hello all, been bored all day and nobody on here to chat to, so went to sleep and suddenly everyone's been posting!! july ann - I'm so sorry this wasn't your turn. I hope you'll find the strength to have another go and not give up. Your turn will come, as will everyone who keeps trying. Sadly some of us end up trying harder than others - just look at Di! If you need to chat we are all here for you!! Karen/Wibbs, I'm sure you are both as nervous as me. I've had really bad af pains/sore boobs etc today and am convinced it hasn't worked. Oh well at least I resisted the temptation to do a hpt. Although I was severly tempted today! In fact I've avoided the shops just in case!! I guess I'll be put out of my misery this time tomorrow. Fingers crossed for you both tomorrow and for Sarah on Friday! love nikola.xx

July Ann, I am really sorry for your news. Have you checked with Bourn whether you should stop the pessaries as I have read in the notes that you should keep taking them until you have spoken with the nurses. Please check with them first. Taking another pessary really won't be to awful. Hi Wibbs, I'm also at Bourn. I do my blood test tomorrow, but have been through a lot of them so not too nervous. We have also probably bumped into each other in the waiting room. Good luck with your test, bummer that you have to wait until Sat morning for the results! Good Nikola tommorow and good luck to Sarah for friday. Everyone else on/ about to start 2WW do try to keep as +ve as possible, v. difficult I know. Wow Nikola, same as you again, I kept checking site at work this afternoon & noone posting, I did not feel alsleep but I did manage to get some work done.... July Ann-Im really really sorry AF has arrived, like the others say though, dont stop taking the pessaries until the clinic confirm with a blood test, some people do get AF & still are pregnant, I know as you say not likely but you would never forgive yourself if you were & stopped the pessaries........You are a fantastic cycle buddy & as Nikola said in an earlier thread you have kept us all busy during the 2ww and I will be eternally grateful to you for that..... Sue-well done, I bet you & hubby are well chuffed...good luck for ET tomorrow. WHen will they let you know how many are good for freezing?? Sarah, I'll be on here all morning tomorrow, desperately trying to pass the time!! I'm off to bed now (Jackie - I know, even earlier than normal!!) I decided sooner I go to bed the sooner tomorrow will be here..... I've had really bad af pains tonight. I'm convinced my period is on its way. I shouldn't be too surprised, I have always said I didn't hold out much hope for this tmt. I will go tomorrow and go through the motions anyway. I will be watching the boards for Wibbs and Karen and keeping everything crossed. Someone has to keep the +ve results coming!! Try to sleep well everyone love nikola.xx

hi gang. well, i had my EC today, thank-you all for your thoughts, we got a bit of a shock after the sperm count, looks like DH sperm is borderline, and this has lessened our chances for fertilisation, something we did not even consider before, as the last time it was fine. needless to say, he's feeling a bit numb tonight, but we will know tomorrow. so more positive thoughts please. we got 7 eggs,3 at grade 2, and 4 at grade 3. i am still feeling a bit groggy, but fine. july-ann - i am so sorry to hear your news, you have been a good CB and kept everyone going, i wish you luck in the future.xx to all you testers tomorrow, i wish you all the best.xxx has anyone been told not to take the aspirin this time, we were as new trials going on.. how am i going to cope without chocolate? yes! yes! i know percy flaming pigs, they just don't have the same appeal as melt in your mouth choccie..but i will try{just for medicinal purposes!!} well, speak to you all soon, as sex in the city is on and ... love jackieT xxx

July Ann - really sorry. Keep going and give each other comfort - what else can you do? I was really really hoping you'd get a positive. You must feel really sad. I think you're the sort to be able to pick yourself up given time and I pray you are granted the strength to do it. hi Jackie - my consultant laughed at me taking aspirin but I took it anyway. His attitude is its an 'americanism' and there is no proof it can help with ivf. I've taken it anyway!! Right well i'm off to have my blood test, I've put it off long enough. fingers crossed. love nikola.xx

Hi, JULY ANN - so sorry to hear your AF has arrived - I know only too well the disappointment you must be feeling! You were the first person I posted to when you put a request up for SCB's! So I feel like we've been through this cycle very closely and just wish it had been your turn as well! Please take care and take the time you and DH need - we're all here for you! Nikola - keeping everything crossed for you today - how many bags of Percy Pigs have you to get you through the morning? Jackie - we had same thing happen to us on our 2nd IVF - had good fertilisation rate first time and then 2nd attempt get 12 eggs (my best ever) and DH's sperm was relly poor quality and only got 1 embryo! So we've had ICSI ever since! Hope you get good news today for embies!! Karen - good luck for today! Update on me - unit phoned and they are happy with hormone levels and will be phoning again today with 2nd lot of results. Tomorrow I've homecare coming out to see me to give me my 2nd lot of IV immunoglobulin, then have to go back down to Notts for blood test and hopefully scan on 6th Oct. Di

hi all/ just a quick update. my clinic have just phoned, i had 7 eggs and guess what all 7 have fertilised... we are so pleased.. tomorrow is ET and then the dreaded 2WW. but it will be worth it all in the end. i am thiking of all you today. good luck.- july-ann -any change? how are you keeping? sarah - you tomorrow.. bye for now love jackieT xxx

Sarah, how awful, hope he is ok! Jackie -fab news about fertislisation rate. 100% wow. lets hope they find a couple of really good embies to pop back tomorrow. Di - things start moving so quickly once you get past the +ve test. I'm so very pleased for you! Me? I think I'm going to need more than Percy Pigs to help me. Have got bad af pains, know its on its way but did the test this morning anyway. Am sat around waiting for confirmation that it hasn't worked. nevermind, I now look like a percy pig and will need to go on a serious diet and workout to get myself back into my clothes!!!! As soon as I hear its not worked out comes the hoover and a serious spring clean!! July Ann I have been jumping in and out of the site without reading posts properly and have just read your news. I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am. You have been so good at supporting everyone else through this cycle i really felt it was your turn to have the good news.
