Hi everyone have missed you all! I'm at work right now so this will have to be quick. Just wanted to pop in and let you all know I am thinking of you. I have now had 3rd donor insem - on Monday just there which means my test date will be around the 26th/27th. Have avoided the boards as i reallly have felt that I've needed some time out as this is my 3rd 2 week wait since in 2 months! And I have really needed to just get on with life and try and not think of what dh and I are going through.

As we have to use up our donor supplies by next June (and we have 6 left) I really can't afford to have many (or any) months off so just trying to keep an "even" head every month! Any tips or suggestions to avoid going crazy??

I will catch up and do peronals over the weekend but until then I send you all mega hugs and baby dust xxxx

Hey Lisa, good to hear from you again! I wish you lots of baby dust this time. I know, it's so hard to deal with a BFN. I went through 11 years of it before my daughter, now 3.5 years of it. But, the day will come.

By the way, I'm reading a great book called, "Mixed Blessings" by Danielle Steele (sp??) . It's about 3 different couples going through infertility. I recommend all of you gals to read it.

I went for the day21 Progesterone level check today and it was 37.4. It's alot higher this month than last month @ 22.8. I hope that's a good sign. Anyway, my RE was happy with it saying that was excellent. Anyone with any knowledge on what progesterone levels should be???

the big ones are only 12-14 mm but its a start, the rest are around 10mm I dont know when iui is beacause I need some 20 mm ones

I took a hpt this morning, I know way too early, but I wanted to make sure the hcg shot had left my system so that when it does turn positive, I know it's not from the shot. The test was negative which is what I was hoping. I probably will test again Mon or Tues.

Em - haven't heard from you in awhile. Are you getting anxious about starting IVF? If this IUI doesn't work for me this time, I'll probably be cycling with you on IVF.

Nicki, have you decided if you will be using clomid this next IUI cycle? If you can O w/o it, I don't blame you for not using it. Best of luck.

Not really sure whats happening with my body since last IUI......I have started bleeding today, my last period was only 16 days ago, something weird is going on........

Need to spk to my Doctor I think.....

after the bleed on the last iui, on the 16th Aug,(only one day of bleeding) I then bleed again on the 31thAug (which the GP said was miscarriage, and now 16 days after I am bleeding again.......

Would this be right, If i miscarried, how does it effect the cycle....I am so confused!!! So i have no idea when i am really due or anything, and feel so outta of control, I always know my cycle so well. Not any more!

So now do i call this day 1 and wait for next bleed before starting iui again.... Who knows????

Hi evrybody!
I am an IUI girl too. I just received my 2nd cycle of IUI. I had one cycle with Clomid alone. My second cycle with Clomid and 2IUI's and this last cycle with Clomid and IUI. I am hoping and trying to stay calm but the doctor believs that my chances are slim because the 2 good sized follicles that I produced were on my right side. My right tube is blocked and in the ultrasound it showed that my tube was lying underneath my uterus. My docotr told me that sometimes the eggs can be picked up by the other side but because of the location of my tube this cycle it is less than likely. If this cycle does not work, I will be having a laparoscopy next month to see if they can repair my damaged right tube as well as to search for anything else that could possibly be inhibiting my ability to conceive. Has anyone been through similar things?
Good luck to everyone else on this site whi is struggling. It is so nice to know that there rae poeple out there that are going through the same things although I wish it was diferrent for all of us.

Welcome to the IUI thread Cori. I've not had a tube repaired but I have had a couple laproscopies to remove cysts and my rt ovary. Don't give up hope yet on this cycle, those eggs have a mind of their own...

Nicki, I'm sorry you're going through such an ordeal. It sounds like either the "miscarriage" has messed up your cycle or you may not have ovulated this month. Have you contacted your doc yet? I would guess that you would count this as your day one but wait and see what they say.
