Welcome new friends! I, like many of you, have experienced little during my nearly 10 weeks. I've been tired but that is subsiding...I have to get up too often in the night to potty but that too is reduced lately. I am swelling already but that is to be expected. No sickness, not one day (and I am having twins). It's normal! I think this is our gift considering all that we endured to get to this point. Enjoy it, don't worry about it!
My first beta was 375 13dp3dt and 4509 20dp3dt. High numbers sometimes mean multiples, but not always. Believe me, I searched EVERY website I could find until I had u/s confirmation. It varies so greatly in every pregnancy.
Finally, my last PIO injection and baby aspirin tomorrow morning. Yeah!
Take care all!

It does appear that alot of us do not have symptoms. Especially those of us still on meds. Maybe it is our reward. But of course I ate something today and I have been feeling like throwing it up. My scan is tomorrow morning. I will keep you guys posted. I am hoping to hear heartbeat. It might be to soon, but lets keep our fingers crossed. Dione, I see our numbers are very close. I am trying to stay positive. I am so tired of crying.
Anna how did your scan go? Was your phone line jammed last night ringing everyone?? lol
Emmie and Sadmommy your numbers sound really great. My clinic only do a beta at 16 days post transfer, they told me that if the number are in triple figures by then it is usually a good indication of multiples. But then saying that, there have been ladies on here with high numbers and have one baby but a very strong one. Best of luck to you. One of those things that you are just going to have to keep guessing until your scan!
Hi Maya, my clinic only did my beta at 16 days post transfer (it was 314 I think) and then 20 days post (which was just over 700). When do you have to go back for your next scan? I'm still prayer for you.
I have sore boobs and tiredness but I have never experienced sickness in any of my pregnancies. Most pregnancy symptoms start between 6-8 weeks so I wouldn't worry too much if you have nothing yet. Make the most of it and hopefully you may be a lucky one who doesn't get any. We go through enough without them anyway!
Sadmommy good luck with your scan today. I can't remember how far you are now but it isn't unusual not to see the heartbeat until week 7. I hope that you go and you will see two little heartbeats beating away at you!
Hi Angela, great to see you on this side. How are you feeling now? I hope it is easing.
Hello to the rest of you. I hope you are all doing ok. I will go back to my board now - see you all over there soon!

Hi ladies, just a quick post as I have to go back to school for a (stupid) governors meeting!
Had our 13 week scan yesterday....absolutely brilliant. We saw legs, feet, spine, heartbeat, toes, fingers eye sockets....it was unbelievable. I really needed to see the scan as I have had no symptoms and I was convinced something was wrong. All is well, a low risk for downs syndrome completed the good news.
Oh and they measured the baby and said that I am about 14 weeks pg not 13....rather strange as I know exactly when the egg was transferred etc...
Anyway sorry I can't do any personals...just wanted to share the good news....will catch up later in the week
Hugs to all here

Hi again! I really appreciate the reassurance that not having a lot of symptoms can be normal too. I'm just so anxious to see the scan on Thursday! It's nice to meet some people who are both a little ahead of me and going through the same thing. I have lots to learn about being pg after being so focused on IVF!
Just a quick note to let you know that my OHSS is getting worse again and I have now had to be signed off work until my scan in 2 weeks time. Someone of the other thread told me that it can last for a couple of months which I am not looking forward to. Has anyone else suffered with OHSS.
Dione, I am so jealous you got to quit the progesterone and the baby aspirin. It has been a couple of days now... so it is wonderful?
Anna, congrats on the good scan. That is strange that they are telling you that you are farther along. Did you ask how that could be since you didn't do this naturally??? Weird, but obviously good news.
I hit 10 weeks this week and feel great about that. I can't believe it is already 1/4 over! That makes me panic I just can't wait for that second trimester to get here. I have found that my all day queasiness is better if I wake up in the middle of the night and eat a snack. It is a pain, but I am up to hit the restroom anyway. I am still freakishly tired though... and can't wait for that to go away. My in-laws keep telling me to get used to it because it won't change for 18 years!
Take care ladies.

Hi Angela -
I had OHSS and am still bloated although don't feel as bad as I did when I first got my BFP. Apparently the fluid is still in my abdominal cavity, per the MD who last examined me. I have heard that it often persists until the time that the placenta is completely formed as that is when the ovaries get to stop working so hard and producing so many hormones, which I think is what makes the OHSS persist. I think that the placenta is completely formed somewhere between 14 and 16 weeks.

Hello Girls... can I join your board? I just got my BFP this past Tuesday and we're very excited and just praying that everything goes ok from this point on. My first HCG test results were 59 (which seem really low compared to you girls). My second HCG test results (from today) were up to 131, is this getting better? Just curious.... they say everything is ok, but since this is my first time I'm just nervous. I go in for my 1st scan Friday Oct. 20th, which will put me at 6 1/2 weeks.
Glad to have you here Tasha. Congrats on the BFP! The numbers sound good since they are doubling. Does you doctor or nurse have any concerns? It sounds like you are moving in the right direction!

Lucyluna- no my doctor nor my nurse have any issues with these numbers. However, I was just a little bit worried since they were so much smaller than the numbers I have seen on this thread. I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed that everything goes well from this point on. And when it comes time for our first scan hopefully things will be a lot higher by then.
