Headaches

Hi, wondered if any of you had the same side effects, Im on my 10th day of down reggie, im injecting not sniffing, but since Friday I have had a terrible headache that just wont go away and its really getting me down, is this normal? What can I do to get rid of it, all I seem to do is want to sleep. Help !! Thanks Tracy x

Hi Tracy, I had a bad headache that kept coming and going for the first few days of when I was injecting. Everyone seems to get different side effects so I think they are all normal. I took paracetamol as my clinic told me it was OK to do so and that helped, and then the headache went after a few days anyway, so hopefully yours will too. hope this helps a bit Love Kat xx

I do hope so Kat as it's beginning to stress me out, which dosent help, I have been taking paracetamol but it dosent seem to work for some reason. Hopefully it goes soon before I go mad. Thanks for replying Love Tracy x

Hi Tracy I have just had my 8th injection of Buserelin and I too have a dull headache that I can't seem to shift. I also feel very down and keep getting an intermittent pain in my right shoulder. I, like you, have been taking paracetamol, doesn't really help me either. Lets hope that it passes soon! Good luck with your cycle! Lorraine G

Hi Tracy When I was injecting with Burselin I was ok for the 1st couple of days but then I got a dull headache which always seemed to be the back of my head. I am sure this is one of the side affects from the injecting maybe it would be worth asking your clinic about it?? Love Shell. xx

Thanks Lorraine and Shell, today my headache is slightly better but still there reminding me, but seems a lot easier today, so hopefully by tomorrow it would've disappeared completely. Ive got my first baseline scan Friday so I will ask the question when I go there. Good luck to you all Love Tracy x

Hi Tracy I am inhaling not injecting but I get a lot of headaches as well. My clinic warned me that this would be a side effect and that drinking plenty of water would help with it. they also said I could take paracetamol if I needed too. I find that the water helps a lot and sometimes I can make a headache go away by just guzzling. I hope this is helpful to you. Love Kate W

Just to let you know that I finally got rid of that ever lasting headache, I actually had some acupunture and it really worked, I was so pleased. Parcetomol, water, sleep, none of that seemed to shift it so I was relieved when it finally went, lets hope it stays away. Take care all Tracy x
