Hi all, felt dizzy this afternoon - is this a good sign? Could just be lack of caffeine of course...I am getting a bit obsessed with looking for signs now, still feeling positive though.
I test next Friday but don't expect a post until late as I will do it after work. Unless I can hold off till Sat morning but shouldn't think so.
Have a good weekend everyone and well done Jackie and hope your triplets are nice and comfy!
Lots of love
Kat xx

Hi

Two days down. I feel remarkably well! Really well in fact and look like me again, is this normal? Only thing I can think of is that I was so drugged up and with the threat of OHSS looming I felt so s**t anything is an improvement? Or maybe is because of the lack of caffine and alcohol! Detox!
Am munching my way through percy pigs, drinking 2 litres of water a day, taking 75mg asprin, no baths(please tell me a shower is ok tho!),and getting a taste for decaf.
Jackie T- well done on your ET and welcome to the 2WW! Do you test day after me?.
Nikola- I test on 9th, this being 2 wks after ET. Clinic said I could go in for blood test or do hpt. Is 2 wks the normal wait? I have booked that day off work as if -ve will be in no fit state to go in. Think I will do a hpt, if it is positive will probably go into London and have the blood test aswell so they can tell me the levels.
On a lighter note does your dh support Leeds?(you said he was at football Weds eve) My dh is a fanatic(even though we are from down south!). In fact our first date was at Elland Road(oh the romance, the champagne, the flowers etc!)
Kat- hows your wind?! mine is a little better at the moment thankfully!!! Hope you enjoy your hol in New York, poor alfie!

Sue xx
P.S. Experienced some thing today I hadnt since I was a teenager, being asked to lift my feet up whilst someone (dh) hoovered underneath! Tee Hee!

hi sue

Glad to see you are coping with the 2ww. I was guessing the 7th because I tested two weeks after EC not ET.

Dh was at Elland Road on WEdnesday. We were both supposed to go but I decided as it was the night before the test I should get an early night! We are both season tickets holders. We used to travel up every other saturday when we lived in London just to go to the football! I guess this makes me as mad as him.

I have to say Elland Road is not the most glamorous of venues for a first date! Going to a football match would be my ideal date, but Elland Road is lacking in luxury and glamour.

In fact one of dh's first comments after telling him we were pg and that it might be more than one, was damn this is going to cost me a fortune in season tickets!!!

Glad you are eating the Percy Pigs!! You can have showers - although I didn't use any smellies. I read in one of the leaflets re EC that you shouldn't wear body lotion, deodrant or anything fragrant before EC because it could affect the embies, so I decided I wouldn't use any afterwards either!! I did keep checking I didn't smell, but then so what, you'd rather smell for two weeks and get pg!

The good news is if your result is +ve you have to keep your feet up for another 2-4 weeks too. This is excellent I might never hoover again!!! Dh decided we really need to get our old cleaner back....funny that!

You keep resting and keep drinking the water!!

love nikola.xxx

Hi

Lesley, good luck, keep your feet up and enjoy the 2WW, looks like we will test on the same day. Mind you wondering if I should test earlier? No I will need the day off work.

Nicola- maybe we will be both bouncing around the family enclosure!! Dont go very often as bit of a journey as you know, dh said when we had 11 fertilise that we had a football team(more than can be said for Leeds at the mo, dont tell him I said that!) Agree E Road not too good for first date but they played Chelsea so atmosphere was brill, now I am having treatment in Chelsea, do you think thats an omen!!

Oh well off to drink more water, keep trying to imagine the little guys trying to embed themselves with little velcro feet(heres hoping)

Hope everyones having an enjoyable weekend

Sue xx

hi girls
i test on the 10/10/. which iam hoping is a good sign as it's one of my sisters birthday.
now i am in a bit of a state, my embryoligists[might be spelt wrong -feel free to correct me} has told us that as i had ET on fri, that sat and sun they would keep dividing up into more cells an sun eve blastyo would happen, and then lo and behold in an ideal world on monday implantation should occour, also that i might get a bleed, maybe not
but nobody has said anything about what i found this morning - a discoloured discharge -not blood - just not white - somebody must have had this, is it one or maybe all of embies flushed down the toilet{ iknow, i know, too much info but desperate.}
i am constantly drinking water and the milk. no caff. not even de-caff, no alcohol,{10 weeks now} no chocolate. resting
oh well, if anyone can shed a light on this please let me know.
take care will post later
love jackieT xxx

Jackie - I didn't get discharge stuff, but I know lots of girls that have, its quite normal. If you think about what your body has gone through in the last few hours - EC and ET its just getting rid of some of the crappy stuff. I'm rubbish at technical descriptions and I'm sure someelse will give you a much better explanation, but one thing I do know is that you shouldn't worry. Just keep your feet up lots of rest and drink lots of water.

Take it easy, less stress the better!!!! If it persists or changes colour phone your clinic tomorrow and they will give you a proper medical explanation - which I'm sure when translated into 'street' language will mean what I said!!

Hang on in there, you'll be fine.

love nikola.xxx

Hi Jackie, to put your mind at rest even more, I had pinky discharge (mixed in with pessary residue - nice) for the first couple of days of 2ww but clinic told me nothing to worry about it was because of body still getting rid of bleeding from EC.
Lots of love
Kat xx
