Mia - Tell us where you found the new PIO - I'm sure anything thinner would be better! Can you believe sometimes I can still feel the places where the shots when in last time? I think it was smart that you got the rubella shot too.

Lola - Thanks for the info on ovulation. I took the OPK this a.m. and sure enough, I'm ovulating now - day 33 or 34 - can you believe it? I just presume my body went to sleep for the first 20 days of my cycle. I'm not sure if we'll be able to try for another cycle by the end of the year, now. With 14 more days 'till AF, we're at a Mid-October start and my RE insists on 3 weeks of BCPs before starting lupron. We obviously don't want ET/ER accidentally being around x-mas or thanksgiving. Plus, december's such a busy month, I'm not sure I want to do this when I've got 20 other things making me stressed - this process is stressful enough. Oh well, I'm resigned to just waiting it out and seeing what happens. I called the acupuncturist and she wants me in tomorrow for another treatment - and said we need to have sex for three days straight - DH is thrilled! I also read your posts with Ghost and replied there, very good information. I hope you or he is able to get some answers for you as to whether the flax/soy is the issue.

Alicia - I'm so excited for you starting again! I wishing you all the best for the start of injections tomorrow!

Malinka - Good luck with the ET tomorrow. Try to rest and think nothing but positive thoughts for the next couple of weeks! I know it's easier said than done, but just visualize your beautiful embies cozying in!

Even if I don't get to be with you guys on this next round, I'm going to stick with you and cheer you on!

Alicia - congrats on starting again! ImageThat is exactly after a month from your BFN. What injections are you starting, the suppressing ones or the stimulating ones? You must be on a different protocol. I usually start with BCP for a couple weeks and then the suppressing shots and then stimulation. Hope everything will go well this time, wishing you a lot of nice follies! We are on a similar schedule again! Even though I never know what my schedule is, it keeps changing every week...

Suzhan and Mia --- I have responded to you on the general post regarding the phytoestrogens diet. I will let you know what the RE says on Tuesday. You are starting very soon! Let's hope we all get pregnant before Christmas!Image
Malinka, good luck with your ER today, sending you a lot of baby dust!Image
Jemima, how was your ER?Image

Myhb, how is everything going? Your test is almost here!Image

Yogi, what is your estrogen now? Hope all is well! Image

Sam, thanks for your wishes, let us know about your symptoms now so we know what to expect when expecting...Image

LOLA - The RE has me taking Bravelle in the morning and Menapur in the evening. The dosage is higher than last time, but this is the first time taking Bravelle. I sure hope the change in meds results in a sucessful cycle. This whole process is enough to make a person go insane. Image

SUZHAN - Thanks for the well wishes, and I'm really glad your around to keep my spirits up.
Image
MYHB -
Lots of prayers for you sweetie, hang in there its almost time.

MALINKA - Wishing you lots of sticky baby dust. Image

YOGI - Congrats!!! I'm glad everything is going good. I'm praying for you and your 17 follies. Image

ImageTo celebrate the next cycle my DH is taking me to the movies tonite, to see whatever I want! I need all the distractions I can get. Its not good for me to think about it all the time.

Love you all,
Alicia

Suzhan, The nurse IVF coordinator mentioned the new thinner PIO at my FET consultation tuesday. Because we told her about the lumps under my skin from the last round of PIOs, she said she thinks the thinner oil might be better. Your RE would probably know about it. I don't know what kind of oil it is, but the nurse did say it just came out.

Malinka, sticky baby dust to you! Image Good luck dear!

myhb, not too much more waiting! I can't wait to hear good news from you! Image

Congrats on starting stims Alicia! I'm praying for succes for you! Image

Hope everyone is doing well! Happy weekend!

Mia - Sorry to hear about your rubella shot but it better to be safe than sorry. You must be excited knowing that you won't be doing as many shots/medications with the FET. I did Lupron with this cycle and since it was a sub-q shot, it was painless. I was initially doing 10 units and then when I started my stims, I went down to 5. I did those shots in my thigh.

Lola - Sorry to hear about your estrogen levels fluctuating like that. Hang in there, you'll be starting soon enough (October 6th is not that far away). Is your RE doing any tests to determine what is causing the fluctuations? It's good that you trust your doctor because that is half of the battle. Have you been feeling antsy since you stopped running? It's bad enough being in the 2ww but not being able to run isn't helping matters :) . Running is usually a good way for me to clear my mind.

Suzhan - It must be a relief to have an idea of when AF will be arriving now. I guess your body needed some rest and decided to ovulate when it was good and ready. My clinic won't even start new cycles the week prior to Thanksgiving until after the start of the new year (I believe for the reason that the holidays are stressful enough without having to worry about IVF). So take this time to rest up, de-stress and take care of yourself so that when you do start, you'll be ready to go.

Alicia - Congratulations on starting again. You must be excited. I can't believe that with your first go around that your medications weren't packed in ice. What were they thinking? Enjoy the movies. I you and your DH have a great time.

Malinka - I hope the ET went well. I also had two transferred.

Yogi - I guess your levels aren't too bad if you have 17 follies. Hang in there, you are almost there.

As for me, I am doing ok during the 2ww. Luckily, I was busy at work so that helped keep me distracted and then when I'd get home from work, I was too tired to obsess about it :) . However, I did get a letter from the clinic today stating that they weren't able to freeze any embryos. So if we have to go through IVF again, I'll have to start from the beginning. I was upset when I first read the letter but then I got a hold of myself and told myself not to worry about it unless I have to. So the rest of the weekend, I'm going to keep myself busy doing other stuff.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
