Thank you all for your well-wishes!

Truth be told - being the first one of our Oct group is scarey!!! I wish I had someone ahead of me saying - you can do it! I have alot of family who tells me this - and my best friend is a doula - I trust her completely when she tells me. But you girls are the ones who've been closest to me on a daily basis...I know it sounds weird - but I haven't talked to my friend every day - but every single day I read your posts - so it feels like we're closer and our experiences have been soo similar...

I'm rambling I know....but I just want you all to know your experiences and encouragement have meant the world to this pregnant lady!!!

Here's to a healthy baby in a couple of weeks! :D

Hi all! Just a quick note between feeding for baby and nap for mommy - we had our baby girl on October 17th! Her name is McKenna Ann and she is perfect. She was 7 pounds 7 ounces and was delivered via c-section after a long (and natural) labour. We're getting the hang of each other slow but sure. I'll post a pic in photobucket when I get a chance.

Congratulations to all who have or are having your little one(s) recently or in the near future. Hopefully when things get settled I'll be able to catch up and keep up with all of the October births - you've all been such a great support for me so I hope I can return the favour!!!

Congratulations!!!! I am so happy for you. It is an adjustment, isn't it? I like how you said she was "perfect". Very sweet! Can't wait to see pictures when you have time to post them!
