Hi Mel,

I should have my egg pickup on around fri 6th Oct and transfer on the 8th. That is if my cycle doesn't decide to alter itself.

When is your b'day?

Hi

Em my birthday is on the 30th-turning 30 OMG!

It will be lovely to have my partner here-will have only seen him twice in last 6 months! I would be with him if it wasn't for treatment, am actually considering having treatment in India (where he works) Some other people have posted about it but I'm not sure how confident I would be.

I will be thinking of you starting first IVF, where are you having treatment?

Hi Mel,

I'm with QFG on Wickham Tce. I will be having my pickup and transfer at the QFG day theatres which are next to St Andrew's.

Unfortunately I have just found out that my Doc will be on holidays when I'm due for it all so he is getting me to take the synarel longer and hold off on the puregon to make my cycle longer. This way I will have pickup a week later on around the 12th or 13th Oct when he's back.

Does anyone know if we should keep the synarel in the fridge? The letter from QFG says yes but not below 25' (???) and the drug info leaflet says no to the fridge but store below 25' (???). Now QLD weather is not going to be below 25' for long and my fridge is certainly cooler than 25'!

hi Em

I kept mine in the kitchen in Melb over winter (heating often on) and it was fine -it did what it was supposed to do....

Good luck with your cycle. When do you start stimming? Shame I won't be in sync with you this time - I'm all over the place with the polyp still needing to come out (2nd week Oct) and hormone levels all over the place with the cysts. Have another appointment next week.

Oh well - the little frosties aren't going anywhere!

Hi to everyone else too

Hi guys,

We slipped off the front page...I had to go looking!

Well AF came on friday and I started down regging on sat. I will start stimming on the 4th Oct. This makes EC around friday 13th. With ET on the 15th Oct (6 years to the day that DH and I met!)

Feeling pretty blue, probably from the synarel.

Hope you are all well.

Hi All,

Sorry to have been away for so long. I have not really had much to say, and to be honest, I think I needed a break from IVF and infertility in general.

I've done a quick catch up through the threads and it sounds like everyone has been through a few ups and downs. Good wishes and fingers crossed for everyone who is waiting on results and doing cycles and my sincerest condolances to those who have had bad news - my thoughts are with you all.

DH and I are taking an IVF break to get my IICH under control, and I'm taking the opportunity of the break to get a bit fitter and lose a few kilos, every bit surely has to help? Can't hurt at least.

Good luck with your first IVF cycle Em - hope it's the BFP that you want so much.

Take care all.

Cheers

Hi all,

Em, sorry about my absence, not like me I know!! Am somewhat sleep deprived at present, down time is generally spent sleeping. My girls are doing fantastically well. Elly is stacking on the weight (being a baby is truly the only time we celebrate the presence of cellulite on ones thighs!!), she has put on 1.3kg in the month since her birth so is officially a "hubba bubba". Annie doing well. She is just about toilet trained during the day now. She wears a nappy at night and during her day sleep but otherwise likes to share with all and sundry her toilet performance (the dogs are particularly impressed!!). Johnie and I are great. We're a good team and I'll miss him when he goes back to work next week. I'm sure that my house will go completely to pot but hey, that's life!!!

Take care all..

Hi Emma, good luck with your stemming..... You will be fine babe. Don't be scared. Just be careful!! I am really sorry that I haven't been around too. Thanks for keeping the thread up on the first page.

Suzanne, I still have 7 months left on my work contract and I am feeling bit down about it. And I was looking at my medical reports since 1999 (my first endo lap) and it depressed me to no end. My tubes were still patent back mid 2001....... I got married mid 2003, began ttc from late 2003 but apparently it was TOO LATE  . Tubes completely blocked by early 2005. Life sucks doesn't it.

Bel mate!! glad to hear everything is going great guns for you and Johnie. I am sure you will manage somehow when he goes back to work  . Good luck with everthing.

Angie, I am so envious of you right now - yes, your frosties are not going anywhere so take it easy and get ready for your frostie cycle. I am sure your mind and body will appreciate your patience. Take care.

Mel, I know exactly what you are going through with you being separated from your DP. I was separated from my hubby while I was on my tmt too, cried a lot on my own during it. Felt so sorry for myself sometimes, I didn't know why I had to go through all that on my own...

Chat again soon guys,
Cheers, Tiger
