Hello everyone,
I have an bad (?) update. Since our IVF clinic is too far (2.5 hrs drive) so we went to GYN office today for an ultrasound (6w5d).
We did not hear an heartbit and Nurse saild that sac(?) is measuring 4.1w.
:( :( :( and this is not a normal case.
My HCG was 128 after 11d5dt.

Called the IVF clinic and they asked us to come this saturday (not on 10thoct as it was scheduled).
There is no bleeding or any other cramp.

Not sure whats going on.

Hello Ladies

I hope you are all ok.

Maya how did you get on yesterday? I hope everything was ok. From what I read on the other thread your numbers sounded great last week. Fingers crossed for you.

Stefnrog congratulations on your BFP! Your numbers sound great. When's your first scan?

Anna good luck with your scan tomorrow. You will finally get to see a baby on the screen which is great. I had a scan Friday after spotting on Thursday night but thankfully everything is doing well. It's head was measuring 2 days ahead which is within normal limits, as long as it only stays 2 days ahead! Not that it matters as I'm having a section!

Dione I've read that the frequent urination during the night eases in the second trimester but then comes back in the third. Unfortunately for me that's not the case yet, I still get up at 14 minutes past every hour to wee!

I hope everyone else is ok.

Take care

Jo

Hi Ladies, hope everyone enjoying their weekend. Just popped in to update the list... things are moving quickly here!

Welcome Stefnrog, congratulations. Your beta sounds fine..yes the numbers are different for everyone. Some high numbers indicate twins though!

Maya, hope you are Ok. How was the apptmt? We didn't hear a heartbeat at our 6 week scan. I'm not sure when you can. I'm sure a wise lady here will be able to help with this. I'm thinking of you, try not to worry too much...easier said than done I know! Btw..my HCG was 97 after 14dp2dt ...numbers are just numbers....PMA to you x

Jo, thanks for thinking of me. Glad to hear you are OK. Me...I am a bag of nerves. DH really looking forward to scan tomorrow as we can start telling friends and family the good news. Me.... still in that worrying stage... I know we've got this far but still can't relax...so much went wrong for us during the last year it's hard to actually believe everything will be Ok now

Thanks Everyone for your reply.
I realty appriciate it. It does give me some strength.

Here is the update.
Yestesday we went to IVF clinic. According to the Doctor my LMP is 08/15 but I think its 08/12
My retrieval was 08/26 and transfer is 08/31
Not sure how many week i am pregnant.
My last couple of AF on 14th of each month.

Anyway Dr has some concern. He said that developement is one week behind. So it may have late implantation or something going wrong.
According to him, I am 6w3days pregnant and sac measuring 5w3days. Everything else is fine.
He does see "yolk" and "fetal pole" which was missing in two days back ultrasound.

He told us he is keeping his finger crossed

Let see
Need yours prayers...

Hi Maya

It sounds like good news. At least they saw more than they did last week. I had a scan at 6 weeks and the sac was only measuring 5 weeks and they didn't see the heartbeat (which is not unusual at that stage) but when I went back at 7 weeks the sac was measuring 7 weeks and the heartbeat was beating along nicely.

If you look at the left hand side of the screen under the heading resources there is the pregnancy calculator, maybe you can try and work out your due dates by that. In the UK they go by the scan dates anyway if there is more than 5 days difference from your LMP.

When do you have to go back to see him?

Keeping everything crossed for you.

Take care

Jo

Maya, it sounds positive. Hang in there and keep us posted. We are all thinking about you!

Anna, just wanted to wish you luck with the scan. I am so excited for you! Let us know how it goes.

Everyone... I have a question. Since last night I have had regular twinges/light throbs a couple of times an hour at the least. They are lower abdomen and a tiny bit to the left. I can't tell if it is uterus area or ovary, but it makes me nervous since it didn't just happen once or twice. It isn't painful or sharp, just like a dull throb/twinge. Also there is no blood or anything. Has anyone felt anything like this? Should I call my doctor? I just know they will say it is nothing since it isn't terribly painful and there is no blood. Any ideas?

Thanks, and I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.

Hi Lucy

It isn't uncommon to experience pain/uncomfortable during pregnancy. It's probably just your uterus expanding making room for that growing baby of yours. I get lots of pain, sometimes if I move to one side a little quickly it feels like the baby has a knife is giving me a stab!

If you are concerned I would speak to your midwife/GP but I think it's probably just "growing pains".

Best of luck to you

Jo

Hi
I had SEVERE lower abdominal pain, on the right hand side and called my gyn. She scanned me (at 10:00pm on a sun night) and told me I had ovarian cycsts that were rupturing - most probably because I have PCOS and I hyperstimulated with my GIFT. I'd say that if you're worried, there's nothing like a scan to put your mind at rest!
Good luck.

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this board and am looking for fellow IF survivors in their first trimester. I'm currently 5w6d after doing my first cycle of IVF with ICSI. Was shocked when I got the BFP, not to mention thrilled. I'll have my first scan this week on Thursday and I'm very nervous. Other than sore boobs (started with the PIO shots) and some tiredness (which is not unusual for me), I really haven't had any symptoms. I had cramping during the 2ww but it went away. I wish I had some nausea just to feel like everything is okay! I've felt a few pangs in my side, but have had no spotting thankfully. Anybody else out there without nausea at this point?

My beta numbers were 1132 at 14dp3dt and 3787 at 17dp3dt. We transferred two, so I'm wondering if we might have twins. If there were two growing in there, wouldn't I feel sick by now, though? I'll be fretting until Thursday!

Emmie

Hi Everyone!

I am new to this post. I got a BFP on 9/20. Due date on May 27th....A little nervous. Her aremy numbers.

9/20/2006 9dp5dt 234 HCG, 559 estrogen, 27.4 progestrone
9/26/2006 15dp5dt 2161 HCG, 849 estrogen, >40 progrestrone
But..I still have no symptoms. Occasional nausea. No sore boobs. Nothing. I am very very scared. With my daughter, I had everything. Last week the scan showed a sac that measured 4.4 mm, which was on target. But has anyone else felt like this? or had similar numbers? I am just scared that there will not be a heartbeat? Why don't I have any symptoms. And no there is no bleeding becauseI am still taking 4 caps progestrone, 1 ml prog oil, estrogen pills, and baby aspirin. I am slo crying everyday still. Not sure what to do . Sorry to burden you guys with this. I just do not know where else to turn.

Welcome Emmie, those sound like great numbers. My numbers were on the high side too, but not quite as high as yours. There is a definite possibility there are two in there. I ended up with one... but I learned that numbers don't really mean as much as we hope. High numbers are very good signs of strong, healthy pregnancies though. Congratulations!

Lana and Jo, thanks for you ideas. I have had twinges and the period-like cramps from time to time, it was the regularity of these that made me nervous. Thanks again girls

Can I add myself onto your lists. I am 5w4d pregnant at the moment. We had Icsi on 7/9 and transfered 2 emrios at 2 days old. I was diagnosed last week with moderate OHSS and we go for our first scan on 17/10 which I can't wait for.

I would also like to post a message to Anna to say how wonderful I think it is that you are pregnant. You were around when I was having IUI in Feb and March this year and I remember that you gave me loads of support then.

Angela

P.S Regarding the sick message above mine have some people not get better ways of spending their time.
