I'm new to this site

I am sat here waiting to leave (in about an hour and a bit) to go in for egg collection.

This is my third attempt at IVF/ICSI.

The first got to collection but we only got one fertilization and that did not cleave.

The second got cancelled due to non response to down regulation.

This time I was on a "Short protocol". On Friday we had 2 follies of a good size and 3 mini-follies. It looked like we would be cancelled. By Monday we had 4 or 5 good follies and some smaller ones. So its ok to go ahead today.

I am pretty edgy as the quality was poor the first time (we even got 6 eggs). I have been upping the protein intake this time to try and improve quality.

Anyone have success with division in an attempt after having an attempt that did not cleave???

Hello there,
This is my first time on here, just regustered. Good luck with your egg collection Im sure all will go well (3rd time lucky!) we are about to embark on our 3rd ICSI attempt 1st down regulation injection due 2nd Oct, 1st 2 attempts were provate and this attempt is finally on the NHS so finger crossed. I am praying for load of eggs fpr you today!!! Good luck

HI I'm new too, my H is going to get sperm surgically extracted next monday and then we are to start the IVF thing. So I have no clue really about anything. Hope everything goes ok for you

Hi they got 5 eggs and 2 fertilized.

This really is the scary bit now. Its completely out of my hands (body!!!) and I am just praying they divide this time.
