Hi girls - wonder if you can help me with a question?
I had Braxton Hicks very early on with Sam and recognised them to be what they were as they were quick pains.
However, the muppet like I am, this time, I've been having more tightenings and had been sure it was just the wee man squirming about and pusjing himself to the front. However, after our scare this week, it's been clear that it's BH, but today, I 've had them a lot. I'm not sure if it's because it wa sthe first time I've been out and about and on my feet for any length of time for a few days and the baby is moving position or not?????
Can anyone offer any pearls of wisdom. I'm keeping an eye on things, but can't remember it being like this before...

With my 1st pg I had no BH's but with my 2nd I had loads!
Apparently they are more frequent when you are active. I used to get them every time I walked my DD to school but never at any other time.

I looked at the site Jo - ta for that. In retrospect I think I perhaps should hve phoned the hospital - and would have done if Sunday had been the same, but things calmed down a little, so I'll just keep an eye on things.
Survived a day at work today and am back to taking things one day at a time. Essentials are now in a bag though in the hope they'll sit there to make me eat my words when I am complaining at 40 weeks
Take care both

I can understand your worry!
Just thinking of contractions makes me nervous since I'm never sure if I'm having BH or not, this being my first pregnancy.
I seem to get them a lot (tightenings anyway) when I do anything more physical, especially longer walks and anything done at counter-height (ex: cooking or ironing).
