jst got a copy of my HSg report yesterday, It says....
There is a contrast collection at the fimbrial ends suspicious for adhesions. Eventual filling
of the fallopian tubes is identified with free spillage of contrast into pelvic cavity.
Impression:
Contrast collection at the fimbrial ends suspicious for mild bilateral hydrosalpinx. Patient fallopian tubes.
Is mild bilateral hydrosalpinx treatable? Did anybody in this forum have similar test results? Is IVF only option for such symptoms?

yes and no.... depends on how bad it is.. I had what was called "clubed fembria" and scaring... I had 2 surgeries and both just made the problem worse.. then I had a last ditch effort (with a tubal specialest) surgery and he fixed the issue... but I still have non working fambria.. and other issues so I am doing IVF.... Remember that each surgery can harm you tubes more...

Hi Ranson,
I had HSG done, becos I had an ectopic pregnancy and I wanted to make sure that there is mnot residue from it. Also my DR said, it cleans the tubes f there is any blockage and lot of women get pregnant in couple of cycles after the HSG. Having all that hopes I went to find out that my tubes were scarred due to ectpic pregancy. I also have bilateral hydrosaplinx ( swollen-fluid filled sacs on either side of your tubes) becos of this my tubes were functioning poorly and there is a delayed spillage of the dye. In order to avoid an ectopic pregnancy, my doc advised me to try IVF. I am hoping to get pregnant with IVF and wish you too goodluck.
