Good morning

Well DH has given me 2 hours off work this morning. I am supposed to be doing the Image but I thought first I would check in with you lovely girls. Image
Luckily I don't have to do the Image as we have a lovely lady who comes in and cleans for us twice a week. I know it is being lazy but with the hours we work, and the amount our 2 dogs moult, we need it.

So how is everyone doing.

Image Aunty I can't wait for you to start the next stage of your treatment so we can return all of the support you have given us over the last few weeks.

Image Happymommy - I take progesterone pessaries and have been told that if I get a BFP we will need them for at least 12 weeks. still taking them won't do baby any harm

Image Becky I wanted to find you a sailing smiley but the only one I could find was one with Titanic on it, which I didn't think would do. I hope that you have a fab weekend and that the weather stays fine for your brothers wedding.

Souris - Don't worry. I think we analyze every twinge so much during the 2ww. Dont forget that many of the signs of AF are also the signs of early pregnancy. I hope that your mum is looking after you.

As for me, well just the same really. Still feeling a bit s
To everyone else whatever stage you are at good luck.

Sorry about the ending of that last post. For some reason the site wouldn't let me keep typing, but would let me submit what I had already typed. Strange. Anyway I was going to say that I still feeling extremely tired and felt a bit sick when I got up this morning.

Speak to you all later

Good morning all,

i've hidden myself in the office so no one can find me and it also gives me the chance to get on here!! Image

Becky- looks like that lovely weather has now moved over to us - so hopefully you crossing may be a little easier. Yes we are in Merthyr this weekend with the in-laws so I know I will get pampered and not have to lift a finger! Have a fantastic weekend. a lady never has too many boots/shoes.... I'm only going for 1 night and sure I will have a good selection! :D

I spoke to an acupuncturist yesterday as I read in zita's book that it helps during the 2ww, however he said that papers written said there is no real gain to do it now. He said that he does 3 sessions prior to EC and then 2 sessions on the day of ET (one before and one after). He works closely with my clinic - apparently a study they have done on av. 36yr old had a 58% success rate when they had acupuncture as opposed to 46% for that didn't.

I will def go to him if I need to go through another cycle but here's hoping that I don't! :D :D

Aunty - tut tut - having a secret HPT - but good thought!!

To everyone having scans today - wishing you loads of luck and hope all is well.

Shall pop back later - have a great day ......

hugs to all
Jackie (nimble)

ps Angela - you couldn't send yr cleaner down to me could you - haven't lifted a finger for days!

Hi Jackie
He is absolutely gorgeous - what type of dog is he and how old is he?

Ooohhh you just want to pick him up and cuddle him forever.....aww I want one now. DH says we cant have a dog as it wouldn't be fair as we both work long hours.......

I bet he is so good for the PMA Image

big hugs
Love Jackie No. 3 (i think)

Ps thinking perhaps I should just use my nickname as are 3 jackie's here - will that stop any confusion ???

Girls I need your advice tonight. As you know I have kept one HPT in the cupboard that was left behind from part of a twin pack. Anyway it has been tempting me all week and I have just given in and used it. To start with I thought it was a nagative but when you look really closely you can see a very faint pink dot in the positive box. The test is no old I don't even have the instructions anymore. Could this be the answer to our dreams? I don't think I want to tell DH yet just incase, plus I wasn't going to test until the hospital one on Monday. I just wanted to be mentally prepared for the answer. Please let me know what you think.

Angela

Nimble - If I could send you my cleaner I would as she is a god send. We work really long hours and can be sometimes a bit untidy. It doesn't matter what state the flat is in when she comes it is spotless when it goes. Also she is a seemstress and is making me a dress for a formal dinner next Saturday. We have told her about the IVF and she has built in extra room to take account of all the bloating, although apparently when she measured me yesterday my bust had shot out more than she thought so that part has got to be taken out.

angela - it is so nice to hear that you have someone looking after you, she sounds an absolute dream! All the signs are looking girl..!!

As for the hpt - I'm so tempted to say go and get another test but on other hand I wouldn't want you to be disappointed if you tested to early and your PMA sinks.... Image do you feel a little like this!!

Personally if it was me, I know what I would probably do (and I suspect if any of us were in that position) and thats go and get another HPT and save the clinic one til Monday.

Sorry I'm probably giving you really bad advice and Aunty will come along a give me a slap!!

I don't think you have anything to worry about anyway - all the signs are fantastic and you got a little pink dot which is a good sign tooo. Image

big hugs
love

Nimble - Sorry to dissapoint, it is nearly 9pm and I have to go to work now. I have just sneaked another look at the test and it is still showing a faint pink dot. I looked on www.peaonastick.com and they say that even a faint line is a positive so I guess it probably is. I can't do anything until tommorow and I think now I may wait until Monday as I think I have the answer I was looking for. However tommorow is another day and I might change my mind.

Emma - I hope that the follies grow over the weekend and that you are all set for EC on Tuesday. I had a similar number of follies to you and ended up with 20 eggs. Have they told you to drink loads of water? I was told at least 3.5 litres a day. I must admit I have got lazy over the last couple of days and now have pain in my ovary areas again so need to get back onto the water again.

Speak to you all tommorow
