings and it was the center. It turns out my estrogen levels were a little on the low side so my RE increased the dosage of the stims. I'll get another blood test done on Monday and hopefully my levels will be where they should be.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Hopeful- I am so sorry about your BFN. Your DH said the same thing my DH said to me, "It's not over". That really helped me. I admire your PMA. Taking time off sounds like a good idea. I'm starting another cycle Oct/Nov. Maybe we can be cycle buddies again! Take good care of yourself!

Rittie,

I understand whatyou are going through. Once I got my positive I never thought of the next step. I am such a planner and all of a sudden I did not know what to do. Weird as I knew what to do if I got a negative.

I have been very relaex though as I have every syptom so I had no fear that something was wrong. I do have morning sickness but it hit about 71/5 weeks. I am also still on a lot of progesterone and my doctor says that is why I have so many syptoms and the level of nausia. He is weening me off so hopefully I feel better. Don't freak if you do not feel much, many people don't and mine appears to be the drugs.

Embrace this time and feel good your body responds!

BEst of luck to the rest. I am pulling for you all!!!

Hopeful - I was saddened to see your post, but your great PMA was wonderful and inspiring! What a great DH you have there - enjoy your 'break time' together and I look forward to seeing your BFP here in the future! We'll get there, I know it!

Newbie_Rose – Good luck with ur test!!!

Jemima- Thanks dear. I was scared due to my High FSH. My regular gynecologist suggested Donor eggs and another RE also told me that chances of getting through using my own eggs are low.. I still wanted to try and give them a chance. My RE(IVF) told me that the main positive factor is my age. It worked :) I am sure it will work for u as well. I am praying for u.

Mia- We read somewhere that wheat grass consumption lowers one’s FSH level. My problem was of High FSH level, therefore I started taking wheat grass shots. Though they didn’t taste good and taste of my mouth used to get spoiled for few hrs after drinking it. I thought there was no harm trying it. I am not sure what worked but I'll recommend people with HIGH FSH problem to drink it.

Rittie2000 – Thanks for the wishes. I am very very happy for u :) Enjoy the 2 little ones !!!

Alicia - that's great! That is just in a couple of weeks! I am just waiting for my AF to arrive and then I will be on BCP for a couple of days and then injections. Looks like we will be on the same schedule! Image

Champa, this was really a gift from god, if they were giving you 15 % chance. I am so happy for you!! Image I am 32 as well and they keep telling me I am still considered young for this.

Newbie_Rose - cannot wait to hear from you today!!!! Good luck! Image

Hope everyone else is having a great Monday! Image

Lola- Yes, we are very young to have such problems and medical science doesn't know what's the reason of early appearance of this problem. My gynecologist just told me that I am one of the unlucky ones to have this problem :(

In my home country our gynecologists suggest that one should have all our kids before we turn up 30. I never believed them. Now I do.

U R too young for any such problems. It will definitely work for u.

Alicia- Just few more days. That's great. Keep healthy and relax as much as u can.

At my end, today was my 2nd BT. I was keeping my finger crossed all through the day. All the readings came out good. HCG number increased as expected :) As per the reading I am carrying 1 healthy baby. I am very excited and now I am waiting for my next Ultra Sound on 26th Sept.

Lola / Alicia - I was hoping to be with you guys, but my RE must have a very different schedule after -ve IVF result. I think I'll be behind you guys by a few weeks or so.

I have to wait for the second AF to start, then start BCPs a few days after that. Then on about day 19 or so into the BCPs, I start the lupron and finally stims about 10 days after that! So, for me, if all goes well, I'll start lupron sometime in the second week of October, and stims 10 days later....Plus, DH is going out of town on business in November, so we have to work around his stuff too. so ER/ET aren't somehow timed when he's away...eek! The nurse said as soon as I start next AF to call her and we'll look at my next calendar. We're trying to get one more done this year since I've paid through the deductible for my medications and so meds in cycle #2 and this cycle (if we start prior to 1/1/07 will be paid!)

I also had some questions for you all about 'assisted hatching' and ovulation after IVF....but I'll post 'em separately, so as not to complicate this post.

Champa - Great news on BT #2. How do you know it's a singleton?

hey everyone! thanks so much for your caring words and support. it looks like many of us are still cycle buddies :) . I am sceduled for my FET the week of Oct 29th. I may be a little behind, but I think some of you will have transfer around this time.

I have a cycle review with my RE tomorrow. I'm anxious to hear what he knows. I have questions too. I have eczema and right after I started estrogen I started to rash. I'm not sure if I have it, but I've read that eczema may be related to immunological issues. Immunological problems may cause implantation problems. I know that my eczema breaksout from allergies and stress. I don't know if I have immu. problems but I do know I had some stress during my cycle.
My stress was, 1) my dog being really sick. 2) Drama; My DH's brother had his kids taken away by Child protective services, his Mom was the one who reported them, we sent money help out the kids, which we can't afford, but their parents are deadbeats. 3) We had a house guest that is much like a man child. He ate a ton, at our cost and spread his stuff all over my house. It really was like having a teenage boy in the house and I was quite annoyed. Fortunately I don't have a job I have to go to right now. Imagine juggling all that! Sorry for my rant. I am getting it together though. I should be all better by the end of Oct. I even ordered a meditation for infertility audio CD. I can't wait till I can start to relax.
