Aunty-I also worked as an employment agency recruiter as well before quitting work to become a mom. I did it for 5 yrs, also working in branch operations as well. You are right-you sure do meet some very interesting people! I had a lot of fun in that job.

Nictor-Can you ask about getting your herbs in pill form like Suzhan? My acupuncturist said that you can take them as pill, powder (mixed in water) or tea with equal effectiveness. I am not taking herbs right now though-just acupuncture for the time being. I am a true believer in acupuncture, even though it hasn't happened for me yet. But I really believe that it will help.


So I started my Lupron on Sunday night and have been SO SICK as a result! Terrible nausea, dizziness and even a reaction at the injection site (burning and itching). Monday's was better and I am starting to feel a bit better now (although am about to do today's injection). I am really hoping that this fades a bit as I am supposed to take Lupron throughout the whole thing! I am definitely not a happy camper. Anyone else have this reaction?

I go back for follow up on Sept 26th and scan/bw to see if I should start stims.

Hope everyone is doing great and I love hearing about all the follicles that are developing!!

This is a duplicate post I just wanted to know what my buddies think

Okay I had my first scan after stimulating (4 days of med) and on day 5 before meds and I only had 2 size 10+ and 3 others smaller than 10. The doc said slightly below average number of follies. How many did you guys have on the first scan? And, do you only get one egg per mature folly? He didn't up my med which I was surprized but I wonder if after 4 days it is too late?

I do not think it is too late to up your meds, they have increased my meds and I was on day 7 of my meds. As far as I am aware you only get 1 egg per follie (but I maybe wrong). I have to go back on Friday, when do you go back? Perhaps you should mention about increasing your meds

Jen.... same thing with me almost i have had nausea burning at the site and stinging also my ovarys where stinging too and i have been so hot last two times i only had little flashes of heat this is melt down...hopefully it will be worth it i know it gets better when we start stimming...or i hope it does...

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I have not posted for a while but I have been away at a christening and have just got back.
From reading a little bit of the board it looks like there is alot going on now and things are moving for quite alot of you, I hope you are all doing well and looking forward to your transfers.
I am not going to stay on for long because I am feeling a bit down at the moment and I dont want to spoil all the PMA that should be going on.
I just wanted to post to let you all know that I have not forgotten you all and I am wishing you all the luck in the world with your current cycles and sending you all lots of babydust.
I will come back and write when I have got my head together.

Cowgirlclass .... I didn't have a scan until I was almost ready for ER so I can't help you there.. but I would not get too stressed about it at this point.... some follies can come out of no where and grow fast... Hang in there...

Gpt Dh's shot meds in tha mail today... that means I have to give him an IM shot tonight... (I could deal if I had to give myself a shot (I think) but to give it to DH.. wow.. I give all the DH's and SA's out here sooooo much credit.. I am freaking out.. LOL

Hi All!

I know it has been a while since I have posted, we had a few crisises this past week or so.

Cowgirl - I would not worry too much. The RE are quick to respond if they feel it is necessary. I am not stiming yet, but I should be in a few days. I am waiting for AF (should be here today ). I hope you fill out a few more follies.

As far as I go, my oldest son (he is 10 years old) felt the water running in the bathroom sink (upstairs) with the plug in place. The water ran all day, until 5:00 pm when we arrived home. The ceiling downstairs had to be removed and the carpet in and around the bathroom was removed as well. Our house is only 2 years old and so we were able to save the subflooring and other vital parts. We called our insurance company, but they state the damages were less then our deductible, so we are working hard on it. Our fellow Cub Scout leaders have rallied around us and have been helping with the demolishion and soon will help with the restoration. They have been great because the labor on the job is considerable.

A side from that, I ordered my meds and they are suposed to arrive at my office tomorrow (I hope the boss is gone when it comes).

I have noticed that a lot of us are around the same points and I am very excited. Good luck to all

I did freak out! I was so angry and scared I had no idea what to do. So I just stood there staring at the ceiling as the water was dripping down! Later, when we all started tearing down the drywall so the rafters and subflooring could dry, I broke down crying. The girls (my two fellow female cub scout leaders) took me out to a restruant and we sat and quietly had coffee (decaf for me ). This all happened last Thurday and so now am much calmer. The only strang thing about it is, we did not even get mad at my son. We did not even confront him until the next day and then we just calmly explained what he did wrong and what we will be doing about it. See, Daniel was diagnosed with and anxiety disorder and ADHD, and these things can really kncok him down. Yelling is the worst thing we can do with him because it reduces him to tears for several hours. Thinking back, I am surprised this was not my first response to the whole thing. Weird, huh.

Anyway, life has a way of moving on and now I am focused on getting PG! Of course, Daniel is hoping we have a girl and my younger son, Christian, wants another brother. I simpley hope we get PG and have a healthy outcome.

Hello everyone!

Racheal your post made me chuckle a bit (sorry, you probably didn't think it was funny!) My little sister did the same thing only she was in college! She turned on the water for a bath, went downstairs to do something and got sidetracked. She pretty much flooded her bathroom, bedroom and the hallway. It wasn't as bad as you had though! We had to replace carpet. I hope everything is settling down now. I am waiting for AF too. Should be here today or tomorrow.

Jordan good luck with DH's shots. I KNOW mine would pass out. He almost did last week when he had to do a blood test.

OOH so mad!

I called the Dr. today and left a message with the nurse because I have been spotting since yesterday. I wanted to know if this was the Day 1 they were waiting for or if it would get heavier. Since I had a Lupron shot last week I didn't know if I would have a heavy flow or not (TMI sorry). Anyway...I waited all day for them to call back and was getting angry that they hadn't. Then out of the blue my cell phone beeped and said I had a voicemail from 3 HOURS AGO! I never heard it ring and I have had it out on the table next to me all day. They said to call back and come in tomorrow because it could be day 3 tomorrow and then I would start stimming. They are closed now!

Anyway...hopefully I get in tomorrow and have ultrasound and bloodwork (sooo excited about that let me tell ya!) then maybe it will be time for my booty to know needles like never before!
Wish me luck! Sorry this has been all about me but I can feel my blood pressure rising and the cell phone co. is about to get a nasty call because this is the 2nd time this week I have missed a call.

Don't stress out - I've been in your shoes before and I totally understand. Some more follicles could appear and grow, and it is still early and your doc can adjust your dose based on your E2 and follicle status to tweek it and get the right response. Stay positive and just try not to focus on it too much (impossible, I know).

I have 10 follicles right now between size 10-18. This is the most for me ever on a cycle. It has taken my RE a LOT of cycles to figure out the protocol for me to respond. I also just found out my prolactin is high, so I start taking yet another drug today. RE said this could cause M/C (which I had last cycle), so good they discovered it.
