Hi All you mad 2WW out there, thought I would start a new thread.

I am feeling much better having read Di's good news.

I can totally identify with July Ann - I am bouncing my boobs every 5 minutes at the moment!! Good job I am alone in the house!! The hurt a bit, but it's probably all the bouncing I am doing. I am glad I am not alone. I am remarkably good a not doing pregnancy tests. I think it comes from doing so many over the years!! I think I would rather be in blissful ignorance.

I spoke to DH last night who is at home alone with the cats at the moment. One of them brought a field mouse in, and he hasn't managed to track it down yet - it was last seen in the front room last night!! Something for me to look forward to when I go home tomorrow.

Anyway lets get those ++++++++++++ve vibes going. It worked for Dis so it can work for us.

Good luck to all those still injecting and scanning.

Speak to you all soon

Love

Karen
xx
Me 33 DH 34

Hi Sue & good luck for EC tomorrow.

I did ICSI back in maY & DUE to dreaded OHSS did not have embies put back(this was advice I got from clinic)
I had 35-40 follicles so know how you must feel. I am now on 2ww after having 2 put back in (FET)
It sounds like they are keeping an eye on you though so hopefully all will be ok..

Not really sure why some of us overstimulate & some people it seems can overstimulate 1 cycle & understimulate next-is a mystery......

Sending you positive vibes & make sure after EC you drink at least 2 litres of water each day & try & steer clear of caffeine(I am sure your clinic have already told you this)

Sarah
xx

NIKOLA-had a panic lunchtime, was in the middle of shopping centre heading towards Percy Pigs in M&S & my heart stopped, fire alarm went & security warning to say an incident had occured (was not worried about bomb or fire, more worried about no Percy Pigs-anyway was a false alarm & got to M&S. Have now consumed nearly 350 calories!! Am I a pig or do you also manage a whole packet in 1 sitting??

Hello ladies! I've taken the weekend off of the computer so I had a lot of posts to read this morning. How great it was that Di's wonderful news was the first I read.

I had a little scare Saturday night with some light spotting. I think I had about 5 drops. I went straight to bed and spent all day Sunday on the couch. I have not had any spotting or bleeding since then. Anytime I've ever spotted in the past, I started my AF the next day. It didn't happen this time, so still feeling +++ive and trying not to think that the Progestone is doing all of this to me.

I got on the web trying to find Percy Pigs, but couldn't find any. I guess the UK wants to keep those their own little secret. I told my dh about them and that I couldn't find any, so he surprised me with a couple of large bags of gummy bears instead. Those are my favorites!

I'm scheduled for my blood test tomorrow morning. I'm pretty sure I am going to remain strong and not do a home pregancy test, although I do have one available and my dh is not being quite as strong. He keeps asking me if I am going to do it and not trying to talk me out of it.

Good luck to all and really hoping for a lot of positive results this next week!

Love,
Val

Hi All

Thanks for welcoming the new girl!
Nikola-lucky you if you normally have boobs like Jordans, this is a whole new experience! God knows what they will be like when I am on the progesterone! Waited 7 yrs as last time everything seemed so perfect(12 eggs, 8 grade 1 embryos, 3 put back in and nothing!)but the whole experience was awful, clinic, support etc, tried FET with my 5 remaining but none survived the thaw. Two years later my marriage went tits up so decided I would be career woman. Two years later meet a wonderful man and have decided to try again, so bit strange as 1st time for him but not me! Believe in fate though so maybe thats why it didnt work out last time!
Sarah- Thanks and keeping everything crossed for all of you, Why the water? dont remember this from before, will buy caff free coffee!
Is anyone else having treatment at the Lister? they seem good so far and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed.
Whats with the percy pigs, I work next to M&S and am quiet grateful im not there at the mo, if they are some sort of good luck charm I would have consumed a shelf full by now(prefer fizzy fish normally!)
Kate- feel for you what with the wait and Nans funeral looming, perhaps she is helping up there, its 2 years this weekend I lost my Dad and I hope he can provide the little bit of luck I need!
Feel like the condemed woman with tomorrow looming, just hope I get as far as ET with no more hiccups.

Sue xx

Hi Sue

Lets hope new man, new clinic, new result!! I'm not at the Lister but I know some of the other girls are - start a new thread asking who is at the Lister and you'll get a load of responses!

I'm to blame for the Percy Pig fettish. I was advised to not eat chocloate (which for me when I'm pre-menstrual is nearly impossible!) because of the caffeine, so I've tried out nearly every kind of non-chocolate sweets and percy pigs have come out on top!! Now I'm hoping M&S will give me a job because even Val who lives in Florida is trying to get hold of Percy Pigs!!!

Val - email me your address to my private email and I'll post you some percy pigs to hopefully celebrate your +ve result for tomorrow!!!! I'm sure they are ok to eat during pg!

Sarah - I have to say I've never eaten a WHOLE bag in one go! Five usually make me feel sick and I have to stop and eat some later!! Maybe I get the family size bag - 200g! You haven't eaten all of them have you?? If you had it would be 688kcal! Not that I'm counting calories at the moment!!!

Kate hang on in there. Not long now. I've had every pain you could imagine, back ache, af, v.sore boobs etc. had to get up and walk around on Sat night I was in so much pain. This can't be normal, but there is not a lot I can do, so I jsut grin and bear it and keep everything crossed for thursday!!

Kate, I'm sorry to hear about your nan. As everyone knows I'm not good at cliches, but like I said to Di when her rabbit died, perhaps someone has to die for a new life to be brought into the world. Look at Di now, she is pg! I'll be thinking of you on Thursday. Why do things always happen at once??

I'm going to watch Beverley Hills 90210 - my favourite!!

Talk later.
love nikola.xx

Hi all,
Kate-sorry about your nan-Im sure she is sending you +ve vibes

Sue-I think the water is to stop OHSS -when you are stimulated you are very bloated & I was told to drink lots to stop dehydrating, Im sure there are more experts on site who can confirm

Nikola-just eating last one now!!! They lasted nearly 2 hrs & was the 100g bag......

Sarah
xx

[Edited by SJ BROWN on 22-Sep-03 07:48]

Sarah - that is the lightweight bag! You need family size next time! I still can't believe you've eaten a whole packet! Maybe that is cos you are eating for two/three!! We'll soon find out.

Are you chilled about Friday? July Ann has gone v.quiet, I hope she isn't testing when she thinks nobody is watching!!!

I'm not tempted at all - are you? I just like the thought I'm pg at the moment and I know as soon as I do the test the dream is shattered for another time. I'd rather be blissfully ignorant!

love nikola.xx

Hi all & welcome to new Sue. You won't be able to tear yourself away from here now you've found us!! Did they increase your drugs because of your age now compared to 7 years ago?
I am still feeling v positive but can I just warn you I had a major negative episode last time after a week of 2ww, so am trying very hard not to let that happen again. I have 34F boobs now so goodness knows what they will be like WHEN I get pg (still positive, did you notice?!) Also, another positive thing, I got 4 numbers on the lottery and that has never happened before so that must be a good sign too. Haven't claimed it yet - I'll let you know how much I get - probably about £20?
Good luck to all of you testing this week, hang in there and don't do it early!!
Lots of love
Kat xx
