Acupuncture??

Post by Hopeful in Indiana »

Has anyone had any good results with accupuncture? My RE recommended someone and said she has had good results with him. I am planning on doing it for my FET if I can hear of some positive outcomes. I am to go at least once a week before my FET. Then, he will come to the procedure and do a treatment immediately before and then one immediately after. Does this sound familiar?

Hi HiI,that procedure sounds right, ive had 3 BFN's,and waiting to start 3rd fresh ivf cycle, and have started accupuncture with a traditional chinese herbalist and accu doctor.I've read in lots of articles that accu is VERY beneficial in ivf,so if you can and can afford it my advice is def go with it..

Hello ladies

I've never looked into accupuncture before, however now that you have been discussing it I checked the net for clinics and I've read few articles...It sounds very interesting and I don't think there's no harm in trying it!

Good Luck all....

Hi

I had accupuncture alongside IVF because I had heard/read about it increasing your chances of embryo implantation. Cant prove it, but Im sure it helped me! Certainly helped me relax anyway! (Which is a welcome relief when coping with all the emotional stuff that goes with IVF)

There are a few accupuncture threads posted previously on this forum, if you go back a few pages, which you may find useful.

Wishing all of you BFP's!

I started acu and TCM (traditional chinese medicine) after my 1. IVF (failure) and am sure that is why I got naturally preg in Sept. (unfortunately lost) and am now waiting for my little girl from my 2.IVF. I have only good things to say about acu.
