oh angela, would love to be scan buddies - how exciting!! I'm really confused (which doesn't take much at the mo). I looked at the pregnancy calculator and based on my EC date, it says I'm 4w something - how can that be? Please can someone explain - I only had my transfer 2 ww ago.

Aunty - wishing you loads of luck today and hope you kick ass.

Ang - one more sleep for you - so excited for you and can't wait to see that BFP!!!

Nimble - Normally they take how far pregnant you are from the date of your LMP as most people don't know when they conceive. This is usually 14 days before you conceive. For IVF they add 2 weeks onto the EC date, so if you had EC 2 weeks ago you are classed as 4 weeks pregnant.

For me the OHSS has returned this morning with avengence. The pain woke me at 4am and I spent about an hour just pacing round because it hurt so much I couldn't even sit down. I phoned the clinic and they are not worried. They have signed me off work for another week and told me to take it easy. Does anyone know how long it lasts because i will be glad when it goes away.

Sorry no more personals but sitting at the computer hurts.

Can you change your list? My follow up appointment has been brought forward from 20th Nov to 16th Oct. Won't go into detail now as feeling very miserable, but if you're interested, see my other post "Pain".

Hello Ladies!

I had my second visit today. The sac has gotten bigger from 4.9 to 10.1. Which according to my Dr is good. We saw a very, very small fetus. Still too little for a heartbeat. I go back either Friday or Monday dependent on my bloods today. Thank you ladies for all of your support. I am not sure what I would do without this board.

Happy mommy I am 5w5d so we are giong to be due around the same time. We don't get our first scan until 17th October though.

angela thats ages away did you tell them we are all waiting for news because im sorry but i think its about time these clinics realize just how many of us do these cycles together....its so cool you two will be sharing epidurals before we know it... :D :D

happymommy - how exciting for you to finally see your little one. Oh I can't not wait til the 17th seems such a long way.

Aunty - how are you today and how did you get on with the clinic. Are they still standing after you gave them what for?

I have a little request - could I call my little one 'peanut'??

Ems - i've read your other post and please don't give up yet. Wait until you see the Dr. I so hope that things work out for you and that your dreams come true.

Angela - you poor thing - I do hope that your pain goes away soon. Its is good that you have been signed off for another week. How are your employers being towards you and DH? Hope they are being nice!!!

Vickie/Jackie - I hope your follow up appts went well.

:D :D Nimble Peanut i love it....it's perfect..

well i didnt get to see my DR what a surprise...but the Dr of the day was trying to convince me all is well i think he could tell by my face it wasnt making any difference ...he said i see you decided to do the test and move forward i almost jumped down his throat ...i said you will find none of this is our decision trust me this is not how we chose to do any of it...i left there very sad...so far ive had two calls asking about cancelling..none from my Dr still waiting to talk to him...

angela hunny im so sorry your poorly.... pleased you got signed off work though 9they had better be good you)... im so please Ghost replied to you at least you know the baby doesnt mind at all that mommy is uncomfortable...bless, i honestly think it lasts at least a couple of months finaly the baby stuff kicks in and OHSS fades out i know thats not the best news and i know its uncomfortable sending you hugs...

Vickie Jackie i too hope you got some good news from your appointments...

Ange - Any news yet? Will keep my fingers crossed for you until we hear your news.

Aunty - I have a fear that the OHSS can hang around for a while. The clinci phoned this afternoon to sort out the sick note and she said that 1 week was definately not long enough so I think they are going to sign me off until the day of the scan, as at least then they will be able to see if it has gone down. I am very bored and fed up, and feeling guilty that DH is having to do all of my work as well as his own. It is very lonely being on my own, still good practise for when maternity leave kicks in. The bad news is I can't even spend all day on here as sitting at the computer hurts.

Nimble - Peanut sounds a lovely name.

Ems I hope that the pain has started to go down now. Take care of yourself.

Aunty - so wish there was something we could do to help!! Where is this bloody DR of yrs though..... it sounds to me like he is avoiding you! :evil: As for the other schumck, will he didn't help either as for saying it was your decision, oh I bet you could have screamed at him..... poor aunty wish we could come to NY and sort them out for you..... Image this is for you..a big hug

Ang - I've been checking the time out to see what time it was in NZ so figured that you;ll be getting up soon. I have everything crossed for you!! I suspect I may gone to bed time you get your results back but I'll be here first thing to check.... I would get up in the night to check but I'm so tired as I didn't sleep last night - think it had finally sunk in and my mind was racing for hours!! :shock:
