Hi Girls, Just checking how you are doing as we have all been a bit quiet of late. Hope you are both doing o.k. We have has a horrendous w/e with lots of shouting and tears but thankfully it is over and I think DH and I are feeling a bit better. I think he wanted to stop as we have used up all but 1 of our blastos, but I think I have convinced him to try one more go. My focus now is these test I am having on 9th Oct, handily in the first week of my new Job!! Luckily i will be working part time, so they have agreed for me to swap my days. Maybe we will be cycle buddies again but this time with +++++++++ves!! Take care Love Karen xx

hi karen glad you sound a bit better. Time is a good healer and i'm ready to go for it again in november. Hb wanted to stop as he feel's we are not going to get pg but I know we will, just have to try a bit harder than everyone else.Have to go to bourn on 15 october because i was on the trial they need more blood. Then we will see the doctor about next tmt. Do not think he will be able to tell us anything different as we have heard it before.What test did you have done and how much do they cost. sarah how are you doing. from july ann

Hi girls Thanks for thinking about me The inlaws came down the wend and I have been like a mad woman doing loads of house work and I have had about 20 bathes(slight exaggeration) AF has arrived today which brings it all back so feeling a bit crap again, also, if they advertise Clear Blue Digital tests on TV one more time I swear Im gonna put my fist through the tv screen-is it me or does this ad appear after every program? Have 1 more day off work & then back on wednesday, I think this will help because at the mo I am sat at home on my own & thats when you think about things. My best friend told me they are gonna try for kids in Jan,they are not bothered about kids either way so I just know she will fall straight away & we will be left behind.My hubby keeps telling me thats why tmt did not work cos Im meant to be PG same time as my friend so we can be PG together & eat for England!! Anyway, enough of me, glad you are both feeling positive too. I have f/up appt 9th october too!! spooky!! Just want to try again & meanwhile hope a miracle happens in between (you never know) Take care Sarah xx

Hi there, Sarah I know what you mean about that advert!! Have just been to Waitrose with the obligatory pregnant women!! July Ann, I'm not really sure what test I am having, they are aimed at seeing whether there is any particular reason why the embies won't stick. I think they will be looking at things like blood clotting (my dad has a history of thrombosis, although I have had screening which came back -ve) and things like that. Drugs like aspirin and heparing have been mentioned. I have had a nice long price list through from St Mary's ranging from about £30 to £250 depending on tests!! I am taking my savings cheque book with me as they don't take credit cards. I have spent so much money so far that another £1,000.00 doesn't seem that much!!! I'm not sure how I feel if they say there is nothing wrong, as it means I can't try anything else! Have you had any feed back about the LIF stuff? I am waiting for a follow up appointment. I think Mr Marikhenti (spelt right?) is getting a bit embarressed to keep seeing us. Oh well. Love Karen xx
