menagon? anyone else taking this??

Post by bekkie31 »

This is what I have been prescribed ready to start on around 4th October. My dosage is like 3 parts dry to one part liquid. Anyone else taking this? I am afraid amount will turn out to be too less. Or does thi sound right for anyone else who may be taking it. I have like the scan to check the ovaries about 8\9 days after injecting.. is this normal?

Thanks, Bekki

Hi Bekki,

I was taking Menagon when I was having IUI and the units were the same! I had one ampule of liquid and three ampules of powders and then on my second course of IUI I had one ampule of liquid and only two ampules of powders, so I dont think you have anything to worry about for the doses as I think it is perfectly noraml!
I was first scanned on day 8 of the injections and so your cycle sounds exactly the same as what mine was.
I hope that this was of some help to you and please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions!
I hope that all goes well for you and I will keep my fingers crossed for you for a BFP!

Message for Cheeky Monkey

I am also in Glasgow and appear to have a similar history i.e PCOS, TTC for 4 years. 9 cycles of clomid- no success. Two cycles of IUI - no success and am due to start IVF later this month i.e first scan 25th October 2006.

It would be great to hear more from you ..are you Royal or Nuffield?

Take care ....
