I am 32 years old. I have one son 6 yrs old naturally and normallywhen I was 26 yrs.. I planned for a second baby 1 yr back and had an ectopic pregnancy and becos of this my tubes are damaged. I took an HSG and the report says IVF is the only option for me since I have bilateral hyosaplinx. I also have irregular cycles. I have healthy living habits and can't understand why this is happening to me. I went to IVF clinic and they have just started on their tests. Did any one of you had similar issues and got success with IVF? I am so depressed. Please give me some helpful information.
Sorry to hear about what you are going through. This is a great place to get support.
I don't know much about your condition but I just wanted to say please come over to the general board and I am sure there are people there with similar problems who will help. I don't think everyone checks the introductions board........I don't always myself. I am sure you will get some good advice if you copy your message over to the general board.
I do understand how depressing infertility can be though. I'm pregnant with my first baby now but I will never forget the pain I went through before this.
I also have a son that was concieved naturally and then I went on to have a fallopian tube infection it took six long years to even get referred for tests as I had been pregnant before and after 18 months of tests we were told that both tubes were blocked and that our only option was ivf, like you, I was quite surprised as it seems so final .
we were lucky enough to get pregnant on our first attempt at ivf and that resulted in a healthy little girl who is now about to turn three and thinking about starting the whole process again!
