Tax deductability of IVF?

Post by JES24 »

Are the costs of IVF tax deductable as a "qualified" medical expense? Thanks.

This is from the IRS website. You can click on "fertility enhancement" and see that IVF is specifically mentioned as en eligible medical expense.

Hope this helps!

Good luck to you!

It is deductible, but only the amount of medical expenses (non reimburesd) that EXCEED 7.5% of your income.
