The info:

I am 31 DH is 41
Although we CAN get pregnant, we suffer from multiple early miscarriages. I have carried two pregnancies to full term. We used IVF/PGD to try to select a chromosomally normal emby to avoid further miscarriages.

The stats:
First fresh cycle
20 follies at baseline scan (antral)
17 eggs retrieved at EC
16 mature
12 fertilized
All Fragmented to some extent on day three but all made it to day three
1/2 grade 3 rest grade 2 and 1 (1-4 scale...4 being best)
Biopsied on Day 3
LOST BIOPSY SLIDES AND RE-BIOPSIED DAY 4
By day five, report came back...only 6 were still going, and only 4 were genetically viable (normal chromosomally). All four were xx(girls)
Of those four...one was a morula, one was a 5BB(that is a hatching blast grade bb (from a-c), at blast stage, and one was on way to blast stage
Transfered ONE 5bb (hatching blast)
Peed on sticks using First Response Early pregnancy tests starting right away (DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS)
Saw the line from the trigger shot get lighter and lighter and it was gone by day 3dp5dt. On day 4...saw the lightest of light lines on the test (had to use a flashlight to see). Lines got a bit darker (just a tad)...but never really got dark. Then on day 5-8...stayed the SAME color (I was convinced it was a miscarriage).
First blood on 9dp5dt at 167
Second blood on 11dp5dt at 369

Symptoms:
Hardly any at all. The only one is just not feeling like eating too much (but I am having a lot of anxiety from all the hormones and taht curbs my hunger).

I have NO sore bbs, no boob changes, no discharge, no cramping, really hardly anything. Maybe a bit more tired...

I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST OF LUCK!

Zirly, I'm so glad for you.

And not surprised - even with the i embryo transfer.
With your age and the PGD normal single blast - the odds of a BFP were better than 50-50.

I'm so so happy for you. Are your other two children boys? girls? 1 of each?
