Gina-So sorry to hear that your EC did not go as planned. Are you feeling ok? It seems like it was very traumatic for your body (and mind). I hope you are feeling ok and are not suffering any lingering complications from the procedure. I really believe what the others said-it only takes one. Good luck.

Cheekymonkey-I am so sorry that your cycle has been delayed even longer. That is really too bad. I can imagine how upset you must be. Once you get that BFP at Christmas, the wait will all be worth it.

Charity-great post! What you wrote, the quote from your calendar, makes so much sense-it really rings true with me. It is so easy to get focused on what you are trying to achieve-especially when it is something like this-that you forget to enjoy what you have. Your words really hit home with me tonight.

Good luck to everyone! Keeping my fingers crossed for those having ET this week!!

JenJ...How are stims doing? I have the biggest migraine ever!! I just started my first dose this morning...Urgh...I'm glad my quote was taken with the intent intended. I was a little worried cause you never know what frame of mind any of us are in. What applies to ME, may not apply to someone else, their specific circumstances, or current mental state. I just know I have been sad, frustrated, and yes angry through this entire process of trying to find out what's wrong, and then the waiting to get to that finish line, and the discouragement each step of the way makes you feel like crawling in a hole some days. Other days are sunny and bright with the hope and promise of things to come. Gosh I'm being very philosophical today. Okay...I'll knock that sh*t off...Onto brighter subjects...

I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to hear all the good BFP news from those before us...I even peaked around on some of the newly preggers strings, and was really excited for them all...And then thinking of all of us and our turn to join them...Can't wait...I want all the details... :D Even the not so nice ones...

Hey...Is anyone using the Crinone progesterone gel verses the oil injections for their 2WW, and hopefully after? I was reading so much about those awful shots on the other string that I got wondering if I was the only one NOT doing the shots? Wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing something and maybe the gel wasn't as effective or something...? Any info would be appreciated.

Can't wait until Monday to see how many follies are growing...JenJ, when is your next check..? Let me know what you find out when you go...You're a day ahead of me on the stims, I think? Right?

Anyway, I've rambled enough, sorry for the long posts...Baby dust for all and all for babies! :) Later gators...

okay I am back :-) It went well. They transfered 2 8 cell one grade A no fragmentation and a grade B with less that 10 % fragmentation. I wanted to transfer 3 but out of the 4 fertilized eggs 3 went to 8 cell and one only went to 4. They said either my uterus is ready or not and adding a third only increased risk. He said if they had all been 4 or 5 cell then he would be okay with 3. So now it is on to the 2ww :-) Let's just hope my womb is as ready as hubby and me :-)

I am praying for you other girls !!!!!!

Hey everyone!

Cowgirl, Malinka, and Lori Good Luck today!!!!!!!

Haylie and Gina your day is tomorrow! Good luck! and everyone is right Gina it only takes one!! But I understand your frustration. I hope you are feeling good today.

Nance- how are you doing??

cmoscar- That is a good E2 number...mine was only 27 after 4 days of stimms. They weren't real excited about that. That is why my meds got upped!! I hope today they have better news for me.

Everyone is moving right along. I'm a little behind. I went for a scan this morning and I am waiting for my blood results. I was told I would probably have to keep doing stimms thru next Tuesday. Yuck!! I was hoping to be done this weekend. The nurse estimated ER next thurs. or fri. if everything is ok with today's blood. I'm keeping everything crossed. This does mean I have to order MORE drugs which as you all know means MORE money. Oh boy!

Charity- I have been getting killer headaches too. The nurse said this morning that it was a good sign that my hormones were kicking in, and the meds were working. She also said I could take tylenol for the headaches. NO ADVIL!!

Take care everyone!!
Jenn

Cowgirl-YAY! Take care of those embies; they're settling in right now! I am so excited!

Charity-Sorry about your migraine. Ive been having some headaches too-trying to drink a ton of fluids as I am worried about OHSS. The stims are going ok; I'm a little on edge and just kind of worn down. I started them yesterday; I do 150 twice a day of Follistim. Then Saturday drop to 225 1x per day. I'm on Follistim. I am just so drained from all of this-the Lupron side effects (which I am still on but lower) plus the emotional aspects and worries/fears I have. I just want the whole thing to be over already! I don't go back for another scan until Wednesday.

Also I too am going to be using the crinone gel for progesterone. I am relieved as those progesterone shots sound horrible! I think I have read that it is a more effective delivery method to do the injections but I'm not totally sure. My doc doesn't seem to think it's a problem to use the gel so I'll go with that!

Take care all!!

Charity: in response to your progesterone question... I'm actually on the vaginal cream applicator & oil shots. The shots are getting better, but my butt is killing me.

Cowgirlclass: that is great news about your embies... stick little guys stick!

Malinka & Lori: any news on your little embies.... waiting patiently for some good news!

Here's a bunch of baby dust for everyone! :D

Jenn...Thanks for the tip on the NO advil...I was tempted, cause usually acetaminophen doesn't quite do the trick, but thought I remember reading no ibuprofen when TTC...I'm glad you said something, though, cause I wasn't quite sure, and may have broke-down...I'll be good, though...No advil for me...I'm also glad that it means they're working...They better... :)

Thanks everyone else on the progesterone feedback...I feel so bad for any of you that have to do those darn shots. The nurse showed me them, then showed me how long it took to put the oil in the syringe (which wasn't even cold), and I was like, OH MY GOD! I'm not usually a chicken with the shots, but that one scared the bageebers outta me...

JennJ...You said you were worried about OHSS & were drinking a lot of water to avoid...Does that help keep it from happening as much? The reason I ask is I reacted too well to Clomid, and had a couple of cysts (one that sent me to the emergency room), and that was only on 50 mgs, so I'm worried that the same will happen with the Follistim...I'm on a 150 am, 75 pm dosage, and 10 of the "Loopy" Lupron...I just wonder if I should be watching my water intake too...

Look at me...Here I go again with another book...Not to mention "it's all about me"...I'm sorry ladies...Just so many questions, and I feel like a kindergartener sitting a class of high school seniors, and want to know everything all at once...There's so much going on for everyone and I don't want to miss anything or wishing anyone all my best at each of the stages you're at...I'll leave you to read more interesting posts, and will say adieu...Later Gators... :)

hi everyone. well after a bit of a traumatic day with the EC yesterday, we had a call to say that 2 out of 3 have fertilised! don't know how good they are (DH took the call as i was too frightened it was bad news) so back in fri for the ET. :)
bit worried about what happens to the eggs they couldn't collect. if i ovulate nauraly, will this intervere with the ones that are transfered? anyone know??
anyway it all seems to be getting exciting for everyone doesn't it, i hope and pray we all get BFP soon. god knows we deserve it!

Charity- I'm with you...I have no clue what I am doing. And I DID break down and take a tylenol after they told me I could! It's good to ask a lot of questions!! I have to do PIO shots. My bottom is NOT looking forward to it!! It is a rather large needle

YIPPY!!!Cowgirl! Take care of those Embies!!! I'm so excited for you!

I just got the call. My estrogen went up to 137 they are happy about that. And so am I!! I go back Monday. Hopefully ER will be next week. Oh I am soooo excited!!

That's all for now!!
