we have 3-day embryo transfer.and we made a BHCG test 10 days after embryo transfer .and the result was : 0,233...means negatve..
we were upset.
And does anyone have a first negative BFN then positive test results. BFP .please help us..
we are going crazy here waiting hopeless....
I appreciate what you answer
I'm sorry that you are feeling so upset. Fertility treatment is a very difficult thing to go through.
I think if your clinic took bloods from you for your pregnancy test, I would say that the result they gave you was correct. The clinic will only do a pregnancy test at a time when they know they will get a 100% correct result. I'm sorry if thats not what you wanted to hear..
If you did your own home pregnancy test and you just got a negative result, then there is a chance that your result could change if you've tested too early.
I think the best thing to do is to call your clinic and speak to them about your worries.
Good luck.

Converting your calendar to ours, that's roughly equivalent to 7 days after blastocyst transfer. A few pregnancies show up a few days later, maybe 10%.
I'm a little surprised they shared this result with you. I think they should wait until they are sure.
I'm sorry. I thought you had bloods taken at your clinic. If that was the case, then the result would have been as accurate as you can get it.
If you did a home pregnancy test 4 days before your test day, then yes, you still have chance of a BFP.
Still test tomorrow and try and stay positive. Let us know your result!!
Good luck, Corinna xx

hi all...today we are 14. day of after 3-day embryo transfer..we have the result BFN...0,123...we are sorry...I want to write that all I get it
the embryo implant the uterine wall between 6.day and 10. day after fertilization.so the early Bhcg result you can get from the serum by biochemical machines is 7.day after fertilization..and last day is 16.day...so the fact that all the doctors tell patients about do the test after 14 days after transfer is just to cleat the hcg levels..I mean befor oocyte retrival they enjected HCG (pregnyl or like that) so it is still in the serum for 14 days....so every clinic says do the test 14 days after transfer..and there is another reality urine strip hcg tests and serum hcg level tests are different as everyone knows...so never try with urine strip tests...just if you are curious about the result do the quantitative serum (blood) test..
and I would like to thank everybody who replied my question..
and I am a medical doctor..and I am clinical chemist specialist...but I realized that dont ask a doctor..ask a patient ..because when your are in play you know more than a doctor... Am I wrong
Anyway we are thinking to try again 3 months later..I am man..and my wife is still doesnt know the result...how should I give the bad news to her..what is your advises ..and for the wekk ahaed what should we do....
and we have frozen sperms..because I am an non obstructive asospermia patient and they found a lot of sperm from my tese.and they frosen some...if we try again 3 months later what shold we use for..a new fresh tese sperms or the frozen ones...which is better...
