Hello Ladies,

Can I join?? I will be starting in Dec too with ER and ET in Jan.

It seems like a long way off but it will be here before you know it.

I will be having PGD this time. I read that it increases the odds alot. Im a little nervous about how many to put back. But then again I want it to work so bad.

Good luck to all and I will read you all soon.

Love,
Jackie

Yep... I will transfer at least one of each. They say that they do not freeze after PGD so I would like to put them all back but I might have too many.

Zirly,

If you read this, please tell me everything you know about PGD.

Thanks and good luck to everyone,

Love,
Jackie

Hi ladies. How are we all today? I'm suffering a wee bit today. Was out last night for a girl's nightout. First one in ages. I danced till i dropped. Oh and drank!! Image Image

Jackie - a bit of a personal ? hope you don't mind - have you been tested for Killer Cells? I see that you've had an awful time with m/c's. I had one a few weeks ago. I read somewhere that if you've had 3 or more you get tested for certain things. We have 9 frosties and i'm scared that it will happen again and then by the time I start a fresh cycle my eggs will be older.

Lisa - not long till your FET.

Aunty - I see you've been promoted to a valued contrib. Well done. You deserve it! Image

Becky - I'm not really wanting to go to my weigh in on mon. I haven't been good! Image I wasn't really geared up for starting. I'm starting on Mon but i'll still go to get weighed.

Take care Paula x

Good evening ladies :D

First off, if there are any spelling mistakes, just ignore them as im slightly intoxicated  mind u, im crap at spelling so u prob think its a normal posting LOL.

Paula: Im so glad ur not weighing in on Monday - cos ive been a really naughty girl (slap my wrist lol) i wont lose any weight his week either - face maybe, but not weight lol. i too ate all the bad food in the house, and had to drink the wine last night when i got home from my meal - i had steak (well done) with chips, onion rings and stir fry - then for desert (for those of u on a serious diet - please look away) i had warm chocolate sponge with chocolate sauce and cream - oh gawd, it was better than sex lol. I promise tho, next week i will start proper

Rachel: Sorry to hear about ur MIL - u make sure u give DH plennty of loves and cwtches (Welsh for hugs) Im sorry i cant help with the timing of ur AF, but surley it should be pretty soon .....

Vickie: OMG - Your cancelation a sign or what? I really beleive this is it for u hun - Aunty will be posting ur stork really soon, and i cant wait to see it there next to ur name :D

(DH is in the living room and singing along to the acts on the xtra factor lol - he's so funny!)

Nimble: Of course we dont mind u poping in, i love to hear how ur doing and my wee god daughter - i apologise tho tonight, as she may have to look away as her god mommy is slightly drunk - big grins lol.

Welll, i better go lovely ladies before i start to sing - and trust me, u wouldnt want to be around for that LOL

Take care all ......

Becky Xxxx

Paula i never noticed that...what is it...i went and checked hubbys wallet...lol...im thinking it means im on here way too much...LOL...your so funny i loved the dancing drinking smilies..way to go we deserve some mad time and we have plenty of time for baby body's later....

Lara im not 100% but i thought Af only played up if you had a D&C...did you?...if you did then i know it can be a while for your body to recover if not then you should have had one...i would call your clinic or DR and check on that. my DR told me i should have had AF by now but it hasnt come yet i hope im not too messed up thats all we need in this waiting time isnt it..

Becky...that will be me later beer and a movie tonight..woohoo cos i can...we have some really good things planned inbetween now and baseline...like Halloween party...a haunted hayride...also we are going to sleepy hollow there is a guy who does all the special effects for hollywood and hes done a haunted castle and headless horseman thing in Sleepy Hollow so we are going to that...then we have two christmas partys early December and a chinese auction party on 31st....then i start my joyus meds again....i miss bomfire night....happy hangover tomorrow

love to you all Aunty

Wow

This thread is really busy already.

Vickie - Good to know there is another Devon lass on here. My parents are living down in Dawlish and that is where I grew up! Wow. You were lucky to get a consultation that soon - it must be a sign. I am waiting until 31st October at my regular clinic!!!

Paula - Good for you on your night out. Sounds like you really let your hair down. You may re-call that we were exchanging recommendations on good books to read. I ordered Fertily for Dummies off Amazon but still have not seen it. I need to chase them down! Any other good recommendations welcome? Not sure that I have read anything that is as good as The Stork Club. I loved that book

Aunty - Thank you for the fantastic warm welcome. Well done and really well deserved on becoming a valued contributor. You certainly mertit it. You are so supportive of everyone even when you are having a rough time

Becky - Agree with you - would rather that we were meeting it each other under different circumstances but I am so thankful that I found this board otherwise I will have flipped out by now!!! I totally adore the X Factor. Getting great now that we are down to the last 12 people and the live shows will start. I was in floods of tears for those who stayed and those who got rejected last night. It is such compelling viewing. Then my Mum calls me on Sunday am and wants to discuss it to ensure that we both think that the right people got through!!

Rachel - Sending you and dh hugs today. My dh lost his Dad a year ago on Tuesday. So trying extra hard to be nice and not too hormonally challenged...... .......he does not need it right now. Not sure that I can help with your question about how long until AF comes. but if you are concerned then call your clinic and just ask sweetie. I do have a couple of friends who have to face tmt too so they and the wonderful ladies on here are the only people who really get what we are going through. That is why this board is so amazing

Jackie - I think that our timing may end up very similar. My clinic closes over Xmas and sure now that I will not have time to fit in another cycle pre-Xmas but hope that at least they'll let me start down regging pre-Xmas and then stimmies in the New Year. I am sure that PGD will really help your chances based on everything that I have read

Mia - Great for you to join us. You'll be getting a BFP at the end of this year and then that will start us off in the right way!

Lisa - you, brave strong lady for going again so soon. We would all love to have you here and see you get what you truely deserve hun

Hugs to everyone else.

I see lots of us are trying to lose weight. I also struggle with my weight. It is a daily battle - me versus Mars Bars!! I added lots of weight when I was working very long hours in a super stressful job. Then a friend dragged me to Weight Watchers. I found it very good. That was about 4 years ago. I lost about 40lbs. Guess that I added back about a stone over the next year. They we got married last May so I went back to Weight Watchers and got back to my lowest weight for years! However the 1st ivf did for me. Guess that I added about a stone - drugs and comfort eating. I really drove myself hard after my BFN to lose weight. Guess that I was punishing myself. But I have added pounds again over the past couple of months as being strict all the time just gets so boring. Guess this puts me down as a bit of a yo-yo dieter. Guess it is just to say that it is hard. I try to eat lots of fruit and veg and fish or chicken. I try to drink 2 litres of water a day as that helps flush things through your system. Not sure that there are any magic answers but think that cheering each other on will really help.

Hope that you are all having a lovely weekend.
Lots of Love
