Sex after BFP

I had my transfer 11 days ago and i was told today that the test was BFP!!!! we are really excited. I forgot to ask when are we allowed to start having sex again. we haven't because we did not want to mess everything up JUST IN CASE. any advice???

I was told by my clinic to wait until your first ultra sound. For me that was 1 month after egg retrieval.

Congratulations!!!!

I think different people are offered different advice and wait different times. Ask your dr/midwife what they suggest, but don't do anything until you feel ready emotionally or physically.

i decided to wait until after my 1st scan but by time it came along i had terrible morning sickness.... and i was extremly tired for love making... then when i did feel better... i felt too big.... my tummy seemed to grow over night... but thats what happens when its twins....

I heard that doctors suggest no sex 1st 3 months ( 1st trimester) or till 1st scan as was mentioned above!

Congratulations!

We were told no sex until after the first scan. If you have had a miscarriage in the past then they advise you to wait until the second trimester.
