All - I am finally awake again. My ER was easy, but I was really groggy. I was also very upset by the numbers. I had 8 perfect sized follies, but we only got 5 eggs. I won't know anything else until tomorrow. I am really sore and tired, so I am going back to bed. Thanks for all your support. I am praying hard that all of the eggs fertilize.

Hey everyone,
Well after further testing and discussion my Dr has decided that the cyst is a nonfunctional cyst and is going away on its own so we will go ahead with the original plan, which means I start the Menopur and Follistim on Friday. Hopefully they cause me to grow lots of follies!! Thank you to all how offered support during my scare with the cyst!!

Thook CONGRATS!! I am so happy for you and your dh! :P

Leap of Faith and Kolo WELCOME I am pretty new to this site but I know it has helped me a lot since I found it and I hope it will help you as well.

Cmoscar Five eggs is not a bad number by any means. Like so many of the others have said it is quality not quantity. You rest now and know that I am praying for you and your embies!

Jeck Thank you for the beautiful poem just reading it reminds me to be patient and to remember that there is a time for everything.

Have a great night everyone!!
Jill

Hey all...So much going on with everyone...

Just a quick report...Just back from second scan, & there were 15 follicles on Monday, but they only counted 13 today...They said not to worry, they may have missed one or two, but they were ranging from 10 to 13 mm in size (on day 7). They said they're moving along nicely, to stay on the same dosage (300 Follistim & 10 Lupron), & come back on Friday. They might bump me back a day for my EC, but will see my progress on Friday before deciding...My ovaries have really kicked in today. Can feel them aching...Worried what another week will bring for discomfort, but I wouldn't trade it for the world...Can you believe we're really on our way?!

Will do personals later...Take care in the meantime, ladies...

rparsons & Charity-Looks like we will be going through this at about the same time. Did you guys get a potential date for ER? I will probably be Sunday or Monday they said. I am REALLY freaked out about this part. I can't wait to be done with it so I can stop being so stressed out! Do you guys think you will be at the same time or have they said? I don't know about transfer yet-I don't know what my clinic does as far as that goes.

I am so glad to have some buddies!

**OOPS edited because I just read your sig Charity and see that you are scheduled for Tues. Still we are right at the same time and will be in the 2ww together!**

Good Morning Gals!

I hope all is well!

Thook - Congradulations! What were your number? Were they high or just normal? Never know how many buns are in the oven.

Jen J rparsons & Charity

Girls, stick together. You can only help each other on this ride to motherhood.

As for me, I am feeling much better today. I slept all day yesterday and now I am back at work on light duty. I am nervous about my egg report. I only had five taken yesterday. I am praying that each and every one of them are perfect (or at least three of them)! I have definitely decided after all it took just to get these five angels, I will not do this again. I will be content to say I tried and move to the next option, adoption. I am actually okay with this now and I am much calmer. I still hope this works, but it is not my only doorway to what I want.

Hope all is well with you all and I am sending lots of baby dust to all of you.

Good Morning Ladies,

I hope everyone is doing well.

Jeck - How are your embies doing? How are you feeling?

Cmoscar - I am glad you are feeling better today. Remember it only takes one. I'll say a prayer that all five are perfect.

Jenn, rparsons, Charity - How are you all feeling? Did you get confirmation for a date yet for ER?

Jstrandlund - That is great news about the cyst! You must be so excited. I am very happy for you.

thook - How are you feeling?

As for me I had a scan this morning and I am very happy to report that I have 15 (8 on the right and 7 on the left) all between 9 and 16 which I think is pretty good. They anticipate me going for one more scan over the weekend and then I should be good for ER either Tuesday or Wednesday. It was a surprise to everyone because no one expected my left ovary to work (I lost half of it to a tumor a few years back and now it is surrounded by scar tissue) but apparently the old girl has some life in her yet :D

I hope everyone is well.

Take care,
Nance

Jenn - I have everything crossed for you! They will find some great eggs in there. As far as the time, don't worry because you will send the rest of the day sleeping it off. At least I slept I all day yesterday. Keep us posted!

Racheal-so glad that your ER went ok. I hope all 5 of your eggs fertilize. As everyone says-it only takes one. I know you wished for more but it sounds like you are doing ok. I totally and completely understands what you mean about not signing up for round 2. At this point, I'm not sure I can even complete round 1! I think everyday about converting to an IUI cycle but I really want to see this through. You have done great-the hardest part is over and now you can relax a little and be hopeful about transfer and 2ww. All the best to you.

Nance-Congrats on the good results from your scan! You will be with Charity, rparsons and me! I have been told that ER will probably be Sunday or Monday-depends on my scan tomorrow. I think Charity is set for Tuesday. We will be hanging out together in the 2ww. I am on pins and needles-both literally and figuratively!!

Racheal- I don't know what to say. :( I am praying that you have a fighter!! I'm keeping everything crossed. Good luck, we are here for you!

JenJ- I know this is hard but you have to keep going and believe you are doing the right thing! Stay positive! This is a scary process, I know. You will see this through!! I'm hoping to come out on the other side of this with at least some answers as to why I have trouble getting pg. That is why I didn't switch to IUI at the last minute.

Well, I am going shopping to clear my head!!
take care everyone
Jenn

JenJ...I know you're really nervous about the procedure, so this might interest you, as well as many others. There's a blog that I've been following and the woman provided a link to a webcast that you can watch of the entire procedure. They don't get really graphic into the procedure itself, but they talk all about the various stages of IVF, and it's pretty cool. You have to download RealPlayer to view it, but they provide a link where you can download for free. Just follow this hyperlink and click on the "View Live Webcast" (it's not actually live) once you've downloaded RealPlayer (if you don't already have)...It's about an hour long, but you can fast forward it through the parts that don't apply...It shows everything from the how the embryologist locates the eggs in the aspirated fluids the doctor collects, to ICSI, to assisted hatching. It's pretty cool...I started watching it this morning, and plan on finishing tonight...Hope it brings you some comfort in seeing the method behind the madness we're going through...Take care...Here's the link... http://www.or-live.com/WFUBMC/1477/

Racheal and JenJ I know it is hard but try to stay strong. I know it is hard with all the hormones and we are trying to achieve our life dreams but life is so hard when taken out of perspective. Racheal like you said it only takes one! Heck when that one sticks and someones else is trying to nurse two babies you will thank your lucky stars! :-) Try to stay positive.

JenJ darlen what are you having so many problems with? Maybe you already said but I have gotten lost in all the posts?

My thoughts and prayers are with you women!
