Wow! Everyone is moving right along!

I had a little surprise today. I went in for my E2 test and they did the minor exam. They decided to do the ultrasound today! I have 7 on the left and 4 on the right that are all at least 10mm. I have 1 that is 13mm. They started me on the Cetrotide to keep me from ovulating and I have another E2 and Scan of Saturday! They are saying that they might do my ER on Monday or at the latest on Wednesday. I am hoping for Monday because I really want to go camping over the weekend with my family. We have been planning on this campout for over a month. My RE said it should be fine as long as I am relaxing (YEAH no cooking) and I keep off my feet. We are going to camp on Galveston Island (on the beach) with our Cub Scout pack. There will be around 80 or people and loads of fun!

I am so excited by everyone's news. I love to see that all of us are making progress!

Good luck and sticky baby dust to all!

Hello All-So glad to see everyone moving along so quickly! I am really happy for those of you done with ER and ET and just letting your embies settle in. I can't wait to get to that point!

Charity-You asked about drinking a lot of fluids. I don't know if I will explain it as well as my RE but I was told to try and drink at least 1 gallon of fluids a day-water, gatorade, juice, etc. I guess when your ovaries are working so hard they need a lot of fluids to develop the eggs and it is easy to become dehydrated. Plus toxins drain off from the ovaries/follicles and need to be flushed out but I guess they can drain into the abdominal cavity and that is part of OHSS. I know I am not explaining it well but basically extra fluids are supposed to help reduce risk of OHSS. I too get cysts every time I taks stims . . . last time, I had 5! Fortunately they go away with bcp which I have to take for several weeks after I stim do get rid of the cysts. Hope that helps you at all!

Aunty-good luck with the stims. So glad you are moving forward!

cmoscar-11 is great! Congrats!

Nance-So glad your cyst removal went well and that you will be on your way!

Good luck to all. I can't wait to get past this Lupron, Follistim, & retrieval part. I'm so tired of feeling so badly! Good night all . . .

Hi guys
Seems to be so much going on. Have slipped me in the downregging section as i start my medi on Sunday. Cant believe how fast it has come round. I had to have my tubes removed in October so i'm hoping this will help with this cycle and make it a bfp.

 Hi Jeck

I got you message, thank you. Its great to know there is somewhere we can come and chat and everyone knows how you feel. Although we have friends and family they really dont know what we're going through.

My house move went really well. We moved up from London in 2000 and bought a flat but now we have a 3 bed detached house and we love it, it feels like we've been here forever. The move went without a hitch and now we've only got a few more boxes to unpack but it costs a fortune.

I start my meds on Sunday, first the nasal spray for about 2 weeks then on Oct 16th have my first scan. Its usually around this time the injections will start, which i hate, but hey no choice right.
How are your doing? Not long until EC, how you feeling about that?

Great to chat to you, catch up soon

Love Jen x

Thanks for the info Lori. :-) I was just curious because I was really leaning towards doing 3 and I was strongly discouraged from it. They said the only way they would feel comfortable with 3 was if the cell counts were not strong. I guess it all comes down now to how "ready" my endometrus is. :-) In 2ww we will know. :-)

Lots of baby dust for everyone!!!!!!

gina.s--WooHoo, so happy you have your wee ones back where they belong!!!! Did they transfer the 2???

Jen1d--I know what you mean about having a place to go that really understands what we are going thru. Even thou our families and friends try its just not the same... The feeling I hate the most is from pregnant family members... My nephew and his wife are expecting and I get that weird vibe from them and I hate it... This time no one from my family knows that I am doing IVF again and if I do get a BFP, I am waiting to tell them after I am thru the first trimester. I think this is best because if they did know and something bad happens I know the weirdness would be worse and I can't deal with that...

So glad the move went well and you are all settled in!!! That is a good feeling isn't it?!!?!?

cmoscar--11 wow that is so great!!! WooHoo!!! We are on our way my cycle buddy!!!!!

Sorry so short but I am at work of course and I need to act like I am doing something!!!!

Hi Ladies,

Congrats to all of you on the 2ww now. Sit back, relax, and let those babies snuggle in. I can't wait to hear BFPs!!!

Aunty - you were the first to welcome me to the boards and I am hoping and praying that this will be your time!!! You so deserve it! Keep us all posted. We can't wait to celebrate with you :D

Jenn - I too will have my EC next Thurs. or Friday - whohoo. There is stength in numbers so this is great that I have a cycle buddy! Looks like there is quite a few of us around the same time so the more the merrier!!

Cheeky - I hope you are feeling better and that time is moving for you. You have all our support and December will be here before you know it. The Christmas decorations are already out in all the stores here. I'm sure a lot of you going through this feels like me when I say it has been a long year.

I went in for my 1st bloodwork and US yesterday. I am right on track and go back in tomorrow. He is going to start me on the cetrotide tomorrow so that hopefully I won't ovulate early again. My EC will be next Thurs. or Fri.

I've been a mess since I started my shots on Monday. Since this is our 2nd round, we thought we remembered where to do the shot. Turns out we were doing it too low and it has been causing me extreme back pain and back spasms. I could barley walk yesterday and was pretty much in agony. I've never had back problems in my life and it is one of the worst things I've ever experienced. The last 3 shots DH has given me have hurt so bad and the last round I hardly felt anything nor did I have any side effects. This time has been the complete opposite. I have bruises on my butt and my DH feels soooo bad. I couldn't figure out why this time was so different and why my back was affected this way this time and not last time. We got out our picture diagram last night to see if we were doing it in the right spot and we weren't!!! We were too low and it was causing a lot of inflammation in my lower back. I feel like such an idiot and DH is horrified to give me the shot now. I'm floored at how just an inch or two off can cause such a different reaction. When he did the shot last night in the right spot it was a thousand times better. My back is still really inflammed but at least I know that it should subside soon.

Sorry to be so long winded and hope I didn't bore everyone to death. I can't wait to see that BFP and then this will all have been worth it!! It's such a struggle!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend and keep up the PMA!!!
