Aunty - I'm so concerned about you, this is the last thing you need, I just can't not believe what they are doing to you. It is their fault that they missed the scan and therefore they should compensate you with the drugs for a new cycle.

Do you have a IVF institute or commission or something similiar (a governing body so to speak). Realise that this doesn't help you know but it would interesting to find out where you stand on this especially in the states.

My heart goes out to you and I pray that the heartless b*****ds change their minds.

You are in my thoughts and I wish there was more that we could do to help.

I can't beleive what I am reading! I am infuriated. You should speak to the head of the clinic you go to, and let him know that the reputation of this clinic is on the line. You live in NYC, right? Well, you should tell the doctors to contact their drug representative for the injectibles they use and ask them for some "samples" and you should get those samples!!! Free of charge!!!! It would be a no brainer call for the doctor and an even bigger no brainer for the drug rep. I use to be in the business and know how the reps work.

Keep us posted. I am just so sorry you are going through this.

OMG..I can't believe what I've just read. I can't believe they will not compensate if they cancelled you cycle. I would demand answers and go to the head of the clinic. You are in my prayers. Big hugs xxxx

I am so sorry about your cycle. Which clinic is this? I am from NY as well. I can refer you to my DR's. They are the BEST in NY. They are on LI but they are excellent. Please take care of yourself.

well i go tuesday now and see my Dr face to face so that will be interesting...i will keep you posted and pray im taken down the road to mommyhood hopefully i will be laughing about this when my baby's kicking

I'm so sorry for you... they really should give you all the meds that you have taken to this point. Its not your fault, its theirs!!

Really praying for you so they take care of you and the cycle works. We spend a lot of time and money on these things and when something like this happens they need to take care of it.

Aunty, I am so sorry about your cycle! :( Hopefully after you talk face to face with your doc things will turn around. Come on down here and see my doc in Texas...they (his staff) have been wonderful to me!

Jackie...good luck on your test! Wishing you lots of luck for a BFP!

As for me, I have to go for a consultation this month with my RE before I start the whole process again. So, with work schedules and DH in football season, there's not a whole lot that works with my schedule. I have booked my first appointment for October 27 and I am very fortunate to have a good friend that has committed to making the long journey with me back and forth to the doctor while DH is working (I have to drive about 3 hours to get to my clinic). So, maybe I'll have a lot to give thanks for this thanksgiving (I hope I get to transfer by then). First baby would have been due around Christmas, so I am hoping to have some good news before that date passes.

Congratulations to all the BFP's this month! And, good luck to everyone still working on it!

Me, too Aunty! I am ready to get this show on the road. I am so worried that with only two embies left, that they won't survive the thaw. I had the strangest dream the other night that my doctor told me to thaw my embies the night before transfer by putting them in front of the window so the sun could shine on them. I did exactly what he said and someone accidentally picked up the straw and used it for a soda!

I know it is crazy...but I have had some really weird dreams that are way "out there" since this whole IVF process began. The best one, though was when I dreamt I was looking at a beautiful baby girl for the first time...I believe that one is destined to come true!

I hope things start looking up for you. I know how expensive these things can be. You have been so good to all of us here. You are in my thoughts and prayers tonight!

oh my your not alone on the dream front really ive had some of the freakiest dreams .... i really do believe your little girl dreams more of a vision than dream...i think you will get a 100% on the defrost i truly do...you know yoru always in my prayers out of site isnt out of mind...
im trying hard to get into a place that sits well with my forced choices its hard but i will get there...

OMG I haven't been on for a few days and Aunty i cannot believe what i am reading, i really do feel for you, this IVF is all so unfair!
Ur DR needs to be shot, its stressful enough as it is without this happening to you, i can't imagine how u r feeling now....i am thinking of u!!

ooohhhh I'm so excited, the pink line has appeared!! I think I'm preggers!!! We don't have blood tests at our clinic so I guess this is the best confirmation I'm going to get!

however at the same time, my heart and thoughts go out to Aunty....be strong and I pray that all will work out fine for you.

Just wanted to wish you loads of luck with the appointment tmrw. I could kiss their ass for you. Their mistake but yet you are paying the price for it. It's so maddening and upsetting. I'm here for you honey as you have for me many times babes.
