Hi All Back from ET which all went ok. Had 8 x 4 cells, 1 x 3cell and 2 x 2 cell,said they were all good, so they have frozen 9 and put 2 off the 4 cell guys in. Dh asked to make sure they put back the 'sticky ones'! Fingers and toes crossed, and Jackie T please keep me company over the next 2 weeks! Just read Wibbs news! Fantastic, your message sounds just like I imagine mine would, many congratulations! What about Karen and Nikola, the suspense is killing me? July Ann, dont know what to say except I know how you feel. Keep your chin up and think positive. Your turn will come but dont wait another 7 yrs to try again like me! Have you got frozen ones? Sarah good luck for 2morrow. Whats the asprin theory anyone? I havent been told to take it and wonder why some of you are, should I? Have invested in caff free coffee(disgusting) drinking water like there is no tomorrow, and have hidden the chocolate, and taking my windease tablets. Asked the Doc today if there was anything I should/nt do and he said carry on as normally as possible(whats normal?!) Also could you all see the scan when you had the ET? If so what did you see? Expected to see the straw thingy and them popping out but all looked like a fuzzy mess, with a big black blob which was my full bladder. Did they go in ok?! They said they did but am paranoid. Hi Sue Excellent news about ET today - well done. My consultant poo pooed the idea of taking asprin and said it was an americansim that had no proof of it working. However, I took it anyway. 1 x 75mg each day after ET. I also switched to de-caf coffee - which brand are you trying? Nescafe Gold Blend De-Caf tastes exactly the same to me - I have it all the time. Also if you fancy a beer I've had Kaliber - very nice, can't tell the difference. Be good don't eat the chocolate, drink at least 8 pints of water a day, no baths and lots of PERCY PIGS! Then keep everything crossed. I'll be watching out for your result. Good luck love nikola.xx

Nicola Have just re adjusted my ear drums as there was a strange noise this afternoon! Brilliant news and on that note dh is getting jumbo pack of percy pigs tomorrow and some asprin! Will take any advice at the mo as a long 2 weeks ahead and with so many success stories am feeling more hopeful. Would still like to hear from anyone re the scan during transfer! Sue xx

Hi to everyone. Had EC today, got 6 from left ovary, right ovary still missing! Have to ring hospital tomorrow then hopefully ET Saturday. Slept through the whole thing which was lovely! Starting to feel abit groggy now and I have a awful pain in my right side , doc said eggs will release themselves naturally and get absorbed into my body as I have no tube for them to travel. What a waste! Sarah- Sorry about your dad-in-law. Anymore else to test today ot tomorrow I'm loosing track of where everyone is. Lesley(durham) xxx

Sarah, I hope you step dad is ok. I wanted to let you know that I am thinking about you and am wishing you all the best of luck tomorrow! Leslie and Jackie, good luck with ET. Sue, I couldn't really see anything on the screen during ET but after they were done they gave me a printout of the screen and I could see a white dot nestled comfortably in my uturus. I'm sure they put yours in the right place, it's just a shame that all we can see is grey and black fuzz during ET. I do take the aspirin daily, 81mg, but I have never been explained why. Hi, Re aspirin - I'm on 75mg aspirin as Dr believes it helps blood flow to uterus - am also on heparin injections as I have a poor blood supply to uterus - but obviously above have helped!!! July ann - of course I'll not forget you and I'll be there for you when you are ready to start again! Sue - great news on ET!!! The catheter they use for ET is always checked after to make sure the embies have been transferred! Hope that puts your mind at rest!!! Thinking of you over the next 2 weeks! Lesley - great news on ec -I only managed 5 eggs! Hope there's good news for you tomorrow! Nikola - I'm on decaff tea and fruit tea bags - the lemon and ginger are especially good if I'm feeling abit sick! You might find it helps after all those Percy Pigs!!! Sarah - hope you're step-dad is going to be ok and best of luck for tomorrow!!! Di

Hi guys, What a mad day, me as I keep calling my step dad my father in law.Anyway, he works on a ferry & yesterday his boiler suit caught fire, he went to hossy & they said only superficial, go back today to get dressing changed, he went back today & they then said looked worse than they first thought so he had to be taken to burns unit. I have covered 150miles today, he is ok but has to stay in & have a skin graft... It has taken my mind off tomorrow though as I have not had time to think about ivf or testing today & hopefully will sleep as Im shattered. Good luck SUe for your 2ww & fingers crossed fot good fertilisation tomorrow Lesley. July Ann-I know its a hard time for you at the mo but I hope you & your husband managed to celebrate your anniversary just a little bit.Get him to give you lots of cuddles tonight!! you deserve it... Im totally convinced that I am not pregnant as i dont really have any symptons apart from AF pains on & off........ I will let you all know at some point tomorrow be it good or bad. Hope all you other SCBs are doing ok too..... Sarah xx

hi gang. sue - delighted to see i have a buddy for the wonderfull 2WW. we hope to have 3 put back in tomorrow{if i have that many}. did'nt you do well at ET. lovely eggs. sarah -please post as soon as you can tomorrow as the suspence of all the 2 WW has nearly killed me. hope all is going well with your step-dad and father- in law. wibbs - thanks for those +++. lesley -i too was groggy for my EC, don't remember much of it, but have got a lot of wind. and pain on my left side{offending ovary} now i am completely at a loss about the aspirin, my clinic advised against it as no proof it works, and yet so many of you have taken it and got+++. but i sure am going to miss the choccie. must send DH to m&s tomorrow, for percy and gang. to everyone elce that i have not mentioned, good thoughts. take care love jackie xx

I can't keep up with you lot! There's me doing a hard day's work and in the meantime there's so much going on on the boards I am getting lost! I've still got a week of 2ww to go but that means one week has gone already and that went quite quick - still feeling positive and I have sore boobs now so have taken to doing the bouncing & poking thing in private moments! This has to be a good sign doesn't it? Congratulations to Wibbs and Nikola, I 've posted on your other threads. July Ann and Karen, I know nothing I say can make it feel better and it makes it all the more difficult with so many positives around but you know it will get better in time Sarah I'm sorry to hear about your stepdad/father in law but hopefully he'll heal soon. Will be looking for your post tomorrow and let's have another +ve please. Sue & Jackie, hope the 2ww goes quickly for you (and Sue I am farting for England - really bad ones too!!) Val - I too was given a printout of my ET scan screen to take home and you can see a little white dot in the midst of the grey fuzz, which is the embryos in the womb. Lesley - hope ET goes OK - you're bound to have some good ones to go back in out of that lot even if they did only use one ovary And hi to anyone else I haven't mentioned Got to go - off to New York with Flash Andy ha ha. The problem with Alfie is that I just can't get the Daz Doorstep Challenge out of my head (apologies to non-Eastenders fans for making no sense!) Lots of love Kat xxx

hello all Sorry - I'm doing a 'Jackie', its 2am and I can't sleep. The wretched dogs wanted to go out and now they are hunting for mice, hedgehogs and any other rodents they can find in the garden!! Who said living in the countryside was a good idea..... Sarah, I'm thinking of you right now and hope you have managed to get some sleep after your hectic day. I hope your s/d is ok and that you get the result you hope for and deserve tomorrow. My fingers are firmly crossed! Please don't give up, I've still got AF pains and told the nurse when she rang to tell me my result I can't possible be pg because I'm having af pains right this very second and my af is about to start!!! Jackie good luck with ET today. Re aspirin my consultant said exactly the same about being not proof blah blah, so I said well why not take it anyway ("for a laugh!") and look what happened. I'm convinced this and the other things I did differently this time have helped. The reflexology, no choc and no baths being the others! Lesley - good luck to you too on Saturday. I also got 6 eggs on my EC and look what happened to me. Deffo recommend Percy Pigs to help pass the time of day during 2ww, only trouble is you do end up looking like one. I'm sure I oinked in Tescos yesterday.... Kate - you are probably the only one awake right now as I sit at my computer! Sorry I didnt' post in time for you going to bed, but you'll have seen my good news by now!! Kat - grin and bear the 2ww and fingers crossed it will all be worth it when you test - which is when?? Di - will be investing in something ginger and pepermint ready for any sickness. Although quite fancy starting a crazy of some kind of ginger biscuit, will have a scout around and see whats out there.... July ann & Karen you are both in my thoughts and I'm so sorry you are both suffering such bitter disappointment, but you are both strong and you'll be back and when you do, I'll be here for you both! hi all back from my ET, and been in bed all afternoon, as you know we had 7 eggs, and today we had 3 put back in and 4 froze. which is brill for us as last time we had 11 eggs and 7 fertilised, but they could only use 2 and they rest were not good enough. so we are seeing this as a really positive sign. my clinic said that 2 of them started to break up within hours, another good sign. they also said that implantation should happen on monday, and to watch for any spotting, although not everyone gets this.. o.k have to go now as DH has just walked in with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and has started to cook dinner{could really get used to this} talk soon. and as usual my thoughts and prayers to all love jackieTxxx
