BFP at last!

Post by Lana »

Hi everyone!
I just wanted to log in and tell everyone that we finally did it! I am 13 weeks pregnant! :D :D We went for the specialised foetal anomoly scan (nuchal fold) on Sat and all is looking great. Was just waiting to see that all is well before sharing the news!
Everyone who is cycling now and in October....hang in there. It's SO worth all the pain when you see your precious baby on that scan!
Thank you to everyone who has listened to me over the years. I know I'm not a regualr poster, but I do check in quite often to see how everyone is doing.
Lots of baby dust all around.
Love Lana

CONGRATULATIONS LANA :D :D :D :D

I was very excited to read about your BFP, I too have severe PCOS and have just had my first IVF cycle cancelled in August due to OHSS, it is great to read that it can happen!!!!!
Best of luck to you for the rest of your pregnancy.

Hi there,
Thanks for all the well wishing! I live in South Africa and am flying to USA on 7th Oct to go see Barbra Streisand in NY! I just hope that the nausea/vomiting has stopped by the time we leave. I've had a really bad weekend in that department.

Cheeky Monkey- I had OHSS with both my pregnancies as a result of having PCOS. Some months we had to cancel because I didn't stim AT ALL and other months it looked fine (15 or so follicles) but then my E2 was low. All PCOS related. Very frustrating. But...when it works, it works! This cycle we had 35 eggs, so I have 8 frozen embies. But it was really hard being in hospital again after the GIFT (we bailed on IVF and went to GIFT for this pregnancy). Good luck. Hang in and let me know how it goes.
