hey u guys - this is so cool, we're all gonna b 2gether again 4 our next go!!!!

we're going to our new clinic 2moro for dh to 'do his bit' (get it tested - again) and fill out all the paperwork!....Once this is done we should hopefully get a consultation date which should be in 6-8 weeks and then i can start with my next af after that!!!

I'm really hoping if af is nice 2 me that we can start the meds in december!!! I'm hoping it won't roll over into january but if it does then theres not a lot we can do about it!

Do the clinics close down over xmas? - i'm gonna ask 2moro!!

Aunty - u r the best starting off these threads and i hope u r doin ok and those b**tard doctors messed up ur cycle!

I'm getting quite excited now!!!!

Dear Ladies

Would it be possible for me to join you all? You seem such a lovely bunch but know that some of you know each other from previous attempts so don't want to just crash in.

A little background. Both my tubes were blocked. 1st cycle in March/April/May (v long protocol) was a BFN. We do have 6 frosties but they are our back-up plan as frozen in time at age 3-9. Had a lap in June. Consultant persuaded me to let him open up both my tubes. Had major surgery at start of August which wrote me off for about 6 weeks where he was able to cut out blockage and re-connect but level of inflammation meant he is not sure how long we have before it closes up again - Terrific!!!! Have a caesarian like scar but without the bundle!!!

Plan was to try naturally and he told me to wait until after Xmas at earliest to do another ivf. Afraid to wait that long as already 40 & 41 not too far around corner. So going to see him at the end of this month to see if he'll let me do ivf 2 pre-Xmas.

May not be possible as I know that my clinic closes over Xmas and I will not have time especially if he wants me on the long protocol again.

So maybe he'll let me start in December on down regging and then stimmies after Xmas????? Should know more after see him.

But this seemed like a great place to join in with all you lovely ladies on route to Xmas/New Year BFPs.

CarolynB: Welcome, of course you can join in, everyone here is welcome, its such a shame we should meet under these circumstances, but its great to have you here, you have deff come to the right place the women here are wonderful and have supported me thru every crappy and happy bit that IVF can offer. They are all my friends whom i love very much, you are very welcome here, im just sorry that you have to go thru this painfull journey, but your not alone, we are all here for you.

Hi ladies.
Becky I too have to lose weight. I re-joined weight watchers on Mon. I was going to join next week but my friend wanted to go this week. I haven't been good at all coz I've had to eat all the 'bad' food i had bought before mon!! I really want to do this. I don't want to be a huge wobbly mummy!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA @ eating all the bad food what are we like eh? I joined slimming world - ive lost a lot on that diet b4 but cant do nothing with Weight Watchers, i always run out of points and all the free food is crap salad, lettuce and cucumber lol. At least with slimming world the free food can be meat and i can nibble on a pkt of ham if i run out of ideas LOL. (Gawd i sound like a right greedy cow dont i - im not that bad ladies - maybe half a pkt LOL)

I hate dieting, i detest it - BUT - i wil do it - Paula we can do it together, u log on and let us know on Monday how much u lose, and i'll log on on Tuesday evening to let u know how much ive put on - opps - i mean lost LOL

wow we are looking good ladys and its so good to read its not just me needs to loose weight i think im the heavest with 50lbs to loose ive started already so we can keep each other posted on that that will help knowing everyone knows if youve been bad...LOL...im still waiting on AF to see whats going to happen my Dr wasnt too sure after the messedup meds....

Hi Aunty!

I was hoping that you could add me to the list as well. We are doing a FET as well hopefully in late December or early January. I'm in the same boat with you and some of the other ladies. I hope to slim down to about 40 - to 50 lbs. Maybe someone could start looking for a safe and fast way for us to do it. I know it should be a lifestyle change but hey, we are all on a mission with a timeline !!!

Kitty i remember you from last cycle, im sorry we are all here but so pleased to be going through this with you all...i am going to try the cereal diet i like you have a lot to loose in a short period of time i also want to be on a strict sensible diet by the time we start our treatment so need to drop the weight supa fast...i swap two meals with cereal and have a light meal at 6pmish i allow myself a yoghurt during the day (ive been eating yobaby...i figure its good for baby after its born has to be good pre berth)and a cup of hot chocolate at bedtime..thats it i know stopping the meds helps me drop some weight ...open to any other ideas you ladys may do...

Wow this board has been bust since yesterday i to need to lose some (lots) of weight but just dont know where to start any advice will be greatly recieved . Thanks aunty for your kind words yesterday it's so good havin a place to come where everyone knows what your going through ,its great to see that alot from your last thread is here has i was really hooked on that it made excellent reading . I think this is going to be a busy thread .

Hey girls,

We've just got back from our new clinic! DH has done his sample and we have now filled in all the paperwork!!!
So long as everything is ok with all that there is a cancellation we can have for a consultation and it is .....18th October - OMG OMG!!!

I just need to keep my fingers crossed! After that we'll have planning appt and then when af arrives we can start!!! Realistly i still think it'll b december but at least we're underway - i'm soooo excited!!

Its really good to see that this board is filling up already and hi to all u i've never met b4!!! wouldn't it b good if we could meet uo 4 real - i think there'd b a few tears!!!

Afternoon Ladies,

I see theres quite a few of us that need to lose a few pounds/stones, isnt it great that we can 'egg' each other on to lose the weight - and then to put it back on again once we get BFB's (Big Fat Bellys lol)
(Im going out for a meal tonight - i will try to be good i promise!)

Vickie: Great news about ur clinic, im so pleased that ur with us (if u know what i mean!) Is this the clinic that is close to DH's family, do u have to stay with them whilst going thru treatment? Oh heck, ive just tht of something - do they have a PC we will want to know how u are doing!!

As for me, no news, really busy in work at the moment. Im an office administrator but that side of the business is really quiet at the moment, but one of my hobbies is buliding web sites and i am in the process of making one for work (not getting paid any extra for it i may add) but its keeping me out of trouble i suppose lol.
Nothing exciting planned for this weekend, just a meal tonight then X-Factor tomorrow lol (sad eh?)
On that note, i will bid u good night lovely ladies, im due a shower b4 i go for meal, or the resturaunt will soon be empty once i walk in
