Is anyone doing transfers on or around the 8th of october??

hello everyone! Getting ready to start stims on Friday. Need lots of eggies! Was just wondering if anyone is on the same schedule as me? Estimated retrieval is on the 3rd and estimated transfer is on the 8th. My RE wants them to go to blast. Wish me Luck!

Hi anna, im new here too, been reading for months, never posted. i am going to have a FET on or around the first week in oct. we had a great stim back in june, they got 20 mature eggs, only 2 fertilized...and my lining wasnt ready for transfer, so they canceled. excited about gearing up again. been on lupron for a week now, bc pills too. they are going to give me estrogen patches to beef up the lining and hopefully we will transfer in oct. good luck to you, keep me posted!

hey, this is my first ivf treatment. I am due for embryo transfer around the 14th of october. I am so excited, but at the same time a little scared. I am an Australian living in Mexico and it is really difficult for me to trust the system here. My Doc here has told me that I must complete 3 weeks bed rest. Only get up to shower and pee basically. It seems to be such a long time and I haven´t met anyone who has had to rest so much, but I guess I will just do what he says. I will rest 7 days in Mexico city and then fly back to town where I live now. Not too sure about flying but Doc recommended it. I really hope for all of us that this next month will be a huge success.

I'm going for retrieval around 10/2 and transfer 10/7. Also, going for 5 day transfer at blasto. How are the meds treating you?

hey shell. Sorry about not replying to this post. I lost track of this one somehow. How are things going for you? Are you in your 2ww? I am. I had the retrieval on the 3rd, have OHSS, mildly. Then transferred on the 8th. We transferred 3 morulas. The embryologist felt very comfortable with these. On day 5 they were almost at blast. I hope this works. I am very positive this time! Let me know how things are going!

Hey, Shellee - I checked out your web page, really cool. I'm at the same RE clinic as you, only I'm in the Torrance office. I've never been offered a 5-day blast transfer. Is that routine or did you ask for it?

I am also at the torrance office with doctor salem. I was offered the 5 day blast on my first cycle due to my age and egg quality, but because it didnt work we did a 3 day transfer this time. Im actually on bedrest right now and will go for my first beta test on teusday. Where are you in the cycle?

Hi shell. My first beta is on Monday the 16th. Which is only 8 days from my transfer date. I am wondering why so early as I have ready others are on their 2ww. Do they mean 2weeks from retrieval or what? I took off the monday after the retrieval then went back to work on tuesday. I more or less laid around and did nothing for 2 days. Thought at this point that some movement would do me some good. Today was going alright but I am uncomfortable on my left side. Very hot in that area. I dont know if I could be ovulating on my own or what? But I came home at 3 cause I feel tired and uncomfortable. Might not go to work tomorrow. We will see. When did you do the transfer? were they morula embies? (the stage right before blast)? Also what day is your beta scheduled? Talk to you soon.

Hi -

This was our first IVF cycle. Started on BCP for about 12 days, then Lupron for several days, then a half-dose of Lupron plus 2 injections of Follistim each day for about 12 days. Retrieval was on Oct 4 - ended up with 12 eggs and found out the next day that 6 had fertilized - yippee!!! My doc decided to do a day-3 transfer of the remaining 5 embryos. None were a grade 1, and on the morning of that transfer day the were, respectively 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 cells with some level of fragmentation in each.

The embryologist stopped by after the transfer while I was still in bed and gave us photos of the embryos and answered our questions. Our clinic asked that I take it very easy (stay housebound) for two days with no sex or exercise until the beta test on the 18th. The embryologist said that the embryos weren't going anywhere, however, as the embryos would have snuggly settled in to a fold in my uterus by the time we left the hospital, and told us that there wasn't a "snowball's chance in hell" of them simply dropping out of my cervix

My first beta test is on 10/17. I believe they do count 12-14 days from retrieval for the 2ww, which makes sense if you think about it. Once they are retrieved and put with the sperm, they are already growing. I did retrieval on 10/6, transfer on 10/9 and am off 3 day bed rest officially this morning (Thursday). Thank God! It was driving me crazy. I don't work, so I will continue to take it easy throughout the weekend. If you would like to talk more personally, you can write me at pinkcali@gmail.com. It's great to know that there is someone else going through the 2ww with me! I only had 4 eggs retrieved, which seems insane because last cycle I had 17! But we got lucky and 3 of the 4 grew to 8 cell, which is fully grown, and were perfect quality. We put all 3 back in. Doctor said it's ok that we had so little because of my age and diagnosis he would not have transferred more than 3 anyway. Hope to hear from you soon!

thanks for replying so soon. It is good to have someone waiting with me. I am going tonight for my follow up acupuncture treatment. Yesterday was 3 days from transfer. My embryologist said that they would be implanting on or around yesterday so hopefully that is why I was feeling yucky yesterday! Today I feel better! Having more vaginal discharge this afternoon, apart from the normal lovely progesterone vaginal suppossitories that we have to use!! Have not had last couple of times doing this, so maybe this is a good sign?? I dont know! WHO KNOWS RIGHT?? Well I hope to hear from you soon. I am praying for you. anna
