Good morning to everyone

Aunty, Thank you again for maintaining our list. My test date is September 25th if you would like to add it. That does seem very late as it will be 17dp2dt. It is an ideal day for us though as it is a monday and we are off work on Mondays so wont have to face anyone all day.

Ange - Good to see you back and good luck with EC

Zirly - Keep up the PMA. I know what you mean about lifting. We have to go back to work tommorow and I am really worried about it. My clinic wanted to sign me off for the next 2 weeks but there are only 3 of us work her, me, DH & our assistant. As we have been off for a week our assistant announced last night that she is going to be off for wed, Thur & Fri. We have got the biggest event of the year on on Saturday so if I was off DH would have to prepare for it all on his own which is impossible. However I worry that when I go back there will be so much to do that I wont be able to take it easy. I just hope that the embrios have started to stick with some very sticky stuff and can ride the storm.

Jemima - Good luck with your treatment. You are very brave to travel to have it.

Miralce and tigergirl. Welcome to the family on here. You are most welcome. Good luck with your treatment.

Becky and Ems. Good luck for Friday. I really really hope you get what you want.

Ems - We are NHS funded but we do get a blood test. I think different areas offer different levels of funding. We were initally told we would only be funded for IVF, but on the day of EC they said that we could have ICSI and the NHS would pay for it, which we had always thought we would have to pay for. Can you talk to your GP. Maybe they could do the test as a blood test for you.

Jackie - congratultaions.

Mia& Rose - I am so sorry that this was not the right time for you. Take care.

Vickie - Good luck with testing tommorow.

As for me I have still got pains in my tummy, but am drinking tons of water to try and keep OHSS at bay. I have got one more day off work so I am just going to take it very easy today.

Talk later
Angela

Hey everyone - I'm back!

Jackie so pleased to hear your nes and sorry to Mia and Rose - fingers crossed for next time x x x

i had a really nice relaxing break until yesterday (monday). I woke up and when i went toilet and wiped it was brown!! I had it all day yesterday and still again today when i've woke up.

All i wanted to do yesterday was come home but it was really hard as we were with DH's family and they don't know anything - i cried all day - they could so tell there was something wrong.

So for me... i'm sure its all over and AF is about to arrive full flow. i phoned the hosp and they told me still to test on thiurs if i have no red blood but i really don't see the point plus, i think i will def have red blood by then coz i have this horrible brown stuff now!!!

i'm so annoyed! - i'll post again l8r - sorry to be so down and dampen all your spirits.

Vickie, honey - please try not to worry too much. I have had exactly the same thing. Monday woke up with brown in my panty liner, then when I wiped - this lasted all morning then stopped. I freaked out but then decided it could be a good thing as the clinic said it could happen when the embryo implants. It happened again this morning, and I have got some cramping, but again, this could be a good sign. Please try not to worry - its not over by a long shot. Keep up that PMA. :)

Hi. It is the middle of the night here and I cannot sleep. But most of you are up and about so I thought I'd read!!

Vicki: Do NOT worry about the brown blood. Brown is "old" As long as it is not bright red and flowing...the ballgame is not over.

Angela: Try to take it as easy as possible and let DH do any lifting at work. But you know...I do beleive if they stick they stick and there isn't
a darn thing we can do to un-stick em!

Rosse: I am just so sorry to hear about you BFN. Keep up your spririts. We are thinking of you.

Ok...gotta try to get back to sleep here.

PMA!

Dont get me wrong - im really pleased for Vickie & u Ems, but i cant help thinking, if thats what ur meant to get then its all over for me!
I actually feel really healthy - the best i have felt in a long long time - prob the drugs comming out of my body, and my AF getting ready. Dont shout at me (lol) i just have 'this feeling'
Its not over till the fat lady sings - but i think she is warming her voice up for me

Becks - where's that PMA gone?
There is no hard and fast rules - every person is different. Although mine and Vickie's brown discharge COULD be implantation there is also a chance it isn't. My clinic said that I may get a brown discharge around the time of implantation (which would have been last Tues btw!) but that not everyone gets it and not to worry if I did or didn't get it.
The only way you are going to know whether you have been successful is by doing the dreaded test on Friday. Until then, please try to stop fretting, and get that PMA back up. We're in this together girl and I won't let you give up yet!
Big Hugs

Becky,

I NEVER get implantation bleeding. I have been preggo five times...none of which have I ever seen implantation bleeding. On my last pregnancy (which was actually a success)...I felt NOTHING. NADA. No symptoms. It FREAKED me out cause I have had many miscarriages...but he came out nine months later...so he WAS there!

Everyone is different. Everyone will feel things differently. Try to keep up your PMA (though I know it is hard...trust me!)

But I have also not had any implantation bleeding this go around...and my emby should have WELL implanted by now since it was a "hatching blast" the day they put it in me. NADA. Barely any discharge either. No signs, no symptoms. So...let's "feel good" and hopeful together.

Becky, Becky Becky - where is your PMA girl....go and find it!! As Zirly says everyone is different and have different signs and the fact that you have nothing, zelch, nada is good too. Easy to say but you have 3 more sleeps to go and the wait will nearly be over and you will be jumping for joy on Friday :D :D :D

sorry can't help you on the other bit....!!!

Vickie /Ems - agree with Zirly about brown being old blood - reading Zita West last night and you all need visualise you little ones snuggling in and get ready for that BFP! She says you have to push away negative thoughts so keep up the PMA!! (plse remind me when I'm on my 2ww)

Vickie - good luck tomorrow xx

Tigergirl - I started stimming on Aug 29th and as of yesterday I have 7 follies. 5 on the left and 2 on the right. The biggest so far is about 16mm with the smallest going down to 8mm. Back in for a scan tomorrow so will know if I'm in for EC on Friday or not.... this time I'm not counting on it as they keep moving me!

Ange - nice to see you back.

hi to everyone else I have missed.

Hello,

Sorry to butt in on your thread but it's hard to stay away!

Becky, I have never experienced implantation bleeding. Some people will have spotting/dark discharge all the way through their pregnancies and some people don't even get any symptoms at all. The majority of symptoms don't start until around week 6.

My friend was a size 8/10 weighing 8 stone, she went into hospital with tummy pains and came out with an 8lb little girl. She didn't even know she was pregnant! She had periods, no symptoms at all, nothing - difficult to believe when you've had children but it's true!

I've read lots of your posts and you are always full of pma so get it back. As for the rumpy pumpy I'm sorry to say my clinic advised against sex until after the first scan which is usually at around 7/8 weeks and that includes any kind of sexual activities on your behalf anyway

I'm really sorry for those of you who got a BFN but don't give up.

Good luck to the rest of you, there's a few of you testing this week, I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

Best of luck to you all where ever you are in your treatment.

Jo

Hello everyone. Well the last 2 days have been a bit of a nightmare - stomach cramps. Kept putting off phoning the clinic till today. Asked if my AF could come in the 1st week after transfer. She thinks the pain is because my ovaries will have filled up with fluid (and i did have 25 follies!). I do so hope that that is what it is and not my AF coming. i know i've to keep positive but it ain't easy. I just having to keep drinking (unfortunately not wine!). Image

Good luck to everyone. Vickie - not long now.
Lovely weather again. Long may it last. Enjoy your evening or day wherever you are in the world. Paula x Image

Hi All,
OMG these last 2 days have been the worst ever - i can guarantee AF will be with me when i wake up 2moro - i can feel it, i really don't think i'll make it to testing on thursday!

Jackie..ur follies sound gr8, lets hope they keep getting bigger and ur in on friday!!!

Paula....thanx for the PMA - i think we're all paranoid about the dreaded AF

Becky and Ems - hang in there, not long to go now!

i haven't even bought my HPT yet as i'm convinced due to my brown spotting that its all over. If i don't get a red AF 2moro then i will go and but my test but not b4 as i don't want to tempt fate.

I really have prepared myself 4 a BFN now - i've been cryin for 2 days solid as i couldn't believe this spotting - i don't know where its come from so i find it hard 2 b positive now!

I'll update again 2moro

Love 2 every1 and loads and loads of sticky baby dust!
