FET - Questions

Today is cycle day one for me. My IVF nurse hasn't called me yet to let me know what the next step is. Orginally, I was told that I would be on BC pills and Lupron till cycle day 1, then estrogen patches to beef up my lining, then transfer.

Question: How long till transfer? Don't they have to transfer on a certian cycle day? Last time I was taking all the stim drugs and they had to retrive all the eggs, etc. so it ended up being 20 days after I started my Lupron shots.

So, I am just trying to plan it out in my head...would it be around Oct 4th? If today is cycle day 1 (meaning period started today)???

Any help/advice would be great. Thanks!

Well, I was on lupron for about 21 days. However, I develop a cyst so push me back one more week. Then on progestorone for about a week. Then I transfer. Well, you guessed it BFN. I wish you all the best. I think I was on the cycle for about 7 weeks..

Hey michelle- It is sooo different than what you got used to. I still haven't figured it out. i do know it is much quicker this time.

I called in w/ my 1st day of period after that I was given a script for Chlomid 6-7days worth (I think) Then week and half to 2wks was then monitored for blood work and ultra sounds of follicles. Mine grew quickly. I had 3 office visits in a week (blood ultrasound) then picked up script for progestrone, HCG and estrogen pills. Was told to wait for a call and given instructions when to take HCG then in 24hrs was told to come in for transfer!! Continued progestrone pills then started estrogen pills then the 2ww started!!!
I would think beginning of Oct. is pretty good estimate give or take a couple of days maybe.
