HI ladies. Oh my fingers are triple crossed for you ladies waiting to test. I had my AF when i was still taking the pessaries last cycle. In Rita West's book she says she gets annoyed when woman say that they've stopped taking the pessaries because they think their AF has come. She says unless it's a full flow AF (bright red) continue to take the pessaries. Unfortunately last time i never made it to the blood test coz my AF came. I just pray it stays well away! Image for me and all of you!

Angela - hope you get on ok at work. I've got the doc today so we'll see if i'm off for another week. I defo didn't feel like this last time (obviously coz i only had 5 eggs). I work with very young children - bending down, running about a lot and i don't think i'm up to it yet. Still really tired. All the very best for you. Fingers crossed.

Everyone enjoy your day (if possible - no worrying) Image Paula x Image

Hello everyone

well what a busy site this has been since last night.......

Ems/Vickie/Becky - I wish there was a magical wand that I could wave to help ease the wait that you are all going through and give you all what you all so derserve - a BFP!! I'm with Aunty, we will not listen to any of this talk to AF arriving - keep visualising that she is not and that your little ones are settling in for a long time!! :D :D

Angela - how is your first day back work going? Hope you're taking it easy.

Moritsha - hope you get on ok at the Drs and get a lovely week off.. :D You need to rest, rest and more rest!

Aunty - is today the day that you start ?? Good luck and hope all goes well for you.

I have some good news (I think) - looks like my EC will be Friday - still only have 7 follies but they have grown well - 3 above 20, 3 above 15 and one small one who I don't think has grown at all and is still below 10.
Waiting for the clinic to call later today to def give me the green light - all depends on the RE and my blood test.

Not sure I could last the weekend - feeling really uncomfortable - Angela / Moritisha - how did you both cope with that many follies !!!

Loads of PMA and baby dust to you all

lol Jackie xx

OHHHH Lady's i dont mean to be harsh or poopoo your fears i know how real they are i honestly do its just i have two close friends who have been through ivf and i remember hearing the same things your saying (i mean exactly the same)
my one friend was 110% sure af was here she almost didnt go for the test for about the same amount of days as you all she was doing the same thing..

as she got her bloods drawn she was saying "i dont know why im here its negative"
when the clinic called her with her results she answered the phone like this "i know its negative" while crying....they said ooo no actually your very pregnant....she has twins
my other friend has a little boy so i know how real these fears are but i also know how similar to af pregnancy is
i dont want to give false hope but your embies need your mental love right now i know its hard but you have to do it

lots of love Aunty...

Aunty,

Your friends are very lucky women :)

I now ur frined said there was no point in having a blood test cos she was getting AF symptoms etc - thats whats worrying me - its cos i feel nothng -no cramps, no blood, no niggley pain - zilch! I dont even feel as if AF is comming! Im so weepy - i cant stop crying! I have tested myself again this morning - and then again this afternoon - still nothing! What i thought was going to change from this morning i dont know. I cant see it changing by Friday morning either!
I wish i had something to go on - u know? - Some sort of niggley pain, some sign - anything ....

Im sorry for being so down, i dont mean to drag everyone else down either. I apologise if i have. You have all been so lovely to me.

Becky Xx

Hello girls
I am sorry I have not posted.. I got back yesterday and I had the scan.. Good news they saw the sac. The doc seemed to be a little concerned that they did not see anything in it yet but we are going to re-scan on Friday. i think it was too early (which the doc said was a possability) to see anything anyway.. So For now all is going well. I wanted to pop in ( I am back at work so I will have to catch up on personals later) but I wanted to tell you all that if you go by me.. I had nothing no symtoms what so ever and I was preggers and did not even know it.. With the IVF I had symptoms and relaly though AF was around the corner and she did not show and that had been a positive. So what I am saying is either way you can not tell. We will keep up the PMA together.. I have missed you all
love and huge hugs
Jackie
I will post more later

Jackie hun,

Thats fantastic news :D Im so pleased for u.

My friend had a natural pregnancy and went for a scan at 6 weeks (cos she had been in hosp for an operation and didnt know she was pg - so they wanted to check everything was ok etc) - ironically the op she had been in for was to be steralized!!!!! (Honest lol) anyway - she had the same worry - they could only see the sac - but when she went back a week or so later, her baby was there - heart beating away :D it often happens when u scan early that they only see the sac - so i wouldnt worry too much!

Its great to have u back - especially with ur news, we could (well i could lol) do with cheering up

Take Care

Good Morning! Wow...such a busy day. Lots of emotions on this board.

Becky...it is easy for me to say "stay positive" but I would feel like you...and be all over the place. The truth is...until you get the blood test...you just don't know what is going on. What pregnancy test brand are you using? The sensitivity could make all the difference.

Jackie: So great to hear from you and hear your good news about seeing the sac. Since you don't know exactly when you conceived...I bet it is just too early to see anything inside of it.

Nims: Keeping my fingers crossed for you for a successful egg collection on friday and lots of mature eggs waiting to become Embies!

Vickie and Ems: I just think that what you guys are experiencing is such a GOOD thing! And by the way...although I did not have spotting to follow...with my first pregnancy I cramped like CRAZY! Soooooo bad...Always felt like AF was going to show every time I went to the toilet. Hang in there...I just know we are going to get good news regarding your tests.

As for me...I am doing well. PMA still up and down depending on the second. I have a very fun day planned and dinner out for my dad's bday at my favorite retaurant (Ruth's Chris steakhouse). THE BEST STEAKS.

Write more later.

Hi Zirly hun,
Ive used - 'First Response' sensitivity of 12.5 (ive used this 4 times so far)
This morning i used 'Clear Blue' Sensitivity 25, and later this afternoon (why i dont know) i used the digital clear blue - sensitivity also 25. Our clinic doesnt do blood tests, we go by the results of the pg test, hense feeling so low :?

FRW: Welcome and congratulations in getting to ur 2ww i would say it was easy, but as u can proberly tell from my posts - its not - mind u, im not a normal person, so dont go by anything i say lol. But u have come to the right place for support, the ladies here are lovely :D

Hello guys!

WAHOOU it feels like I have been away for years! I have through all your post, welcome to the new girls! I wont stay long because i should be resting but I thought I should update you.

I went to EC on the 11th, my gyne said I would have about 10 follies, well I woke up and the nurse told me I had 35 collected!! Out of the 35, 19 eggs. So I was really please!! Last night was horrible, i couldnt not sleep because i was too scared not to have any embies (as it happened last time) and this morning I was told that 11 fertilised!! The two best were transfered, but the other were not good enough to be frozen...(although the worse one will be kept for a couple of days to see if they survive and if so they will be frozen)

Dh did a great job with his TESA. We have 5 straws frozen. Poor thing is in pain, i do feel for him...

I have mild OHSS wich is very uncomfortable, a bit painful. The nurse said that as long as i dont vomit, i should be fine. She did not mention to drink loads, but i will follow your advice girls!
She also said that it would be good to have sex tomorrow or after tomorrow because it helps the embies to implant?? I am sure many of you have been told not too!! ANymay, i dont think dh will be able to!! :?

SO test date is on the 27th

Nimble, i hope your follies grows !
Aunty, starting tomorrow?? bet u are exctied!
Jackie, so happy for you!

all the other girls, sorry no personal but very tired now

will connect soon

love
