Hello Ladies,

I always love reading all of your posts!!!

Jo~~ I dont know weather to say Good news your daughter isnt having surgery or that she will not be feeling so great in a few weeks, I just hope God looks out for her and she will not feel ill and will never need the surgery! As for you i hope you have been taking good care of yourself.

Kareen~~ oh you poor thing i wish you can come and hang out with me at home, we can kick our feet up and just order food in all day long!! I noticed that these past few days because the weather has cooled off a bit my feet are not as bad as they were the last few weeks, i hope things will turn around for you too... I hope you are wearing comfortable shoes, tell your boss that you just cant wear certain shoes, for GODS sake you are pregnant with twins they must understand!!!!!!!!! Goodluck on your upcoming scan!

Heather~~ Sweet you have a baby boy on the way!!! How wonderful you were able to enjoy two of the detailed scans of your baby, i can imagine how you felt looking at him close up. It truly is a miracle to be able to see them so close. As far as buying things for the babies, i have only bought clothes they will need for the hospital considering they will be born much earlier then regular pregnancies, i was told tripletes usually come around 32-35 weeks of gestation. And considering im on official bedrest i just bought the necessities like onesies, booties, mittens, burp clothes, caps, and blankets.... 3 of everything!! its amazing how everything penny adds up when you buy so many things...wishing you goodluck..

Hayley~~ where have you been darling, i think your are still caught up in your dreamy and wonderful news of having twin girls, how wonderful, enjoy it!!! miss u

Tammy~~ how are you doing, still not able to sleep??? I think thats been the case for almost all of us... turning from right to left becomes such a hassle every 10-15 minutes. im sure you wake up exhausted just as i do!

Kelly~~COngratulations on the baby boy!!! how wonderful! Is this your first baby??? I wish you goodluck. I read your post and was worried about your low lying placenta, i pray that its not placenta previa, if its just a low placents its not too much of a problem. You just need to take good care of yourself.... best wishes.

Justine~~ congrats on the maternity pay! hope you are doing well. hope to hear from you soon.

Ladies, will any of you have baby showers????? Is everyone drinking all of the water that they are recommending? I certainly have been having a difficult time with it.. Also my protein intake is just awful, when i think of anykind of meat it just makes me want to you know...buhuh!! my doctor keeps on insisting that the only thing that helps a baby grow to its full potential is protein. I gotta think of different ways to intake protein, any ideas will be appreciated!
With Gods Blessings BFP!

Good morning Ladies (well, it is morning here in the U.S.)

Kelley: Thanks for the encouragement on our adoption. I believe that the timing will be perfect, so that we get the perfect baby for our family.
Congrats on your baby boy!!!!!! I feel that we are having a baby boy, but that is just my intuition. We should know on Oct. 5th. Take care of yourself.

Jo: I'm so glad that your little angel did not have to have surgery. Hopefully, she will not start doing poorly and will not need the operation. I hope you are taking care of yourself and your little beanie.

Justine: That is wonderful aobut your maternity pay!!
That is terrible that you cannot adopt past 40. China lets couples adopt well into their 50's.

Kareen: Are you not going to find out the sex of your babies? My DH was ok not knowing, but I told him that I have to find out.

Heather: We are excited about having two babies. That is too bad that your government will not open the adoption register more frequently.
I'm glad to hear that everything is going well for you and your beanie.
Are you doing something fun for your upcoming holiday? Congrats on your baby boy!!!!!!!

Vita: I hear you on the protein issue. When I was first pregnant, I craved cheese like it was going out of style. Now I am only craving fruit and vegetables. Have you tried protein bars, or protein shakes? It is a very good way to get your protein, without tasting or looking like meat. I have a big canister of protein powder that I combine with milk and frozen fruit in my blender. It is very tasty. Protein bars are good too. I usually keep one in my purse, in case I get hungry. I am still tossing and turning all night long.

Hello to anyone else that I missed.

Take care all,
Tammy

Im a it concerned about this low lying placenta,, even though they told me not to worry  . im frightend to even pick the hover up now. Has anyone else had this.

Hello All

Thanks again for your kind words with regard to Jodie. Just a matter of time will tell now.

Justine that is fantastic news about your maternity pay. I was back a week after I had Emma to find out I was pregnant with Jodie so I took voluntary redundancy so I was unable to help you with that one!

Kareen, Emma is loving school. She gets to stay all day from tomorrow. She was a little upset yesterday because she couldn't go!

Have you thought of maybe taking a piece of paper and an envelope with you to the scan and asking the sonographer to write the sex down. At least then you will have it and if your urge takes you, you can open it. Or wait until Christmas morning. I personally would be opening it in the car on the way home - if I got that far!

Hi Heather, I would have a couple of long sleeved rompers just in case you have a cool evening. In the beginning I would personally keep them in a vest. As they get a few months older then just the nappy but little babies like to feel something on them. I have bought quite a bit now. It makes me smile when I see it. I've got the pram, crib, bath, a dozen vests and a few babygrows (rompers). I always change the baby in the evening for bed so I will use the unisex ones then. When we know what sex it is I am going to colour code!

I have made a list of everything else I want. Didn't feel as good as actually going shopping but it made me feel better. I've even started on the girls christmas list. We have to be prepared, anything can happen and I don't just mean baby coming, you never know if your blood pressure goes up and your on bed rest or something! Must be my girl guide in me, always be prepared!

Hi Vita, are you bored yet? I wouldn't mind a couple of days of proper best rest but I don't think I could stand much more! At least you can sit on the computer, that's resting! Any photos yet? We are all anxiously waiting a photo of that bump of three! The swelling is awful, mine is only in my right foot which is strange! No, not drinking as much as I should, maybe that will get the swelling down.

Hi Tammy, I too am struggling to sleep. I keep getting up every 1/2 hour to an hour to go to the loo, then I struggle to get back to sleep. I thought this was susposed to ease in the second trimester!

Hi Hayley I'm so happy for you. When's your next scan to confirm the sex of the other one? I love the name Madison.

I really like the name Mia but as our surname is Baker we can't have it (me a baker!). If it's a girl it's going to be Ellie. We can't decide on a boy's name. Well I can but DH doesn't like any and won't give any suggestions. He just says it's going to be a girl so no need to worry about it!

Are you all going to find out the sex if you can? Hopefully we will on the 26 October.

I've been ok. My back is playing up. It doesn't feel like a pregnancy back ache as it's more pain than an ache. Does anyone know if you can use deep heat during pregnancy? The bath helps while I'm in it but as soon as I'm out it's there again! The arthritis is still there but the bladder infection has gone. Just finished the antibiotics.

Sorry if I've missed you but I hope you are all doing ok.

Take care

Jo

Hello everyone!

Kareen you are right, it has been really quiet here for the last few days, i figured it was the weekend and people were busy... ONE WEEK OFFF YAAAAY!!! good for you enjoy it dont even do the light housework just try to totally relax, just a tiny warning though it gets boring really quick and you can think of a million things that need to be done just so you can get up. its just getting more difficult to sit my butt down. Although after standing for about 10 -15 minutes im at the point where i have to sit and kick my feet up..i guess i am getting heavy and these babies are needing for me to just stay on the sofa. I hope while you are off this week you will think of wonderful names for your twins.... i guess you would need a set of both names considering you dont know the sex's yet... I would have loved a surprise if i had a singleton but with three it seems like you really need to know inorder to prepare. i have been asking my husband to take a picture of my belly but we just keep on forgetting. I realized last night that i dont have a single picture of my bump. It got me sad because i might never have these moments again.

I hope all of you ladies are doing well. I am at the point where i see my perinatologist every 2 weeks, and thursday i have another appointment im looking forward to finding out the sex of the third baby...My perinatologist is a real jerk, but hes the most famous one here in california. Hes the chief of the biggest hospital(ucla) and the dean of the university in the OBGYN dept. I guess thats where he picks up his attitude from. Not only is he weird but you have a 3-4 hour wait at each visit because hes constantly being called to the hospital. Before he takes you in as his patient he reviews your case and sees if its high risk enough for him to take it on or else if its a simple non complicated case he refuses and refers to a different doctor. I have my detailed scan coming up on the 26th im really looking forward to this. I will do my AFP blood work this thursday, i was wondering if anyone knows how long it will take before you get results back.

Well ladies hope to hear from you all soon...
With Gods Blessings BFP!

Hello All,

DH took a few days off so I've only been watching the last couple of days!

Kareen that listener sounds good. I'd have it on all the time! How does it work with two though, would you have to get two? lol

Definately do what Vita says and do nothing this week! Enjoy some you time, bit of shopping (as much as your legs/feet will carry).

I like those names. Katie was another one on my list but we've settled for Ellie this time (that's if it's a girl).

Vita wow special lady, top doctor!! I hope that baby of yours opens it's legs on Thursday. Have you actually given up work altogether now?

I've started my christmas shopping already. We went to Bluewater the other day but I just couldn't do it. My right foot has been swollen for a few weeks now but my whole leg puffed out and was so painful. I can't believe I'm like this already and it's only a singleton! Will have to buy everything on line from now on, saves carrying it!

The house is so empty at the moment. Emma's at school and Jodie is at pre-school, it doesn't seem right. They are my girls they should be with me! lol

I ordered my sterliser and baby monitor the other day so they should be arriving any day now.

I've got the diabetic clinic on Friday. I've lost my warning signs of when I'm about to have a hypo which is quite worrying. Hopefully they will shed some light on it.

Baby seems good. Moving away, it really feels like it's tickling me lots!

Sorry Kareen but the weather here is lovely! A little windy but at least I'm getting my washing dry!

Hope the rest of you are ok.

Speak soon

Jo

Morning Ladies

Glad all of you ladies are doing well....

Kareen I love the names you have picked Katie is sooooooooo cute...Andrew is wonderful as well. I have been thinking of the names Johnathon and Angelo and if baby number 3 is a girl I will choose Leila its my favorite name, and if its a boy then i will really have to think more. It seems im only able to think of girl names its coming to me much easier then the boys names. Any suggestions on boy names? Kareen i feel so weird i think i am the only one who has not felt any movement yet, you would think with having three in there and less room i would feel it more but nope nothing, unless im unable to recognize it and tell the difference between little pains that come and go.

Jo~ Hello how are you? Did you find out why you are so swollen in one leg? That must be really painful. I feel for you darling. Hope it will just release the swelling and allow you to walk around more comfortably. Jo I have completely stopped working, All i do is roam around home now and sometimes sneek out of the house and go for a drive when i just cant take it anymore.

Justine~~ I love you girls name Sophie its my moms name! its beautiful.
You are totally right about having a picture my DH has been soooo busy lately i havent even seen him the last 2 days so as soon as he has a few minutes to spare i will definitly get a picture up.

OK ladies what are crimbo pressies???? Please enlight the american!

Yesterday my mother and I got out of the house and ordered the cribs for the little ones all three!!! mattresses and bedding and all... wow its soooo costly!!!! Thank Heaven for moms

Good morning ladies:

It seems that everyone is doing well. I'm under the weather with an awful head cold. Since I'm pregnant, there are a limited number of drugs that I can take. I'm just trying to make it through the next 2 days and then I will have the weekend to rest.

I like the names everyone has been picking. DH and I like Andrew for a boy and Annalise for a girl. We have Elena picked out for our adopted baby from China.

I go to my OB/GYN today for the first time. I'm going to ask for a quick scan to see the sex of the baby, but I don't know if the doctor will order it. Oh well, it does not hurt to try. :D I still have not felt movement.

Well, I'd better sign off for now. I have a stack of exams to grade for my class tonight.

Take care all!!
