Ange congrarts on the BFP!

Update: My next scan is on Oct 10th. I am praying to see more than a little dot or a blur. We are hoping to hear the heartbeat. Still not too many symptoms. But, I will not complain.

Sorry I can't do too many personals...just wanted to update everyone....will catch up later in the week.

Thank you Jackie. It will be lovely to have an area where we can drive each other potty with our pregnancy symptoms without worrying that we might upset anyone still going through their treatment or worse that has just had a BFN.

Auntie, I'm back! I see that you have bumped back your cycle to Dec/Jan. I am wishing you the best and hope that there won't be anything to stop you again. I just know you will get your BFP this time!

Well, I'm expecting AF next week around Oct. 9. Then I'll be able to start BCP then Lupron. I'm really, really praying for a BFP. Seems like you want it even worse after a BFN. Transfer will be Oct 30 or Nov 8 or 9. I'm so excited!

I hope you all are doing well. I have been posting on the Nov thread lately and am now the list keeper. But I will check in often to see how everyone is doing and chat.

The 2ww is the worst isn't it. Don't do a test yet...its to early and you'll just upset yourself unnecessarily.....Am sending BFP vibes to you.

I love the idea of having a thread on the Genral forum for the BFP..I hate the thought of leaving here after being through this journey with IVF all.
...how about something like Mothers to be(MTB) after IVF???

Anyways, I've now gone from obcessing on the 2ww to obcessing that my little lumph will fall out

. I read another thread and they call it CUC (constant undies checking) which I though was great. No real symtoms as yet apart from tingly @@ and feelign a little queasy in the evenings. Have 2nd bloods on Sunday to check Beta rising ok.

So sorry that I haven't been around in a long while. I went to Calgary, Alberta to have the Frozen Embryo Transfer. While in the area, we went to my sisters in Edmonton and stayed there for a relaxing 2 weeks. I did almost nothing but take it easy, trying to help the implant!! haha I didn't work. Got test result back this morning. A BFN!! WOW!! What a surprise. I am very dissapointed but I have to thank GOD for the little girl that I have. She really is a blessing and this has remined me VERY strongly of that. It is so expensive for us because we don't only have the expense of the procedure, drugs, and other costs but we also have travel, motel/hotel and food. Our frozen ones are in Calgary and we live in Newfoundland. It is because IVF is not offered here and also because Calgary has such a great success rate.. over 50% fresh and almost 50% frozen cycles. I guess we will start saving for 1 more attempt.
I am back to asking the old question of what did we ever do that was sooo wrong to not be able to have children easy like other people. I get my BFN and then I go to the store and hear someone complaining of how FAT they are getting... HELLO... your pregnant!!!! That makes me so mad!!!! Maybe I'll feel better later but right now I am upset, angry, dissappointed and all the rest that goes with it.

Becky - feel like I'm going crazy and how I can last another 6 days I don't know. Don't forget to let us know how you get on in your appointment and don't forget to take that long list of questions with you.

Ange - try not to stress (she says!!!) little lumph is snuggling in for another 8 months until he meets his mummy and daddy and is getting used to his new home.

Anyway must do some work now, have been in for over an hour and have just been catching up on the board!!!

Hello guys!

I think Jackie had a great idea to start this other september hopes, because I do not want to leave you or to move on to the "other" side yet, but I also feel guilty to post details and worries here knowing that some just got BFN and knowing how hard the waiting is...

Good news for me, in about 2 weeks time, I will go back to my lovely Dh who is (will be tonight) in Dubai. And there, I will have a good internet connection and I will stalk you night and days!!

So this will be my last personal update on here, then I will post on Jackies thread/ Had my 2nd beta 2 weeks post transfer, it was a little less than 5000 (4945 or something like that) and as the nurse did not call me, i guess it is ok. I cannot wait to have my first scan to see if the 2 buttons made it or only one... No sickness, just tired and sleepy. I am not enjoying it too much at the moment, I guess that I am waiting to be past the dreaded 12/15 weeks to allow myself to enjoy it fully, as deep down I am scared that this miracle will be taken away from me.
SO I only told close family and best friend. But once I will be reassured, I will make the best out of this pregnancy.
I also told myself to remember how much I wanted this to happen, and I will not allow myself to complain. I can be sick, in pain, fat and everything else, I feel blessed and would feel guilty to complain!

Ok i better go before i get disconnected

jackie - love the new thread, thank you for doing it as I do not want to lose touch with all the wonderful ladies that I have met on here over the past few months. I also share Souris feelings, that although we are so lucky and blessed to have our BFP, I do feel for those who with us in this thread that got BFN and how hard it must be for them.

I have seen that Aunty is on the case and has started a new thread for Dec/Jan so we can watch each and every one of them get their BFPs.

Ang - I'm doing fine, I'm not having any sypmtons at the moment apart from tender b@@bs, although it was commented today at work how tired I look ! Just waiting on my scan, as I think until then, I won't really believe it. Little lumph will be fine, no chance of her falling out - she is there for the duration now! (sorry she might be a he!)

Souris - wonderful news that you are going back to see your DH - must be hard for you at the moment to be away from him. I too have only told a handful of people, although I want to shout it from the top of the roof. We have now agreed to try and wait til xmas before we tell everyone else....although a little bump might be a give away

Haylie - not long to go on your 2ww, just try and resist those HPT, they make you even more crazy. Sending you loads of baby dust and postive vibes for a BFP

Jeck- good luck with the ET, hope your little ones settle in nicely.

Suzette really sorry to read about your BFN. It must be hard for you to have to travel all that way.

hopeful-in-lv - lets hope AF shows her head soon so you can start your cycle and be added to the BFP list

Aunty, just caught up with all the threads and so sadden to see that you have been pushed back to january, know how much you were looking forward to this cycle. Did you manage to sort out the costs? Are they covering them for you in Jan because of their errors?
i feel like the new year will bring so much luck and BFPs for you all.
