Fed, try not to feel too down. Most people have no idea how hard this process is or how sensitive we are. I don't think your friend intended to be insensitive or hurtful. She probably chose you to be godmother because you are the one she trusts the most. If you feel better about declining, then do. But try to give it some thought. Cheer up, you will have a baby too. I see that you have a child already and that means you can get PG again.
I'm having a tough time too because I'm surrounded by babies. My next door neighbor has a 2 month old, another has a 3 month old and another has 2 young toddlers. I was invited to a get together of neighbor ladies and declined, mostly because I didn't think I could handle being social in a gathering of moms and babies. I like my neighbors, they are really nice, some know about our situation and have been very supportive. I'd like to hang out with them more, but it's just too hard right now. I really hope I get my BFP this time, so then I can feel like I fit right in.
Fed7281..... first of all I know exactly how you feel... my so called BF is PG with #2 (her other is 18 months old and she is due in ov.) well she knows what I am doing but all she does is complain about being PG and how hard it is to have a 1 year old.. bla bla bla..... and she asked me and DH to be God parents.... I think it SUCKS... people just don't get it at all.... They have no idea how painful this all is...
I am sure your BF does not think that you will never be a mommy she just wants you to be a part of her babies life... I know it hurts and it sucks... but we are here and you get to feel and say what you want here... (pssst we wont tell) ((((HUGS))))) hang in there....

Hi ladies, I'll be away from my internet connection tomorrow. Gotta go out of town overnight. I will update the list if there is anything new on Wednesday night. Seems like we are all mostly waiting a week or 2 to start meds anyway.

Well i didnt hear from doctors yesterday so was very annoyed until DP told me that it would be Monday to Wednesday. I guess i heard Monday and that was it. So still waiting to hear!!!!!!!!!! Will check in when i hear anything. Like you i hope my cycle dosn't end up being around christmas but hey if it is i will let everyone else take control and i will relax, Thanksgiving isn't a problem for us as it is not celebrated here.
We had one of those great situations yesterday when a friend who doesn't know what we are going through was asking us why we don't have children and you need to get a move on etc. All we could do was smile and be polite. Sometimes you want to say think about it? look at our age have you not heard of people having problems. But i didn't want to embaress her.
I am so pleased for Jeck 28 eggs is loads.

Well today my BF emailed me and said that she changed her mind and she wants her sister to be the GM. Now and I hurt by that. I am just very emotional right now. There is so much going on with this ivf stuff, my job is giving me a hard time as I asked to go part time a month ago and no one will give me an answer, and now my friend. I am just having bad luck at the moment and I am trying so hard to stay positive.

Just started my BCP today. I am so excited and nervous. I think it is so funny that I am on BCP now. I have never taken any type of BCP in my life. I never thought my first time would be like this. My orientation is next Thursday 10/12 because this is my first IVF attempt. I have so many questions to ask the Dr. Is there anything that you all suggest I add to my list since I am new to all this .
jordan22- No they didn't tell us to put my DH on any med's for his problem. Hope everything goes well with you and your DH.

I have my orientation on the 11th. I thought is was strange to, take BCP to help you get pregnant, who would have guessed!!! Hope all goes well for you and hopefully we will be starting at the same time!
